As mentioned the food is good but in operations there is a disconnect. Primary reason I won’t be back… lack of cleanliness and the general disheveled state of their work stations. I first noticed the dinning area floor is filthy and every surface that is publicly used is filthy. Dried food is a hallmark of poor management. The source of the filth on the ground? The line of course since there is food all over the floor from disorganized stations. It is being stepped on and tracked on to some nice hardwood floors. Work stations have zero flow and a lot of misused space. Prepped food totes remain on work surfaces and are not put away or refrigerated. Tape dispenser on the food prep surface since everything is cluttered on the utility areas? Yep why not? SafeServe pratices are not adhered to. Bare unwashed hand in the ice maker bin with a cup? Where’s the scoop and why isn’t the bin closed especially since it’s in the walk way? The prep area in the rear is covered in emptied boxes and not picked up. I didn’t see a sanitizing bucket or even a cloth to clean the prep boards. Where’s the management? One last thing, someone may have a shopping issue the restaurant is covered in knick knacks and an entire shelf dedicated to unframed art and stuff from homegoods. A lot of money is being spent on decore when the yellowing ceiling tiles should be cleaned/replaced and the caked disgusting 3 dollar air filter in the ceiling should be changed.

One of my favorite healthy spots. I always get the warp with either chicken or steak. It’s super yummy and refreshing! Can’t go wrong with this spot if you’re looking for something quick, simple, healthy, and delicious!

I stopped by today for lunch, I purchased a Salad. Not so good, at least not for a $ 10 salad. I know I went right when they closed so technically I got the leftovers but they could of just not served me. Very disappointed.

Pretty good salads and sandwiches. Healthy and beautiful store. Terrible customer line processing. They manually punch in credit cards. It takes 5 – 7 minutes to process each order which is utterly ridiculous. Needs a technology upgrade and some process streamlining to make life easier on customers. I saw at least 5 customers leave.

Very overpriced for salads. I paid 10 dollars for 100 calories. I went back to work hungry. The almond tea tastes really good, reminds me of horchata. The ambience was nice. I probably won’t return because I can actually be satiated from healthy food elsewhere without processed fake meats. As a vegan I don’t eat fake meat I prefer healthy carbs to fill me up. If you’re not a vegan you will probably like it since they have cheese/meat to fill you up.

Food is very good. Wraps, salads, sandwiches. All fresh and organic. Soup of the day must be tomato basil which is my favorite. This is my second time here. Just like my first visit a week ago, I gave it two stars because it was 3:00 and all the tables were very dirty and needed to be wiped off. Not one was clean. They told me they were very busy at lunch time but I’m glad I didn’t ask my client to join me there. I would have been embarrassed. I asked for my table to be wiped off and 45 min later all tables remained dirty. I’m the only one here and there are 3 – 4 working here. Food that had spilled, napkins and debris on the floors. Dirty dishes piled up over where the coffee and tea condiment area is located. This is my last time.

Love love love!!! SOMANYHEALTHYOPTIONS! My cesar wrap was the best. The side salad was a good size for it to be a «side». They have really good jasmine tea too, the environment is super chill and clean! Cedric took our order, very polite. The staff overall is helpful an on top of things! Highly recommended. #healthy

Probably the most depressing café I’ve been to. Besides their music selection, everything about this place gives me suicidal thoughts. I came here on a Saturday around 2pm. There were 3 things that ticked me off. 1. The people. Everyone eating at this place made me depressed about being there. There was this mother and son duo, in particular, that just exuded a «I’m voting Trump» demeanor. They were body shaming girls on Instagram in their fucking iPhone 4, wearing baggy Danskin sweatpants and Rite Aid shoes. 2. The employees. They were super friendly, don’t get me wrong, but their lingo and conversations between one another made me feel like I was back in high school again. «Turnt», «hyped», «poppin» were used quite frequently. 3. Our drinks. I got an almond milk latte and my sister got an earl grey tea latte; both drinks that are nearly impossible to fuck up. They used Almond Breeze almond milk, so I shouldn’t have expect much. Spend an extra couple dollars and get a barista blend almond milk. It really does make all the difference. I can’t really speak for the food, as I just came in for just a drink to get some work done with my sister. But from what I saw, I’m pretty sure it’s worth while getting your order to-go. Anyways, establishments like these make me remember why I left this town.

Something Healthy is a great place to eat if you are in the mood for a tasty healthy sandwich. They have lots of different options, even for vegetarians, as it should from their name. The place is really clean and has a cool mellow vibe. FREEWIFI is a plus. My favorite sandwich of choice is the Greek and also the Pesto. The also have salads and wraps as an option if you are not feeling a sandwich. With not very many healthy restaurants around this one is here to stay! HINT: with your check in you receive a free coffee!!!

Something healthy, is really something healthy and I love it. This place is located right next door to the Total Nutrition Shop, next to the 24hour fitness. The food is excellent! So many healthy options including vegan. They have tons of protein options for meats as well. They have wraps, sandwiches, salads, you want it, they got it! Last time I was there for lunch, I actually saw someone ordering breakfast now. The inside décor is very modern and trendy. Beautiful done. Warm feeling and comfortable. My all time go to place when want to keep it clean and fresh food.

It’s a simple place, for a simple brunch. However, since it’s my first time here, I was overwhelmed when I looked at the menu on the chalkboard. Took me a couple of minutes to scan through what I wanted. Ordered a bacon, egg and chicken sandwich. When I got to my seat, was told that they ran of out eggs! I was very disappointed cause eggs should be a very basic item to have at a café, they shouldn’t run of it. Anyway, I love healthy food but it was way too healthy for my taste. Sandwich is nothing special, taste bland and is something that I could have make it myself at home. Ordered a Tomato Basil Soup. Soup is pretty good, given that the soup taste healthy, rich in flavor and vey tasty. Ordered Strawberry and Banana Smoothie with Soy, it was very filling. Would prefer to have a less milky and creamy smoothie.

Love this place! I work night shift at city of hope and needless to say, I don’t always want breakfast after a shift. It’s so convenient that S. H. Café is just down the street and that they make salads at 7 am. My favorite salad is the greek salad with chicken. It’s one of those salads that is good even without the dressing. Pros: –The calories for the salads are posted. –The portions are big and filling. –The staff members are friendly, knowledgeable, and make great suggestions. –the chairs are cute and comfy Cons: The only thing I didn’t like we’re the teas. Nothing special really. Just bland and bitter. I will come back again and again!

Came here tonight with some friends. Staff was extremely nice and helpful. I ordered the pesto wrap. With a side garden salad. Paid around 9 dollars. Honestly I was extremely disappointed. It was a waste of calories. Lack of flavor. Didn’t like the actual wrap itself, couldn’t taste flavor or the pesto, filled with ice burg lettuce:(for 9 $ I could have went somewhere else and had more flavor, and probably healthier too. I might return, but won’t order the same thing. The place itself is really cute, maybe I just ordered bad or something

Greek wrap with turkey is not bad. Actually, it was good, but thought the California Cobb sandwich with chicken was better. It was delicious! The side salad, on the other hand, tasted weird. It had a strong earthy taste to it. Got a free iced latte from checking in on Unilocal… nice! Again, not bad/tasted good(they use Klatch coffee), but prefer adding simple syrup as it was unsweetened. The place is cute as I remembered it. Pretty good décor/vibe. Service was good too~

Check-in offer: Check in and get a free cup of coffee(Klatch Coffee beans) from the coffee list with any purchase! How restaurant was selected: Found this gem while searching for a place near Metro Infinity for lunch. Location/Parking: Located a little bit pass Colorado Blvd on Shamrock Ave. Decent amount of parking in the back. Entertainment: Sit back and read through books located along the wall. Ambiance/Décor: Has this quiet homey ambiance with modern furnishings. Service: Cedric(staffer) was great! He was very friendly, informative, and had many recommendations. Food came out pretty fast. Ordering process for sandwiches and what we ordered: 1) Select any entrée box… pesto which comes with red peppers, olives, provolone cheese, avocado, pesto, and garlic aioli. 2) Select sandwich, salad, or wrap: sandwich. 3) Choose protein or vegan protein: tri-tip and turkey 4) Choose any side: chips, apple, or side salad: caesar salad. I wanted to upgrade to their well known tomato soup, but they were missing a ingredient. :( Food for thought: I absolutely loved them both, but I preferred the turkey over the tri-tip slightly. The ingredients in the sandwich gave it a savory(red peppers, olives, provolone cheese pesto, and garlic aioli) and sweet flavor(red peppers) which was enjoyable to eat. The salad rounded out the meal for me. –Tip: Ask for extra dressing to dunk your sandwich in! :) Verdict for thought: I’ll be backkkkkkkkkkkk!

I can guarantee you that Something Healthy is worth a try! The way their sandwiches are made is always always consistent! I absolutely love Something Healthy! Every time I come here I am never disappointed! The food is always always always very good and perfectly made! I came here about 9 – 10 times already. Let me tell you, once you come here you can never help but to come back again! The first couple of times I came here I got the walnut orange with albacore tuna panini style with a Caesar side salad and refillable iced tea. It was really yummy, crunchy, and a bit sweet, the tuna is added with mandarin oranges, wontons, and their special orange-sesame vinaigrette. The texture of the tuna was perfect. I love my sandwich filled up to every corner, and they made it exactly how I want it! The way the bread is toasted is always good! Perfectly crunchy and crispy:) The side salad given is always the perfect size as well! There were also a couple of times when I got the Russian sandwich with roast beef and oriental side salad as well! The Russian sandwich is a little bit on the sweet end either their Russian sweet dressing. I don’t specifically know what Russian dressing is, but let me tell you. I can never stop ordering Russian! Overall, the ambiance is soothing and calm. The music is slightly low, so this place is perfect for people to get their homework done. Relax and enjoy amazing sandwiches, tea, salad, and customer service!

Pretty good. Food is ok, good vegetarian and vegan options but also pretty boring menu. They offer soups, salads, wraps and sandwiches. The people working here are nice but kind of loud. When you come on a lunch break it’s nice to have some peace and quiet. I’d like management to ask the staff to not talk so loudly about everything under the sun. I like that they all seem to enjoy working here, but it’s obnoxious to listen to personal conversations.

I adore this little café. The ambiance is very trendy and sweet. It made me want to become a regular, sit by the window and do my homework. I definitely like that they have vegan selections, I’m a vegetarian and this place is ideal for me. My boyfriend even liked the vegan sandwich he had. The soups & sandwiches were fantastic. The Lavender Black tea was great, very refreshing. Definitely going to return to this place.

I came here years ago & today I came back to try it again! I was greeted right when I walked in. It seems like they changed up the menu to make it more customizable which I really like! First, you choose what kind of wrap, salad or sandwich you have. There’s numbers after it and I’m guessing that’s the calorie range? That’s super helpful for those who are trying to watch what they eat. After, you choose the protein you want(chicken, turkey, vegan options) and then a side(apple, chips, salad, or upgrade to premium side). You order at the front & then they’ll bring the order to your table. Ambiance — It’s very home-like. There’s a sofa & the décor is super cute and hipster. The chairs are all bright green and the tables are black. It’s pretty comfy & it’s a casual cute place to have brunch with your girlfriends or a nice family brunch! Also a nice place to eat after the gym since 24 is just right next door! Food — We ordered the the Greek wrap with garden salad, orange walnut salad and a California Cobb sandwich with coconut curry soup. Greek whole wheat wrap — I asked if I can have whole wheat wrap & the guy said they only have whole wheat. Yay for being healthy ^_^ I opted out the feta cheese because I’m lactose & also the onions because I got food poisoning from onions a month ago so I’m traumatized so now I don’t like onions anymore: P I got chicken as my protein choice. I asked which part of the chicken it was from and he said chicken breast, so it’s white meat! Yay. The greek comes with lettuce, cucumber, tomatoes, avocado, onions(I took out), feta(I took out), hummus & tzatziki. It was really good but I didn’t taste much of the tzatziki. I tasted the hummus though. I like how it wasn’t overpowering the wrap but complemented it very well. They didn’t give much chicken and several times I was eating just the vegetables with wrap before I got another bite with some chicken. I got a side garden salad with balsamic dressing. The balsamic dressing tasted a bit weird so I just used a little. The salad tasted very fresh & crunchy though! Orange walnut salad — which comes with two sides of dressings! It was really good and the dressing complemented the salad very well. It was a huge portion in a large bowl so it was well worth it’s price. California Cobb Sandwich w/Coconut Curry Soup — The bread was perfectly toasted and crunchy. It was warm and bread wasn’t burnt. It was really good & inside has sliced eggs which is unique tasting! It was an interesting but delicious combination in a sandwich. We upgraded this to a premium side, coconut curry soup. The taste was pretty strong and I can imagine this on top of rice, which would probably be even better! Service — We were greeted when we entered so that was great. When I made alterations to my order the worker was super nice about it. The lady who brought the food to our table was nice as well but nobody asked us if we wanted water or followed up with how our food was tasting which is what I would expect at least once! When we left nobody said bye or thanked us for coming even though I saw workers at the front just talking to each other. I don’t think service was bad but I think being more interactive with customers can be something they can work on. Price — Totally worth it for what you get. You get a wrap, salad or sandwich and a side for around $ 8. It’s pretty filling! It’s not an overpriced place especially since they have fresh quality ingredients. Overall, all the food is all made to order with very fresh ingredients! I like how the dressings with all the salads come on the side. Not everyone likes their salads tossed ahead of time so thanks Something Healthy for being different. I personally don’t use too much dressing so I always ask for it on the side & seems like they already knew haha! This is a great place to eat«something healthy». I will definitely be coming back and trying another wrap or sandwich! If you check in, you get 10% off your order! Also, get a stamp card because they don’t always offer it. 9 orders & you get 1 free. I’m trying to get to 9, I currently have 3 stamp punches!

4 stars for the food. I actually really like the food here: tasty, fresh, and made with care. The service is excellent as well, and all the guys(I’ve only ever seen guys work there the 2 times I’ve been) are really nice. Minus one star because both times, the food took a really long time to come out. I go for lunch in between classes and I only have maybe 30 – 45 minutes total, and I had to wait 20 – 25 minutes for my to-go food. The last time I went, I think they forgot my order altogether because they called 3 – 4 other people’s names that placed their order after me, and I was still standing there… I think I will still come back because it’s across the street from my school and it’s «something healthy» amongst all the fast food places nearby. I’ll just have to go when I have a really really long break.

Best sandwich, wrap, salad shop in LA! My boyfriend is a sandwich junkie and up until now we’d resorted to Panera as our«healthy» sandwich go-to spot, BUTNOTANYMORE! Something Healthy runs circles around preservative-filled Panera. He’s not even a fan of super healthy alternatives and he approves of this place! It’s also friendly for staying in or taking out with comfy tables and chairs or a couch for those wanting to have a chill lunch spot. Here you choose a «style», then if you want it as a sandwich, wrap, or salad, pick your protein of turkey, chicken, tuna, or veg/vegan options, then a side of Apple, chips, or salad(Caesar — my pick, Asian, or house). Our favorites include a Russian sandwich, a tuna melt(with rosemary aioli), and(his favorite) the turkey pesto panini. Everything is made fresh and their Caesar salad is simple and SUPER yummy. They also have homemade soup options daily as well. Whatever you pick here you can’t go wrong! Even if you’re not into the health craze — Something Healthy will make you a believer. My tip — skip the apple or bagged chips option — go for a salad. They put just as much love into their mains as they do their greens. YUMYUMYUM.

This place is right next to the gym… but of course… my husband and I just want to eat healthy the times we’ve been here. After a workout, you just want to drink protein and go home… and we always come here when we’re not working out. So we get the wraps. I always get the Greek Tuna Wrap — which is famous and it’s pretty good. My husband gets the other stuff. I never eat his… FOOD: Greek Tuna Wrap — pretty good. Sometimes it can come off as watery, but most of the time it’s been good. Tomato Soup: Everyone talked about it, but when I tried it. it was meh. PRICE: Pretty standard for a healthy spot. AMBIANCE: This place is pretty. You can really do a photoshoot in this place. That’s how pretty it is. It’s clean and just very trendy. SERVICE: Standard, nice. Sometimes can come off as pretentious, but I don’t think they mean to. They get the job done. PARKING: They have their own parking lot, but you can also use the 24 fitness one PROS: *clean cute bathroom *Stamp card *Smoothies and food *Next to gym

I bet this cute little place gets plenty of action from most of the 24 hour fitness gym goers. The ambiance is chic and the food, well, needless to say, it’s healthy… and delicious! They make a pretty tasty tuna wrap and a zingy oriental salad. Just note that sizes are pretty big, so you can easily split this between two people. There’s plenty of seating, which makes this place perfect for studying or a business meet up. Looking forward to trying their vegan Caribbean mango wrap on my next visit!
