I had my first appointment with Andrea and she just repeated her same speech twice… so sounds like she says the same thing over and over. She didn’t work the full 30 minutes, and when I looked in the mirror after, I couldn’t tell she did anything. I have one more visit with the groupon deal I bought, I’m on the fence. Sadly I had to leave my last electrolysis because I moved and had amazing results with her… so I’m not impressed when I have to compare. She made it clear she’s busy and it’s hard to schedule appointments. If that’s true, then why do you have coupons on groupon!?! It’s a waste of everyone’s time if you can’t make yourself available. She uses disposable gloves and needles, so that’s a plus. But I don’t see very good results coming here. I’m trying to be positive, but she has a attitude and very rude. She made me feel extremely insecure.

My daughters bought this as a groupon gift to try electrolysis hair removal. Andrea, the owner does not usually answer her phone but she is very good at getting to her messages and calling back. I made my appointment with her and was very impressed at her professionalism, her work ethics, and her service. She does NOT waste your time. She is very firm about being on time for your appointment, but the time she spends with you is all work. I will definitely continue to come back to Andrea.

Good solid service. Went on a voucher — continued as a regular client. You do have to book ahead — like all experienced practioners, the schedule does fill up. Generally last minute appointments pretty challenging to get, but sometimes you get lucky. I’ve never had any problems with appointments being less than optimally used. Highly recommend.

I have been going to Andrea (Monrovia Electrolysis) for over 10 years. She is always very professional, knows her field, and is accommodating. I have had only great experiences with her. If I need to change an appointment I call or leave a message.
She returns my calls and is very willing to give me another appointment. I would not go to anyone else. She is the best!!!

DO NOT buy this Living Social deal!!! I had electrolysis done at a different place and had phenomenal results, I thought I would save some money and time by trying Monrovia Electrolysis through Living Social (or Groupon, I can’t remember) and I wish I hadn’t.
Firstly, the office is extremely small, it is relatively clean but Andrea doesn’t take nearly as much time and effort on sanitizing between patients. Secondly, IT’S NEARLY IMPOSSIBLE TO SCHEDULE! I called several times and had no answer. Eventually left a message and she got back to me but she’s the only worker therefore when she’s working on patients she doesn’t pick up the phone. Even when she did call me back I had to make an appointment about a month in advance. Thirdly, Andrea is condescending and inconsiderate. Yes I know I look young but I’m in my mid 20’s and I know what standard customer service is supposed to be. Also when she finds out you have a living social deal she seems to look down on you. When I tried to schedule a second appointment even though my living social deal had ended (but the paid value is still there) she said she would call me back when I wanted to schedule an appointment even if I would have to pay extra on top BUT SHE NEVER DID! Lastly, she doesn’t even work until the full 30 minutes are done! She is obviously just waiting out the clock and even after my treatment there wasn’t a significant hair loss compared to other electrolysis places I have been to.
STAY AWAY! Don’t bother wasting your money here.

Andrea is the best. Good location, great service. I’ve been going regularly for a year, she works very fast. Covers a lot of territory in a visit. Not to mention, she has a very witty fun personality. I highly recommend!

VERY GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE.
I have been going to Monrovia Electrolysis for years and would highly recommend it. I never have a problem getting an appointment unlike Toni V. I just leave a message if no one is available and they get back to me as soon as possible and they set up an appointment as soon as there is one available. I have never had anything but good customer service.
It makes me wonder what happened with poor Toni V. I really don’t understand what could have happened. I know they do everything they can to work people in with the certificates, so it really doesn’t make any sense to me. I know this since I have used the certificates before.
Anyway again I would highly recommend Monrovia Electrolysis.

I have been going to Andrea for almost a year now, and she’s very attentive and really makes an effort to accommodate me with my difficult schedule. She’s very busy, but always returns my calls when I leave a message. I am very pleased with her expertise in this field. I’ve been to other electrologists in the past and she’s definitely in the excellent category — she’s both thorough and fast. When you have a lot of hair, that’s a hard combination to beat! I highly recommend Monrovia electrolysis — can’t say enough good things about them. :)

VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE
I bought a certificate from livingsocial and I was never able to use it. I called several times to make an appt. and they were never available. Their next available appt. would be after my expiration date… but they would not honor my certificate after the experation date.
They said I could use the amount that I paid for the certificate and apply it for any service at full price. Even though they were the ones that were not availalbe. Hmm.
I just find it hard to believe that they were all completely booked until my certificate expired… everyday and every staff person there??? Hmmm. :-\ Sounds a little fishy to me… right?
I’d rather take my loss now and not have to deal with them again.
Sorry, I don’t recommend this place… VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE.
