I’ve been here a dozen times with coworkers. The food is decent. The past few times entrees have come out cold and at different times. Mushroom ravioli was tasty but drowned in watery Alfredo sauce. Grilled chicken was sparse and chewy. Salad came out 30 seconds before our food. During our last visit there was a table of older people, I’m assuming the owner and family/friends based on the way they were ordering around the young waitstaff and playing with the TV remotes. It was hard not to hear how condescending and rude these people were to the waitstaff because there was no one else in the restaurant. When I got up to pay the check, I got stared down by everyone at the owners table. Really great customer service guys! My coworkers and I agreed that we will no longer be visiting this restaurant. There are tons of restaurants in the area with higher quality food and MUCH better customer service. Don’t waste your money.

The food was tasty but the service was beyond horrible. It took almost an hour to get two pizzas and by the time we got them, my son’s pizza was freezing cold. The waitress though was very kind.

Came here randomly, we are not familiar with the area and had no idea where to eat. We did not regret it. Our salad was excellent, large enough for two, with room for pizza. The crust on the pizza was perfect, not burnt or too crispy. Very good!

Been eating at PizzaLand for over 30 years and the place is great for Pizza, home made Italian food and homemade soups. Very friendly staff.

Negative stars needed!!! Older woman says she is the owner… miserable! We ordered bacon pizza, we questioned and complained about it. She greeted us with 1) being mad 2) annoyed 3) worst customer service ever. She stood over my 7 yr old hollering at me about the order.(She has a sensory issue with noises, etc.)I asked her to back up a little and I was told I needed to back up, as I sat in my chair in the corner of room at large round table, surrounded by my 2 daughters(7&9) and my younger sister. I am 44 yrs old and will tell any & everyone I know about my 3rd terrible experience at this restaurant(in greater detail) We left, I never got a chance to eat, daughter upset. Such a shame!!! Sitting at E.R. because they put food in an order that was not asked for and then blamed us because we complained. I really wanted to enjoy our experience here because they are a kid friendly place. Sometimes a negative owner should NOT be upfront & personal with customers. HORRIBLE… left our meal and will not try again!!!

I have been eating at McGowan’s pizza for 20+ years. The food is excellent. My family and I get pizza there at least once a month. Family owned and operated.

The food COULD be worthy of five Michelin stars — and it clearly ISN’T — and the service or lack thereof would still be wholly unacceptable. Pretty sad when the owner is waiting on your table.

I was brought here by one of the regulars(my pastor) for a late dinner and some«table fellowship». The restaurant is a family-run place with an excellent italian menu, and some really great specials. The place is small — probably not a good idea for group — but all the food is delicious and well-made. Definitely worth a visit!

Very disappointed with this restaurant — what is going on? Been coming here for about 10 years. The food and service used to be great but all has gone downhill year after year. Once a year ago we went and my son ordered a Caesar Salad — the salad and Bowl was hot! not warm but HOT. We asked the waitress why it was hot and she said the bowls just came out of the dishwasher. I said well why would you serve a crisp cold salad such as Caesar with the dressing practically boiling HOT. She said«oh well» sorry. Just recently we went because it was a last minute thing with the kids for a quick bite. We sat down and waited for 5 minutes before anyone even realized we were there.(only 4 tables were full) We ordered the Fried Calamari and it was not even crispy. It was thrown in the microwave and reheated. It came with a enough sauce to drown a small dog. My son ordered the Chicken Florentine special. It looked like the chicken was boiled in Lemon Juice — tasted like it was too. It didn’t even have any color. It was just white chicken breast nuked in microwave with lemon juice — horrible. I ordered the Fresh Clam Pizza — let me tell you, pizza used to be good, it wasn’t fresh clams they were canned and very chewy. How about this — Macaroni and Cheese Bites — sounds good right? well it wasn’t sine they were the size of a nickel and for $ 4 for 8 bites out of box of Mac and Cheese Bites you would think it would be homemade. I don’t expect this place to stay open for much longer — the staff even looks like they don’t even care anymore anyway.

The Pizza and food is excellent. The service when you sit down can be a little slow at times, but it’s not something that is a problem for me. If I’m in a hurry, I do take out.

My only experience with McGowan’s restaurant is lunch take-out. Our office will phone in the orders… it’s always ready on time and everything I’ve tried is fresh and delicious. The pizza is just right… not too thick or thin. Our favorites are the Margherita pizza or the Breaded Eggplant pie. Salads are generous & tasty which include romaine lettuce(I hate iceburg), cheese chunks, a variety of olives, tomatoes, cukes, red onions, peppers, etc. The grilled shrimp on a salad looks great too, I may get that next time. Took one star off because I’m not tempted to dine within the establishment. The décor is dated and there is very little natural light inside, creating a gloomy atmosphere. Overall, the food is great, the staff is polite and the establishment is clean. I’ll remain a regular take-out customer!
