Pat Catan’s Craft Center

Being a scrapbooker, I’m always on the lookout for new places to shop and get my craft on. I found Pat Catan’s by going to a few scrapbooking events, and they always have a booth with tons of stuff set up for sale. I’ve had them book marked for a while now, and since the weather’s getting nice, I figured I would swing down and check them out, despite the long drive. This is their only store in Michigan, so I had to see what it was all about.
Walking in, it was huge! Large, well lit clean isles with room to shop and move around. Its literally twice the size of any Joann’s or Michael’s that I have been in to, along with twice the selection. I walked the whole store, and if they don’t have it here, then it must not exist. Things for painting, crafting, fabrics. You name it, they have it. Prices are totally on target, and the selection is amazing. I found some scrapbook page refills here for $ 5, becuase I didn’t need a zillon from Amazon. I also picked up some stickers along with ribbon as well since I was on a spree.
The store is well lit, CLEAN, well laid out and overall an awesome exprience. Even though this place is totally out of the way for me, it’s worth a drive once or twice a year to shop, stock up on stuff and get things done. I’m glad I went!
