I love this place, breakfast is awesome, lunch is even better. They have different home cooked specials every day. I don’t even bother looking at the menu, I just order the special (seriously the food is that good). They even cater events, I’ve had sandwich platters sent to my son’s school several times. You want excellent food at really good prices this is the place for you.

Have been there a few times with my husband and all was well til I went in by myself. Lady must have been having a crappie day, but that is no reason to give me an attitude when I ordered, when I got my food and when I paid. Ànd the food was not up to par. One place that is not getting any more business from us. At least say Thank You.

I liked this place for many reasons, but it’s not a 5-​star restaurant. I’d really give it 3 ½. Square 1 Deli is attached to Laura Ann Farms and has a very modest appearance inside and out.
The service and friendliness of the staff and other patrons reminded me of what Monroe was like 25 years ago.
The breakfast menu was varied and the prices are really good. I enjoyed a huge combination platter that had eggs, hash browns, bacon & French toast. Our party also had a cheese omelet which was good, but could have had a little more cheese in it. The coffee was delish!
I would definitely come back if I’m in the area.

This is by far the best place to go for breakfast in this area. I’ve never tried the sandwiches or anything else for lunch, but the omelets are exceptional. The service is really nice and the prices are great.

The best eatery here in Monroe. Delicious breakfast and lunch.. My pancakes were amazing. My husband had home fries with eggs, French toast and bacon. Come with a big appetite. Definitely will continue to come here with my family. I will give it 5 stars!!! Yummy!

Awesome breakfast sandwiches and lunch sandwiches. Got 6 ft heroes for parties on more than one occasion. Everything was always perfect and delicious. Great coffee too.

If you are looking for a good, quick meal that gives large homemade portions at a great price, this is the place. Great meat and cheese omelet. Also has an omelet challenge that can make the meal free, Defiantly doable. Doesn’t look good from the outside, in fact hardly noticeable but worth finding for sure. Bucket list place

Easily the best breakfast place in Monroe. Amazing Reuben sandwiches, great breakfast potatoes, the French toast is delicious, the Coney island is my wife’s favorite sandwich, and most important the coffee is really good. The owner is super friendly, even if you’re not there to sit down and eat breakfast it’s great to pick up a sandwich for lunch. For us with four kids the most important part aside from the great food is that it’s affordable, especially when compared to places like the local diner where food is below average and they just raised the prices.
