I love this place, the food is Boardwalk fare and perfect for a summer afternoon. Love getting a dog and splitting some sides with the husband. Miss the knish, but the Mac and cheese bites are pretty damn good. Falafel was great, and the sausage sandwich is my favorite when they have it on the menu. Just wish they were open later.

We love this place. Good food, good value. The folks who own it could not be nicer or more accommodating. This is a regular place for us, and our kids love it.

Hot dogs are either boiled or microwaved. YUCK, Too much ‘snap’ to the dogs and they aren’t grilled so I’m not a fan. The homemade chili topping is very good and so are the fried mac&cheese bites.

Today is National Hot dog Day so I thought I would head down to NY Hot Dog (which I’ve heard VERY good things about) with my sons to try it out.
The owner was very friendly and personable. We let him suggest what we should order and we couldn’t have been happier with the dogs. Everything was top quality and very tasty.
If you’re looking for delicious, reasonably priced food in a 50’s décor highly recommend NY Hot Dog!

Good people and affordable hot dogs. They have an ATM machine there, no bathroom, and indoor and outdoor seating. I enjoy their home made chilli. YUM.

Board Head natural casing hot dogs.
The chili is homemade. They have many toppings. Good and cheap. Nice owners.
The inside is very charming and nostalgic.

Very tasty comfort food: spicy sausage cooked to perfection, mouth-​watering «home made» onion sauce, fresh bun, onion rings done just right (not too dry, not too dripping). Loved the old school look with stools and counters along side.
