***Breakfast is delicious*** The food here is either really delicious or meh. So I’m not surprised at the 3 star overall rating. This place is an awesome place to grab a beer and some dinner after work. I come here with mu family and we don’t feel out of place at all. The service here is amazing! Everyone is working their butts off making sure your order is right and that you know when to expect your order. I’ve been coming here for the last three years… Mainly on taco Tuesdays. Yes this place has great Mexican food. I highly recommend the lengua tacos, their micheladas, and their breakfast! *pictured They also have great food for kids. Their pizza is surprisingly delicious. They also have tater. tots. *Taco Tuesdays tend to get crowded after 7pm.

I’ll give the food and drinks three stars but I give the atmosphere one half star. It’s a Friday evening during the NBA finals and I’ve seen nothing but what looks like«the regulars» monopolizing the seats at the bar that they aren’t even using, and actually saying to their pals«I tried to save this seat for you» in the face of another paying customer… I hope they spend a lot!

Comfortable place. Like the wedge salad, wife loves the sliders. Trivia nights are pretty fun. Drinks are on the strong side, but that’s fine by me.

I came her for dinner with my girlfriend and we ordered the chicken sandwich and the molitas it was so yummy and we loved it so much we asked to thank the chef in person. Brian the chef was very friendly and professional, the service was great and they had a wide variety of beers. Looking forward to coming here often, it’s good place for lunch or dinner or for a date night!

Here for Happy Hour. Ordered the garlic fries and they were obviously second hand fries. Meaning they’ve been sitting there and refried. Complained and was brought back the same fries refried x3. Plus blond bar tender had a bad attitude after the complaint. BTW. Cindy. Don’t waist your time and money

Firstly, the name«London Pub» is totally unfitting for this place, seeing as the only British thing they had on their menu is fish and chips. Their menu consists mostly of Mexican food and some American items, like burgers. But that’s it. I had the BBQ burger, and it was good, I just wish the buns were proportional to the amount of meat and lettuce they give you. The whole thing fell apart in 2 mins and became super messy to eat. Their ranch chipotle fries were pretty good, as was their Hemingway cocktail. Very sour but tasty. My friend’s chicken sandwich was good, and service was not too bad, considering there was a single girl for the entire place. I felt bad for her, but we never got refills, while the gentleman in front of us kept getting beer and soda refills. I don’t know that it’s worth coming back to, especially because there are better burger places out there, with better service.

It’s a small spot for this area, lots of hipsters and mixes of people that can’t hold their alcohol… other than that, cool spot. I have came here twice.

I went here for lunch and service was fast but food was alright. I ordered the pozole and it comes with chips. I heard the fish tacos weren’t that tasty. But the plus is that there is outdoor seating for your dogs!

I came here with a girlfriend because we needed a beer, which is what we got. She ordered the chicken nachos and I ordered a lettuce wrapped burger(I have food allergies) with garlic fries. Everything was incredible. The service was fast and friendly and the food was perfect. The music was a little loud, but I suppose that is to be expected as it got later and the pub got busier. We were happy to have picked this place for dinner!

Absolutely love this place! Their Sunday Fundaze are amazing, $ 5 breakfast specials on Saturday & Sunday as well and drink specials. Taco Tuesday’s are awesome! $ 1-$ 2 tacos, $ 3 Mexican beers & $ 3 tequila shots. A few of the waitresses are moody but all in all, this place rocks!

So three reasons for three stars . 1.) cheap drinks 2.) bitchy face waitresses(like your bothering them to do their job) 3.) not very attentive On a side note at least some of them are cute.

Idk what people are talking about in their reviews. The Staff is cool. Got my food fast. Beer on tap and the selection is delicious. Came in here for the Vikings packers game.(damn vikings are losing so far grrrrrrr!!!) Was greeted immediately by Monique. Was served immediately. She was on top of beers when low, on top of water and the food. The wait on the food was almost nothing. For a good time good beer friendly staff and good food come in.

I usually go here for lunch since that is when their isn’t really a massive crowd so I enjoy my beer and my small plate of food in peace. The beer is served extremely cold every single time and it is excellent. When I order my food I always just get boneless buffalo wings since they’re simple to make and hard to screw up, I have no problem with the food, it’s excellent. But it takes a little too long for them to make. So when you come here don’t expect to get food really fast.

Decent staff, decent service(slightly understaffed), I like the useless«edison bulbs» but not the perpetually sticky tables. The fish and chips was surprisingly decent. As a brit I eat fish and chips all the time at home, even here in the US and the Fish and Chips at London Gastropub were good. I’d come back but not as a go-to.

I think to throw in the word gastropub gets thrown around a lot when it really shouldn’t be. A gastropub means it is a place with that serves elevated food and drink, typically the traditional pub food but at a higher level. Saying you are a gastropub does not make it so. The first time we came here I must have blocked out from being so bad, because honestly I had no memory of it. I know we only had beer though, so it wasn’t too bad. My fiancé then took his parents here for dinner and they almost left because of how bad it was. We found ourselves in the area again(and having not learned our lesson) we decided to pop in for a quick beer as it was happy hour. As soon as I sat down I remembered why I didn’t like this place. It had sort of a dingy feel without the charm of a dive bar. The music felt like it belonged more in a club then a «pub.» It felt like the pub wasn’t sure what it was trying to be. The service was also a joke. Our waitress seemed to be more about show then substance. She knew little about the beers they had on tap and would just disappear/ignore us. It wasn’t even busy, so there was no excuse for the bad service. The food was meh. We got a sausage plate thing. It was cut up sausage on a plate, pretty simple. It was decent, but hardly tasted made in house. It was also nothing that I would call gastropub like. It was simple(probably store bough) sausage, cooked, and served on a plate. There was nothing elevated about it. It seems like they use the word gastropub to attract a certain patron and to charge certain prices. The reality is that they could be a halfway decent PUB. Loose the club music, get competent waitresses(who are more than just eye candy), and stop pretending that this is anything other then a pub. Where I went to college there was a great Irish pub that did very well. They did well because they embraced what a pub was; a place to hangout, have some beer, and eat pub food. 77⁄100

We ordered 3 specialty cocktail and 3 appetizers. It was a Friday evening and the pub was decently busy. The cocktails were ok and fish and chips arrived first. The batter was soggy and the French Fries tasted like McDonald’s. We waited 40 mins(addressed to the waitress about our time crunch) for the next 2 items to appear which the pig ears were over fried and burnt, not edible. And the fish tacos were pretty much identical to our fish and chips. Just wrapped in a soggy tortilla. We left the waitress an acceptable tip because it’s not her fault that the pub was under staffed on a Friday night. But the kitchen should be more prepared for business.

This is more of a 3.75, but I rounded up because they host trivia nights on Wednesdays, and I love me a good trivia night. This place has good service and a nice vibe. The food isn’t bad, but the menu doesn’t have many options. I guess that’s to be expected from a gastropub though. They have a good selection of beers on tap, making them a great nighttime spot in the area(especially since there isn’t much else open past 10 in Monrovia on a weekday. I must say the flat breads are very good. The carne asada flatbread is worth going for on its own. I had the turkey sandwich as my main course. It was a bit heavy for me(a bit too oily) but the flavor was good. I’m definitely going back here, but will probably try to find lighter fare next time. Stay Cheerful ;)

On Thursday, I started my day of birth festivities early, and visited the LGP for the first time in a while. In three words: Happy Hour is Back! Ok, that’s four words, but the sentiment is worth an encyclopedia of verbiage. Cheap brews on tap, and pretty good bar food at a steal. We went with the«one of each» approach… I especially liked the pork sliders and the boneless hot wings… With plenty of liquid gold to wash it down. Our server, Jordan, was enjoying her first day on the job with our rowdy crew, and she maintained a great smile and jiffy service throughout. With several flat screens mounted high above the bar and around the room, there was something for everyone to watch on the telly. Err, TV. Free parking close by(watch the minute limits as you approach Myrtle) nice service, and it doesn’t smell like a vinegar bottling plant like some other pubs in the 626. Ah’ll be back!!!
