Gander Mountain is like a Walmart for guns and related items. Big selection of new and used firearms. I purchased a new Ruger SR9 here last week. Priced them out online, and brought the best offer with me to see if they would match. They did! Made it real easy for me to do business there. I worked with Lanny. He’s great. Took the time to make sure I got what I needed, and helped me pick out the proper cleaning supplies. Wasn’t pushy at all. I wouldn’t hesitate to return for any of my firearm needs. Their price match policy makes life easy. Ruger SR9MSRP is $ 529. Bought mine for $ 399. 5 stars for selection, price match, and great staff.

Prices are high. Expect to pay 20% more for weapons than Walmart. They don’t match Amazon either. With an Amazon prime account you could save 50% or more on accessories and free shipping.

This place has it all handguns, rifles, scopes, ammo, holsters, gun safes, bows and crossbows and tactical gear. It’s an amazing store. Ask for Erik When you go in for the best deals on everything.

I don’t know that I have ever seen this many guns in one place. For sure that sign out from«firearms superstore» covers it. Shotguns, rifles and pistols. Just a shedload of guns, guns and more guns. More .40 and .45 ammo than you can shake a stick at, but I didn’t see any 9 mm or .380. Hunting and outdoors gear too. Sights, eye and ear protection, heck they even sell USED guns here. Prices? Well, they weren’t great but they sure had a lot to choose from.

The newest Gander Mountain location is billed as a «firearms superstore», but I have to confess that I really have no idea what that means. You would think it means they stock nothing but guns, or gun supplies, or gun accessories or something. To me, it really didn’t seem that much different than any other Gander Mountain. Maybe their gun section(at the back wall, like the other Gander locations I’ve seen) was a bit larger than the others, but that’s about it. Still plenty of other merchandise on display. We happened in during their grand opening weekend, which meant the place was packed with all sorts of people. There were vendors hawking their wild game jerky out front, people looking just to look, and even the Swamp People hanging out to say hello. I don’t think they are there on a regular day. Since many Gander Mountain locations seem to be a bit downtrodden, it’s nice that this one is new and relatively clean. It will be interesting to see if it stays that way.
