Not a single friendly course. Time and again I come with a confirmed time booked only be told its been moved 30, 45 or 60 minutes later. Staff apologizes, pleads ignorance or blames it on a computer glitch. They could at give notice beforehand that your time has been changed so one could have the option to cancel. Last time they will disregard my confirmed time and my golfing dollar. Too many other area courses that honor booked times.

Great layout super challenging been coming here for years … Only complaint is horrible manager and change of chef … Food options have become less than good and service is less than good

Course is excellent… bar and food are great… pace of play is the MAJOR problem… I used to play here once a week now I’m down to 4 times a year. I really love the course and would like to play here more often but my golf buddies refuse to constantly subject themselves to 5+ hour rounds. Tee’d off 9am this past Sunday finished 2:05 pm… we saw plenty of course rangers who were doing what they could but was just too late. there’s no way to speed pace of play once you lose it… better and more strict pace of play rules definitely need to be put in effect here…

Great course, beautiful views, great mix of twists, turns and elevation changes. Greens were true and fast, fairways were in great shape. Sand traps were a bit light on sand, one trap i hit a 10″ boulder 1″ down. If it wasn’t for that, I would have given course a 5 rating

Love this course. Jack Nicolas design has spectacular mountain vista views, wonderful up and down elevation changes, undulating fairways that meander through, woods, meadows, over ponds, around rock walls, over bridges and all kinds of other fun stuff. Challenging layout. Thick fescue grass eats balls. Very nice clubhouse and friendly staff throughout.
Won money from my High school and college buddies. Can’t wait to go back.

Troon Golf has done a great job at renovating the clubhouse and golf course. Tee times are spaced at 10 minutes apart and seemed to have helped with pace of play. Greens were a little bumpy and slower than usual, but overall the course is in good shape.

Should be a 5 based on layout and setting. Course was spectacular on an autumn day. 6 hour rounds don’t cut it though. wouldn’t consider again for a weekend round.

This course was great when it first opened but fell into terrible conditions for several years. I went back this year hearing good things and was pleasantly surprised at how well the course conditions were. Greens ran true and relatively quick and the fairways were in good condition. Bunkers were inconsistent. Layout is awesome if you like a challenge as every tee shot requires a decent carry.
Definitely check if there is an outing prior to going since it can get very slow. There are no Rangers on the course to help with slow play.
Great challenging layout, good deals online, but can be a long round.

Still the same great lay out poor management. This time range under maintenance (they ran out of balls for the season ITS JULY ! Bunkers like cement !!! For $ 99 think not

Beautiful course! Very challenging, well maintained. I don’t think I’ve been to any other course that could beat this one.
