Roseda Beef

Roseda –what can I say… I just stock my freezer with delicious ground beef, filets, and stew meat. I don’t go anywhere else anymore because all of the meat I get elsewhere STINKS to me now and is full of little hard bits. When you smell this fresh beef and cook it – it smells like fresh grass and grain. People may say well that’s inconvenient to go there, but if I stock up on ground beefs, hamburgers, stew meat, and filets, I can just buy veggies and dairy here and there, and cook for an entire month! I shop half of the time I used to! My life is easier! The drive there is gorgeous and there is a cool hard cider mill nearby that does tastings on the weekends. Country living at its best!

We’ll never buy grocery store beef again. This Roseda Farm is as good as it gets. Not only are you supporting your local farmers, but you’re supporting clean, healthy, happy cows who are wandering over 150 acres living a life of complete indulgence and freedom. Factory farming is one of those things humanity needs to uninvent — kind of like chemical warfare — and return to what Roseda is doing. I will happily HAPPILY pay a little more money for beef that’s from animals who are living well. That said, this beef tastes like NOTHING ELSE ON EARTH (and coming from me, who usually prefers fish over anything, that’s saying a lot). If factory farm beef tasted this good, I’d squander my morals in a heartbeat and you all could throw cow pies at me for my hypocrisy…
They also contract with a local pig and chicken farm and stock their freezers with pork and eggs and ice cream from the creamery down the street. It’s just amazing, and everyone should go here at least once. Because if you do, you’ll stop shopping anywhere else. Period.

In an effort to eat healthy, I stumbled upon this place. Happy cows were running about and mooing at each other, and I was very pleased to see a lot of great specials and package deals. The prices are very reasonable. The quality of the burgers, dogs, and roasts were beyond 5 stars, Really delicious, and it was great side benefit to know I was supporting a local business, and not consuming a ton of GMO and antibiotics.
