I’m a seasoned veteran of eyebrow-threading and have a usual place, but I stopped here while out of town for lack of a better local option. The woman working barely acknowledged the presence of my mother and I, and when she did decide to speak we could hardly hear her. No smiles, no personality. It was pretty apparent this employee was not interested in working on a Saturday afternoon. She finished my brows in the usual amount of time, but I had to spend a good five minutes when I got back to the house tweezing; she had left quite a few stray hairs for me to pluck. The whole point of going in was that I wouldn’t be doing exactly that after leaving. The cost was also $ 2.00 more than what I pay at home for a better job($ 10 vs $ 8 respectively). My experience could have been worse, but I don’t expect them to last — much like most businesses in the Mall of Monroe.
