Walking past, you catch a nice whiff. It’s not overwhelmingly nice, but pleasant nonetheless. You can choose two menu items — bourbon chicken on rice or bourbon chicken on noodles. I believe the owner mentioned an option to have it on a bun, too. Bourbon chicken is an item usually seen in the shopping mall Chinese booths or other Chinese buffets, but this one tastes significantly different. On my first trip, I tried it on rice. It’s a seasoned rice. Usually I dislike seasoned rice, but this one was really pleasant. There’s that word again — pleasant. To be honest, this place deserves roughly a 4-rating at best. Who are we kidding here? Flea market ambiance??? However, the large serving portion for $ 8 was huge! I stuffed myself on only half of it. I put the rest in the refrigerator, and reheated it about 7 hours later. Something magical happened in those 7 hours! The former good taste magnified by 10 times into a phenomenal taste!!! On my next trip, I’ll be sure to get some fresh for the superb experience, and extra to take home for the extra superb experience to be shared with others later!
