Nice people, but they only take cash, so come prepared. Nice selection, nice plants, they helped me put the trees I got in the back of my car. Knowledgable about what they have and what will work in different areas. They also send a selection of plants to the Montrose Sunday Farmer’s Market, so if there is something you want and you can’t drive out to their place, call and ask them to bring it on Sunday. I highly reccomend!

Just stopped by today to check out their variety of plants. From the outside, the place looks small but once you get inside they have a huge variety of plants. The owner Federico is very nice and knowledgable. I bought several drought-​resistant plants, the prices are cheaper than other nurseries in the area. Im planning to come back to get more.

What a hidden gem! I was looking for a nursery that sold Japanese maple trees, because I didn’t have any luck at chain garden centers like Home Depot, Lowes or Armstrong. After reading the great reviews on Unilocal,I called ahead to inquire about their selection, and was thrilled that they carried what I was looking for! The nursery is not large by any means. I would not think to stop there if I drove by it. It is family owned and carries lots of plants you won’t find in typical garden centers. The owner was very knowledgeable and helpful… and takes great pride in his work. I wanted to get more than I came for, but it wouldn’t fit in my small car. I told the owner that next time I’m bringing a truck! Lol. I got a great Japanese maple tree at a very affordable price. I’m all for supporting small local businesses like these. I will definitely be back!

Gonzalez Nursery is a family own business and has been open for 18 years, providing the best prices for your garden. Please stop or call to see beautiful variety of plants this nursery has to offer. Their are plenty of fruit trees such as: Hass Avocado, Fuji and Anna Apple trees, variety of Asian plants, and palm trees. There are plenty of hibiscus, roses, impatiens flowers, and various herbal plants for cooking.
