I have a love/hate relationship with this store. I LOVE going in for crafty items, and spending time looking at everything. I LOVE the rewards program(saves me cash when I need it most), but lord help me I hate spending so much money here! Not that it’s a bad thing, but there’s just soo much that I want to buy! The staff is friendly, and most of the prices are reasonable. It’s definitely worth it tho.

Just a great store with some really friendly, smart staff members to help. For the countless school and craft projects around the house, Ben Franklin will have whatever we need. And the staff seem to be everywhere, asking if I need help — which I usually do. I really appreciate that they walk me to whatever it is I am looking for — just to make sure it will work. So much better than the typical, «…that’s on aisle 6…» with the look of good luck. And the owner of this store — Adrian — does so much for the local community. I have heard about his photo matting workshops to help the youth get ready for fair, discounts to youth organizations, free use of the meeting rooms — and always will to consider doing more when asked. A great store with exceptional people.

Was a loyal customer for years but no more… Got a nasty computer virus in email from BF and when I called to inquire, I was told that they’d been hacked. Granted, it happens but that doesn’t excuse their being totally dismissive of the problem I was experiencing as a result. The conversation was abrupt and no concern or apology was extended. I requested a call back which never came. Sad to say, I’ve been treated with better customer service at the DMV and the Post Office and as many of us know that bar isn’t very high!

I have only been here a few times, but EVERYTIME I come here the staff is so friendly and nice. If you happen to ask someone who doesnt have your answer, they will stick with you until they find someone who does. They always have the cutest DIY ideas that are so reasonably priced. I was checking out the christmas stuff today and the lady working offered to share her pintrest borad with me where she posts all the DIY projects the have up. This is by far the best craft store around. Its always fun to visit just to check out what they offer.

My first time in this huge store; I was only there to pick up my Washington Row by Row Experience pattern and kit. As soon as I walked in, a very nice store clerk asked if I needed any assistance, I actually did because the store is huge. Very pleasant experience and next time I am in the neighborhood, I will be back!

Where do you find these people? Ben Franklin Monroe is a customer service utopia. I have had previous, unfavorable experiences at the Redmond location. NOTE I was educated today these stores are franchised, and the owners in Redmond are not affiliated with the Monroe location. I stopped in to pick up some hand made looking Seahawks signs, but the creative juices started to flow. Instead of paying $ 29.99, why not make something on my own. I settled on a 12’s candy jar that I would fill with green and blue Jelly Bellys. I was looking for the number 12. but no luck. I asked a team member and she takes me to an option. When I advised I preferred a different color, she suggested thier media department could make one for me and took me to the department. What??? How awesome is that? You have a media department?(FYI Redmond employees will never take you to an item, or provide awesome solutions) The media department is top rate. They are cautious not to print anything that could be copy written, but wow they will find some clever solutions. I saw so many excellent ideas, they even make custom bottled water labels. clever! I don’t remember the name of the media art woman, but she was young and wore ruffle socks. She was a Rockstar in the media department. I started to feel bad when I said I could not come back after her lunch break. Nonetheless she took care of me, and still had a delightful customer first attitude. I also greatly appreciated this young woman’s clarity about costs. I left with 3 pieces of art for $ 9.00. What a deal! Moving on to checkout was a pure Beaver cleaver moment. I think her name started with a J, but I do recall her name tag saying floral. I’m not sure if they were focusing on email sign ups, but I would have given the sweetest woman in the world any info she had asked for. She provided insight into what I would receive If I created an account, told me about contests and reminded me not to let the invite go to spam. Yes, this sounds so ordinary, but the way she spoke to me was like I was her only customer all day. I literally left the store thinking huh, Monroe… the place to go for Wa states best customer service. Kudos to this store and thier customers first attitude. Yes the prices are a little higher, but you can also find great deals during sales. Very rare this day and age to find such extraordinary service. Something I would definitely pay a little extra for, any day.

Been a customer for years and had no problem. Just recently went in and got harassed by an older man who I’m assuming is the owner. Kept asking me questions and I got the vibe that he thought I was a shoplifter. Listen, I get that I have to purchase beads IN the bead department. But there is not one sign that says I can’t otherwise take them with me while I browse the rest of the store. If you’re not going to let people even take the beads out of the bead department period, THENYOUNEED A SIGNTHATMAKESTHATCLEAR.

Been going to Ben Franklins for over 30 years now. The prices are a little higher but when you think of having to drive into Everett it’s worth the stop! They have a wonderful variety of things and often times better than the bigger stores like Michaels. Wish they carried more Cricut supplies though. I have to say, that their staff is very informative. They are always able to help you out! Very knowledgeable. Love their classes too!

My daughter and I love coming here and getting supplies for crafts. They have classes, seminars and great customer service. We always end up going in for something and spend hours looking around. My daughter even asks to go there just to spend the day!

I am not a very crafty guy, in fact I know nothing about any of those things. But when I needed some fabric for a project in the man cave I was pleasantly surprised that old ben had the gear for me. I got in and out within very little time. I could even see myself going back there to get glue… no i think I will go to the hardware store for that, but when I need fabric…

I love this store! I used to shop here every week when I lived in Snohomish County. I recently stopped here after visiting an old friend in the area. It is like a fix going in here! The yarn selection and sales are pretty addicting! I learned knitting from Barbara at classes at this store! A crafter’s paradise for sure. They have fabric, notions, an incredible bead department, home décor, furniture, framing, flowers, yarn, all hobby stuff, toys and more. I like this store because they have different stuff than Michaels or JoAnns. At Christmas, they have the best ornaments etc… for your tree. Staff is friendly and many of them teach classes so they are knowledgeable about many crafts. BE careful fyi… it is easy to spend here!

I have a little secret to share… shhhhh… Ben Franklin was never President and his craft store sure ROCKS!!! WAAAHOOO!!! Took a little side trip to this place on the way back home from the Reptile Zoo, this place ROCKS too!!! Okay, kidding aside, this place is just packed with just about everything you could think of, need a new hobby? Then this IS the place to check out. Okay, so you don’t want to make handmade potholders, fine, but have you ever thought about taking up fake flower arrangements? They give out blue ribbons at the Fair for these kinds of things! Our group was sucked into the space time continuum here, 2 and a half hours later we were launched back into the«real» world. Heck, I just wanted to get a replacement clock part for a wall clock I received as a gift that a cheap-@*$ friend of mine had given me. 7 bags later, a hit to my pocket book, well not that bad of a hit, we made it to the van to find out we had too much stuff. Needless to say, the oldest daughter had to hike home that night… I kid, I kiiiiiid!!! Really a treat to find a nice clean place such as this, with very helpful and knowledgeable staff, I mean they totally understood me when I asked, for«that weird thingymajig part that makes clocks run without having to wind them up.» And ka-pow the lady knew what the heck I was talking about.

LOVEIT! This store is a crafters paradise! My favorite aisles in any craft store are the yarn and the scrapbooking. But this place just makes me want to branch out. They have tons of really cool stuff for really great prices. Thier yarn selection is unbeatable so far by my standards in terms of price and diversity. They carry many different yarns that some other stores dont carry.
