I came here one morning when the doughnuts were just made… best I’ve EVER had. They’re delicate and soft. Also, they have filing machines so you can get almost any doughnut filled with berry filling or custard!

When it’s MAPLEMADNESSDAY at work, you can BET that I hop on over here for a big ol box of maple bars. Many times, I have driven away with a box that was STILLWARM. Their donuts are light and fresh and the folks there seem to really care about earning and keeping your business. If you’ve eaten a donut from Henry’s, you’ll find these just as tasty and delicious without all the attitude. They don’t make cruellers though — but that’s the ONLY downside to his lovely little family owned shop.

AWESOME Donuts! Had to use a «cheat day» from my nutrition after a hike and I’m a huge maple bar fan, this place DIDNOT disappoint. The icing was perfectly glazed over.

OMG ! Just tried this placed for the first time last night when hubby was craving something sweet. I am sooooo happy we do not live in Monroe, If we were in Monroe, I would want to eat something here every day ! We normally eat very healthy food, in fact last night was the first time I ate a donut in over a year. And, my husband always has donuts on the counter from the grocery store bakeries, I have no problem resisting those at all — grocery store donuts taste like cardboard compared to this place !!! We had several different kinds, everything was fantastic, melt in your mouth, AMAZING flavor. sooooo incredibly yummy & fresh. I noticed some other reviews about breakfast & lunch items, we just zeroed in on the donuts, so that is all I can comment on here. We live near Woodinville, but I told my husband this morning, I would drive to monroe JUST to have these donuts. But, since we do try to eat healthy most of the time, we are going to have to limit our visits to once every month or two, so we don’t both blow up like giant balloon figures !!! Just TRY it, fan-freaking-tastic !!

Peanut butter and jelly, bacon and eggs, doughnuts and Phở. Yep you read that right. Prior to eating at Fancy Donuts I would never have guessed doughnuts and Phở could both be made so well at the same establishment. Went there one day to try their doughnuts and was amazed by the freshness. Brought back memories of picking up my grandfather, who was a baker, and having two glazed doughnuts with the glaze still wet with two cartons of milk. Next visit I tried their Vietnamese summer roll and was surprised at the size of it. Looked like a Summer Roll burrito! Not sure how the cook was able to stuff so much shrimp, noodles and other ingredients into that thing. One order was a meal in and of itself. Recently, I went there and tried the Phở and was pleasantly surprised. The broth was delicious and well rounded without being too oily and fatty. The mung beans, basil and jalapeño were fresh and crispy and the lean beef was both lean and tender. The price was lower than most Phở restaurants so the value definitely can’t be beat. I’ve tried many Phở places and the dish served here is excellent and way above the average. With an order of Phở, an order of their Summer Roll there won’t be room for their delicious doughnuts. But don’t worry, order a couple to go. They’re so fresh that even sitting on the kitchen counter for a couple of hours will not diminish their deliciousness.

This is a gem in the town of Monroe with friendly atmosphere and make you feel welcome. The doughnuts melts in your mouth and not greasy. The cherry, apple, blueberry, raspberry turnovers, the ham and cheese croissant is very good and tasty at a reasonable prices. They also offer Phở’ soup and Asian sandwich that I could not wait to try which will be on my next review. Yummmmy…

We’re not a very fattening food kinda couple but, I have never tried such a delicious bakery, doughnuts are extremely delicious, and my favorite is the Blueberry Fritter and that butterfly covered with maple. In general is all to die for. Every time make’s me feel that everything was made with love

I like doughnuts. A lot. We finally broke down and gave this place a try. These have got to be the best doughnuts I’ve ever had. My favorites are the old fashioned and the buttermilk bars. We’ve sampled most of what they have to offer, including the bacon maple bar. Yum. The folks that work there are always quite friendly and have a tendency to mis-count(in your favor) donuts being put in the box. In fact, one Sunday morning, we stopped in to grab a dozen mixed. The gentlemen behind the counter loaded every vacant cubic inch of the box with tasty doughnut holes. We visit this store about once every two weeks. There is also a new doughnut shop in town. We’ve tried it as well. It does not hold a candle to Fresh and Fancy Doughnuts.

Just talk to the sweet owner, you will have a great time, and oh yea the donuts how I love the donuts. I live in Monroe, and the Phở is not the best but did I mention the donuts, and the sweet owner. try the spring rolls though

I’ve never gone here for Phở, but let me say I created a Unilocal account just to review this place. I’ve stayed awake/woken up early just to roll in here at 4AM when they open to get a donut right out the oven. My personal recommendation is a cinnamon roll covered in butter cream frosting with a crumble top… Awesome. Cake donuts/donut holes are as good as anywhere else, but the specialty donuts and maple/chocolate bars can not be touched.

Very interesting place, donuts and phở. Good fresh donuts, I would take this over the Albertson donuts any day. However, on the flip side I would probably pass on their Phở. It is a bit pricey but they do not have much competition. The owner travel all over Vietnam and Cambodia to try out different phở recipes and came back to the states to put a spin on his own version. The broth itself does not have the depth of flavor that is usually needed to draw out the different flavors. Although I do not order phở from here anymore, I still do stop by to pick up a donut or two every so often.

*new owners since my review. I think they are working on their technique. Cannot cannot cannot beat these donuts. They are melt in your mouth good. We show up once a weekend with kids in tow and are never disappointed. They usually have the news going when we arrive, but when the owner sees our daughter he throws on an old school cartoon like scooby doo or yogi bear. It is so pleasant we almost always eat in(and I typically avoid eating in any form of restaurant with my 2 and 4 year old). Delicious donuts, warm and friendly atmosphere. They have strayed serving phở. I am looking forward to checking that out.
