I have been to Milo’s twice now (I rarely make it to Monroe), and both times I have really enjoyed the food and service. These people are true professionals who really, really care about every detail of what they create and how they engage patrons. They are very warm and friendly, and they care about the quality of your experience. The food is excellent, and served in good sized portions, with various platings (one meat and two or three, two meats and three, etc) to suit your liking. Absolutely nothing is from a can (you can tell, but I asked anyway to make sure), and they are fearless with seasoning (most restaurants are so bland with their vegetables!), so when you take a forkful of tender green beans that has been seasoned to perfection, or you bite into perfectly cooked cabbage with just the faintest hint of herbs, it should come as no surprise. This is the only restaurant I want to patronize when I’m in Monroe. Bravo, maestri!

Just ate here. Extremely friendly atmosphere and food is fantastic. Recommend the pork with digon cream sauce. The chocolate madness just blew my diet. It was well worth it.

Milo’s is the perfect place to have a dinner at home… and not be at your own house! Each time my husband and I visit we have had an amazing meal and I leave thinking «How come I can’t cook like that?» Good reason, the expertise at Milo’s is delicious.
I highly recommend going on Sunday for brunch/​lunch. It is a buffet and you have your choice of one meat/​2 veggies or 2 meats/​3 veggies. Once you get in the line there are so many options you won’t want to miss out on any. I had the pork tenderloin and baked chicken. Both were juicy and moist, nothing dried about any 9f it. The vegetables were so hard to choose but I settled finally on the collards, mashed potatoes, and butter beans. I topped it off with a glass of sweet tea and I was set. Husband had the meatloaf and we both admitted it might be better than my prize-​winner.
On other nights, enjoy a full menu of contemporary American and each dish is better than home — the entire team in the establishment are true pros!

My husband, 2 friends and I ate at Milo’s for the first time and it was wonderful! Our meals were prepared beautifully and were delicious. I ordered the coconut lime shrimp. The large bountiful shrimp were prepared perfectly and the sauce was to die for! The service was superb. Our waitress was attentive and very sweet. We will return to try the other tempting items on the menu No alcohol but that will not deter us!

My family ate at Milo’s for the first time yesterday for lunch and were blown away by the quality of the food and service. Mom & had the four veggie lunch plate… spicy cabbage, garlic potatoes, pinto beans, and seasoned zucchini, served with the best cornbread I’ve had in a while. The kids had the grilled cheese and fries and were very happy. The portions were enough to take some home, and the service was warm and friendly. The ambiance is lovely… we will definitely be back to try breakfast.

My wife and I truly enjoyed our time at Milo’s Bistro and Restaurant. The food was great. We love Chef Gerald DeBerry’s flavor and artist presentation of food. So happy to have a family restaurant in Monroe with great ambiance, friendly service, and great food at great price.

«Don’t judge a book by the cover». My husband and I were told by friends, of a wonderful new restaurant in Monroe, GA. I couldn’t remember the name, and was searching for restaurants while he drove. He vocalized the names of all eating establishments as we drove by. BINGO when he said Milo’s! We turned around and went back. Milo’s is in a store front, reminiscent of a grocery store, and I felt sure I was mistaken. He got out to view their menu, came back to the car saying «We’re eating here!» We LOVED the food, the owners and the friendliness of everyone. We habitually drive 25 miles each way to eat here, and make a detour when in close proximity. We like everything about MILO’s Restaurant and Bistro.

My wife and I celebrated our anniversary today at Milo’s Restaurant and Bistro. If you want five star dining at an affordable price, Milos is the place for you. The friendly staff is very attentive and eager to assist. We both were surprised and amazed at the classy presentation of our food and the bold flavors knocked our socks off. The food was excellent. They are not just a fine dining experience. They have daily lunch specials including sandwiches served with fries, salads and deserts. Lunch Tuesday –Friday 11 – 3. Sunday 11 – 3:30. Everything I have tried here has elevated flavors and never fails to surprise us. They also have a big breakfast menu served Tuesday-​Friday 7 – 10:30am Saturday 7−11am. Can’t wait to try breakfast. It is located on South Broad Street next to John’s Supermarket in Monroe. Glad to see this classy new bistro in Monroe. Check it out!
