I came here to visit a new doctor, since I’m new to the area. The office is conveniently located in Old Town Monrovia and I didn’t have any difficulty finding parking. The office is for two different doctors and technically, I never saw either one of them, but the NP was very knowledgeable and friendly. I made an appointment and got there a few minutes early to fill out my paperwork. I was waiting for about 30 minutes and still hadn’t seen anyone. So, I asked the lady at the front desk and she said it would probably be another 30 minutes– really??? With an appointment!?! I had to call and push back plans and run back to my place to pick up a few things, so I could leave straight from the appointment. Since my initial appointment, I did come back for a check up(with an appointment) and it was much faster. Maybe it was just a bad day? Not sure. Either way, make sure to have an appointment, arrive early, and possibly wait. Other than that everyone was very friendly and helpful and the NP that I saw was very knowledgeable, as well.

Évaluation du lieu : 4 Monrovia, CA
There’s actually another Unilocal review of this location, but listed under the doctor’s name( ). Since I always refer to the location rather than the physician, I’m writing my review here. My medical plan had originally assigned my primary care provider in a location that would take me 40 minutes to drive to, which is just insane. I eventually decided to change to a more local physician, with this being the closest location. I’ve been here twice thus far. Here are my observations… PARKING — There is no dedicated lot. If you’ve never been to Old Town Monrovia, there’s free public parking. There are lots scattered throughout, as well as street parking. Just make sure you pay attention to the time limits. SCHEDULING — Schedule your appointments ASAP. I’ve tried to make appointments late in the week, and wouldn’t be able to get on their calendar til the week after(and was suggested to go to urgent care if necessary). I don’t believe they accept walk-ins. — Schedule early. The first time I came in, I made an appointment in the afternoon, around 3:15pm. Would be in the waiting room for about an hour 20 minutes before actually being let in. The second visit here, I scheduled for 9:30am, and was able to go see the doctor in about 10 minutes. WAITINGROOM — My previous doctor had a poor receptionist and you would always feel ignored. So maybe it’s because I had to experience that, but it was much better here. — The waiting area is rather spacious. There is AC on and a television that loops health tips, to make your wait somewhat comfortable. DOCTOR — I’ve never actually met Dr. Peter Balacuit, the name that’s out front. I’ve been seen by a Dr. Eddie(forget his last name), so I can only comment on my experience with this doctor. So far, he has been friendly, observant, and thorough in his checkups. He has noticed things that my previous physicians have kinda just brushed off or not noticed. My gripes about the place revolves around scheduling and waiting, but aside from that, I’m glad to have a good doctor looking after my health.
