Waffle House

Terrible service as well as food, it is «Waffle House» I understand that but it’s all about location and this location isn’t worth it. Go elsewhere!

AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL. The place was discusting.Filthy.The cooks do not wear gloves. The food sits until it’s cold and all the employees go smoke every 10 minutes. I overheard them saying there hasn’t been hot water in the dish pit for months! No. Just no.

This particular Waffle house has gotten over 90% of my WH business. I’ve only been to two other Waffle Houses. Typically, I go on the weekends for breakfast/​lunch. The staff is great. The food tends to be a hit or miss. I may order a dry biscuit and get it buttered. Or I order a side of sausage gravy and it’ll be forgotten. But it’s nothing that isn’t rectified immediately and without question.
I find that going there at night time is a bigger risk. The last time, I went on a Saturday night and there were no more than three other parties. There were two waitresses and a cook. Our waitress seemed okay in the beginning, but she soon revealed her true colors.
When she delivered our food, she left before we could get a drink refill. Not a big deal. Later, a friend ordered a single slice of pie and sat waiting for over five minutes. We would look longingly at the plates of pie in the mini-​fridge that faced our booth. Eventually, our waitress came back with no recollection of her pie order. She ordered it again. It took another five minutes to get it to our table. By that time, she didn’t want it and sent it back. Our waitress complained in front of every customer when she had to get approval for the change.
At one point, we piled all the used dishes to be collected but our waitress loudly joked that she didn’t want them and refused to collect them from the table. Then, when asked by the other waitress if she would wash the dishes, she joked that she didn’t want to wash dishes, ever! It’s one thing to joke, but it’s another thing to do it in front of customers who experienced her service firsthand. It makes me think she’s not joking and that she genuinely doesn’t care about her service or doing the work required of her.
I sent a complaint to Waffle House Corporate a month ago but never received a response.
This won’t keep me from going back. I just won’t go back if the same waitress is there.

It’s a hit or miss on Waffle Houses but this one is usually a great one to visit. I know there are times that you might get someone not 100% into their job but 90% of my visits here have been great! I love my hash browns potato chip crispy and they make it that way! Interested in trying something that is different but O so good? Check out my photo’s about this place. I now have a usual their but you wont find it on the menu!
