Awesome pedicures! And reasonably priced. They really get all of the dead skin off and they last forever. I don’t have to make an appointment either.

This place is horrible. If you call and make an appointment they will pretend you have an appointment but they just say yes to everyone to try to get more business. I made an appointment for a mani pedi. When I arrived, they put me in a pedicure chair and acted like they were going to start my pedicure by starting the water. They let me sit there with my feet in the water for 40 minutes. Finally I asked when they were going to start on me, and I offered to go run errands bc I could tell it was going to be a while, I came back 30 minutes later and the same thing happened. They sat me but none came to start my mani or pedi. I walked out. Thank you L&C nail spa for wasting over an hour and a half of my life and letting me walk out with broken nails.

I have gone to L and C for almost a year and they did a great job. However, over the last few months the quality went downhill. I always get a gel mani and a polish change or pedi. My nails looked horrible! They were chipping after a few days and weren’t even polished all the way. The worst experience was I had a gel mani done on a Saturday and one of the nails completely fell off Sunday! I went back Monday after work to have it fixed and no I’m sorry just kept saying who did your nails. The staff rushes if there is anyone waiting and even if you make an appointment they will take walk ins before you! I would not recommend this nail salon at all. Very poor quality!

I’ve tried this place twice. The pedicure I had was meh. It wasn’t rushed, but there was no effort in making the experience relaxing or spa-like. If you like«wham-bam-now-get-out» service, then stop her for a pedicure. Now the gel nail experience I had was awful. I’m cringing as I type this because my fingertips are so tender. My nail beds were over drilled, the tips are thick as a dinner plate, and uneven, and the shape is a hideous square that is much wider than my nail bed. I can’t even tell you who did this to me because she didn’t introduce herself. By the way, her nails looked awful. I should have ran away when they brought that drill out. The shop itself is dingy and very 90s. You’ve been warned.

I did not tip… that’s how you know the service was bad. They are not friendly, they do not take their time to take care of the customer. My nails were not done nicely and the guy seemed to act like he didn’t care about his job. My sister got a gel mani and they rushed to do it and had to start over. Good thing I’m not from PA, because I will never go back here again.

I’ve been here twice. The first time the manicure was just ok. I had yet to find a good nail place in the area so I went back. I always get a gel manicure. My nail tech said she had to leave and left giggling with a friend before my manicure was done. Seemed like they decided to go out instead of work. Ok… So someone else took over. I have no idea what they did wrong, but after 10+ minutes under the UV light, she said I was good to go. Normally after the final coat, it’s just a minute or two. Got in the car and my nails were still wet. I’ve never had anything like it in gel nails. Normally I can stretch my gel manicure 2 – 3 weeks. This looked awful and was peeling in under 2 weeks. I won’t go back and do not recommend this place. Still looking!

Well, here’s another beauty-type review, simply because I’m either too lazy or too ignorant to make my body look presentable by myself. L&C Nail Spa is the perfect place to get quick, relatively cheap, and always perfect, nails. They can service you with gel, acrylics, regular manicures, and pedicures. They also do decent brow waxing. True, the shop isn’t very much to look at. I daresay it even looks a bit untidy. But the instruments are always clean and the manicurists are nice, quick, and professional. I will caution that sometimes complex requests may be lost in translation if you aren’t absolutely clear about what you want. Overall, I’ve never been unhappy with a service from L&C. They are getting my «maximum-for-chick-stuff» four stars. One helpful note, this business takes credit/debit cards but does NOT allow you to put tips on the card. So bring a bit of cash!

Prices are good, but that’s about the only thing I liked. Technicians are careless, and several of them had dirty unkempt nails.(A little ironic for a nail salon, no?) The technician had to be asked to cut my nails… and when i asked, my request felt like an imposition. The place is in urgent need of better ventilation — the smell of chemicals is overpowering. Fast Nails(more or less across the street on William Penn) is a much better bet.,
