I love this place, the lady is nice and social food is perfect, nice and fast service as well, the drinks are even the best and has comfort seating for all, I would say this place is great for families and friends

We ordered takeout from Tokyo Teriyaki and Wok. It was wonderful! Their food was awesome, and I like that they had sushi in addition to teriyaki. The owner was incredibly sweet, my fiancé said that she was really friendly and even gave him some potstickers to try while he waited. We will definitely be back!

I wish I could give this place 10STARS! This is by far THWBEST Teriyaki restaurant I have EVER been to. I do not live in Monroe and only have been here a handful of times over the past 5 years. Not kidding only 3 – 4 times in 5 years and EVERYTIME the Lady owner remembers who I am and welcomes me with a huge smile on her face. No matter who I bring in she goes ABOVEANDBEYOND to make our meal so enjoyable and will sit and talk with you. She’s the sweetest woman and I love coming here to talk to her. Good prices, lots of food and it’s delicious! If you live in Monroe this should be your one and only Teriyaki place. If you don’t live here and are coming through or got done boarding/skiing EATHERE!

I’ve eaten at a couple of these places and every restaurant in this franchise is a bio Hazzard waiting to happen. Eat at your own risk. You have been warned.

I have eaten at most of the teriyaki places around the area I would have to rate this joint 2 stars because it was just all around below what I was expecting. The pot stickers were meh and the rest the same. Eat here if you just don’t want to drive anywhere else.

We have been going to this restaurant since it opened. The lady at the counter is friendly and will offer gyoza/pot sticker for those who are waiting. The food is ok, but it seems that the microwave is used a lot more than when they started and therefore the warmed food tends to be dried out, on top of what others have noticed to be well cooked. Some of the food is also a bit more aged than it should be. We have slowed our purchases of both teriyaki and sushi because of these issues, but the California roll is usually a very safe and tasty choice at this place. Recently we tried sushi again, but were really disappointed with the salmon sushi which was definitely not fresh and the eel was ok but not as fresh as it should be! The miso soup is great and that seems to be what is left for us to order there besides the steamed rice and CA roll with ginger of course. I have also noticed that the menu prices are usually $something.99 but get rounded up to the next $.00 each time. Also be careful about thinking that if the picture above the cash register shows a full meal that you will get that, like with the tempura it is only by the piece and you have to order the meal combo to get rice and salad(as shown). These are things to be aware of but I do know they have a good following of clients so there are others who have found food there that they like too.

Great food, very friendly owners. I highly recommend this restaurant. I’m confused about the one poor review on Unilocal. It sounds like the reviewer was either very bad at math or honestly expected an order of fried rice to be free. Neither of those things seem to be a fair reason for a poor review.

Lady at the register was very nice and friendly, the wait wasn’t to long and she did give me a free sample of their pot stickers which was good. Chicken teriyaki was ok. Not the best I’ve had but was still good.

We love Esther! We always feel like we are VIPs each time we come in. She treats everyone to fresh potstickers and always has a smile. The food is great and reasonably priced. We’re very satisfied with the place.

I would not recommend this place. The prices are good, but this is the worst teriyaki place I have been to in the Monroe/Snohomish area. My family got takeout and split the pork and chicken teriyaki and chicken katsu. The teriyaki was a little charred but average and the rice was good. However there was no complimentary salad. The Katsu was literally like jerky. It was oily and tough and tasted like it had been recooked from a couple days ago. If you choose to go here make sure not to get the Katsu unless you know that it is fresh. This was my first and last time going to this restaurant. For those reading that choose to go I sincerely hope that you have better, fresher food.

Stopped by for a quick lunch. Was spending some time looking at the menu so the pleasant woman behind the counter offered me a pot sticker which was delicious! Decided on a combo chicken and pot sticker combo for $ 6.75 which seemed reasonable… and water to drink. I handed her a $ 10.00 bill and she pushed the button on cash register to open the drawer and handed me back a quarter! I said what about the price and she got grumpy and said it was because I got the fried rice. It was OK but not worth 10 bucks! Should have asked for a receipt. Did she charge me for a water? Something wasn’t right and I felt ripped off.

Super good teriyaki. The place is very clean and open with lots of available seating. The Gyoza was pretty good, but the teriyaki was great. Can’t wait to try the sushi! But the owners here are honestly some of the nicest people I have ever met coming to a teriyaki joint!!!

This is my favorite Teriyaki place in Monroe. Usually come in later in the evening and order take out, the owners are super nice and friendly, especially the lady. Had several items off the menu, the portions are always generous ready quickly.
