The Cox Arena includes monthly fun shows and team sortings, which occur about three times per month during the warmer months continuing through October. The fun shows include events such as barrel racing, pole bending, keyhole, and pee-wee and therapeutic riding classes. The sorting events involve teams of two. Each group of cattle are numbered 0 – 8 and once the team of riders goes into the pen, a number is called. The cattle must be sorted out of the pen in numerical order. The event is timed and the fastest time wins. The goal of events is toward having somewhere that families can come and enjoy their horses together in a safe, friendly environment. The owners, Shane and Kate Cox are fantastic and I highly recommend this arena. Admission is free for non-riders. You can contact Shane and Kate at
