Really cozy store with a great crop room. Good lighting and comfy chairs. Convenient parking. Fun place to spend a few hours and get some pages done.

Not very happy with this store lately! I called today and made sure of their closing time got in my car from Burbank and dealt with awful traffic to make it there 50 minutes before closing. The doors were looked and a woman proceeded to yell through the door that they were closed early because she had to leave! I got back into my car and proceeded to watch her sit there and eat. Bad business :(id love to say this was the first time… They have lost me forever :(

Excellent selection of paper and supplies. I especially like the unusual«odds and ends” – old magazine ads, playing cards, buttons, and other fun items. And great customer service – I was looking for something they’d sold out of and they were nice enough to direct me to another store and several online options as well. I’ll definitely be back to do more shopping!

First discovered Scarp N’ Yap with my friends when we were walking around Monrovia Street Fair. We decided to stop by, and we ended up finding Scarp book«Heaven». This place has everything you can think of to scarp book! The employees are really sweet and nice. They also offer classes. My friends and I took one of their scrap booking classes a few years ago which was very inexpensive. Since I moved to Orange County, I haven’t been back to this place. From what I can recall they have photography class, which I wanted to take.

This place is just a little hidden gem that I found on accident. This place is located in a small plaza with a bike store. This place has so many, many scrapbooking items. This place has that sweet small owner charm and the employees here are friendly and pretty helpful. There is a room for classes that are offered monthly(card making, cricut classes, etc). I believe this place will also accept a Michael’s coupon, but only on certain days of the month. I think this place is a bit expensive though, but do offer more scarpbooking items than Michael’s, Joann, Wal-mart, etc. This store is very clean and neat. Has a friendly and welcoming vibe. The owner, Elizabeth is very sweet. With good service and selections, it keeps me coming back.

This store carries the latest and a lot of my favorite brands. It’s also nicely organized and kept pretty(which for some reason is so very important to me; nice looking stores always draw me back). I do shop here often. The staff is always friendly and helpful.

I enjoy shopping at the SNY. This store offers a good variety of scrapbook supplies. Over the years Elizabeth has been listening to her customers and keeps bringing in all the new and hot scrapbook items. Scrapbooking is like fashion… there are things that are it, and that which is not. SNY offers a variety of classes and even has crop nights and days for those looking for a place to scrapbook away from home. The addition of there new classroom/crop space has really made the store enjoyable to shop at.

I went there today with a couple things i was looking for: cooper paper, round corner punch, embossing stamp pad, and chandelier. Although they did not have any of the 4 items i was looking for, I continued to search around. Since i made the treck to Stamp N’ Yap, and really didn’t need any scrapbook supplies but ran across a very small item of $ 1.50, as i go to the cash register, i realized I had no more cash, i tried to my CC, and they refused to let me make the CC purchase, i asked them what is the minimum transaction required, and she said there is none, but in my circumstance the purchase is to small. I should’ve stayed with my regular craft location, Scrapbook Buddies.

although this store is smaller than my living room, it’s a great place to hit up for quickutz and bazzill paper products. everyone is always so friendly and willing to help, and although i have no business going in there and spending as much as i do, i can’t wait to go back. after all, it’s almost time to make christmas cards.

I may only be in my 20’s, but I am apparently old at heart. I have been a scrapper since high school but just recently have I begun to indulge. There aren’t too many places to get scrap book supplies at(I do NOT buy supplies at Michael’s if I can avoid it) until now: Scrap N Yap opened in May of 2007 and since then I have been in there about twice a month stocking up on supplies and investing in some heavy duty scrapbooking equipment. There are ALWAYS sales going on(and on Wednesday’s they honor Michael’s coupons). They have great instructors and some pretty awesome classes too! The owner(Elizabeth) is a doll and everyone has always been willing to help me find things or simply look for ideas. I highly recommend this store and won’t drive any further for my scrapbooking supplies.

When it comes to doing«artsy» things like creating a scrapbook page, I am totally clueless. About two weeks ago, I received a bridal shower invitation for a good friend of mine which arrived in a large envelope and contained not only the invite, but — you guessed it — a blank scrapbook page. Before I went into panic mode, I recalled seeing a scrapbooking store in Old Town Monrovia named Scrap N’ Yap. So after looking up their address, I headed over there to see if they could help me with my scrapbook page dilemma. I tell you, going into that store was like diving into an empty swimming pool blindfolded. When I entered, a salesperson greeted me and asked if I needed help with anything. I answered, God, yes. I told her about the bridal shower scrapbook page assignment I had and that I didn’t know where to start. So she took me over to where they have a library of scrapbooks and showed me some sample pages for different occasions like birthdays, new baby, weddings, etc. They were all very impressive! Then she showed me around the store and gave me some ideas on what to do. So I looked at the different background designs, papers, and stickers that they had related to a bridal shower theme. Slowly, I was getting inspired… maybe there was hope for me. I finally picked out a background and some colored paper to use as a matte for the photos I’m gonna use for my page. The salesperson also suggested using a special«dot glue» instead of regular white glue which would make sticking the colored paper and photos to the page a lot easier. Being the klutz that I am, I was more than grateful for her suggestion. I’m so relieved that I came to Scrap N’ Yap for help. If I had gone to Michael’s, I don’t think I would’ve gotten the same kind of attention I did here. Not only did I get the much-needed help, but on that same day, Scrap N’ Yap was also running a special — 25% off all items in the store! SCORE!!! P. S. Once I’ve created the page, I’ll post a photo of it here. :)
