Many ups and downs! Downs: huge place, and yes the bathrooms need lots of work as does the ceiling. Also, the dj isn’t great– only Mexican and salsa music the whole night
Pros: extremely friendly staff, beautiful open dance floor upstairs, and they have a downstairs which I couldn’t see because it wasn’t busy. Good drinks.

The atmosphere is a lot more intimate, since the place is so large and the tables are pretty spread out. For that reason, it’s one of my favorite places to catch up over a couple beers. On top of that, the pool tables offer the opportunity for a little friendly competition.
They charge a flat rate of about $ 14 – 16, depending on what days you go. Weekdays are cheaper, of course. On holidays or special events, they do have a cover charge.
In terms of aesthetics, the place is relatively nice. But there are a few things that could be helped. That’s the reason for one of the stars getting knocked off. The paint on the walls and ceiling could use some touching up, the bathroom is pretty rundown, and the fabric on a lot of the pool tables need to be replaced. Which isn’t too much of an issue if you’re just there to have fun with friends.

We’ve been coming here for over 5 years… maybe more? Table rates are reasonable and drink prices are fair. Full bar with just about any drink you can imagine and the food is pretty decent. All-​in-​all a great place to spend the afternoon or evening.

I absolutely Love this place! I was being selfish and did not want to review; I wanted to keep it a secret! I have been here like 5 or maybe 6 times, I don’t know I lost count, lol! Sergio is the best! On my birthday he upgraded us to VIP for free when it was packed and bought me a drink! He is always around! If it is your birthday or bridal shower hit up Sergio he will hook you up! The other owner Tim is cool too! There is a cover charge of $ 6 on Fridays and Saturdays, booo, but it’s worth it because they have an awesome DJ! There are a lot of pool tables and a huge dance floor! Sergio listened to my advice to get rid of the awful DJ they had before. He has upgraded! Did I mention I always have fun at this place! I’m going next weekend, see you there! :)

This is absolutely one of my favorite bars ever! I don’t even know where to begin my review, lol. The owner & the entire staff have always been very friendly. They’re fun to talk to, they listen to what you have to say, & they do their best to please their customers. One of the sweetest memories ever was when I came down to 4^th D for my birthday, had a ball drinking & shooting pool, then out of nowhere they gave me a slice of cake! While it may have just been my lucky night, I still believe the gesture says a lot about these amiable people.
Tuesdays happen to be my favorite because, well, how many other bars serve $ 2 Coronas & $ 2.50 margaritas or tequila shots?! On top of that, their tacos are pretty awesome. They have great deals other days as well, which I see are listed in other Unilocal reviews, so no need for me to repeat them.
Now, unfortunately, they are not doing as well as they used to, patron-​wise. Therefore, I wouldn’t bank on dropping by too close to their closing time or expecting the most popping-​est place in town. So, while they do try to operate within their means, you can still always expect to have a blast & be treated with respect.

Located in downtown Monrovia. Such a cool place with huge pool hall and dance floor. Food was surprisingly good, drinks were good, service was good. Had a great time there!

Go occasionally every few weeks, service is great, food and drinks are great as well, love this place. The owner is usually there and he’s so sweet, he makes sure to take care of his customers. Definitely recommend stopping by.

Very spacious there’s a little bit too much pool tables for the club downstairs but doable.

I like this place in monrovia old town, the only thing is the pool equipment are old. Such a nice area they need to update their stuff.

Located in Old town Monrovia. My high school softball team would have our banquets here during the day and It’s very spacious. Also my uncle would have parties here and rent out the whole club. 4 Ds has everything from pool tables, a bar, dance floor, and lounge.
If you visit this place later at night, there’s a cover charge. The pool hall is very big so you don’t have to worry about it being crowded and there’s also machine games you and your friends can enjoy. Inside, it can get a little smokey since people are a loud to smoke in the inside. Cocktails for $ 3 before 8pm. The staff here is very friendly, and they always check up on you. The space wasn’t as clean as you would expect it to be. Parking is easy to find and you won’t have any issues or having to pay.
4 D’s is located off of Myrtle near many other restaurants, shops and a movie theater. Also every Friday, Monrovia hosts a weekly street fair for people of many ages, and the area is always nice. It’s a cool place in town to either relax with families or hang out with friends. Monrovia is a quiet little town and is not a violent area at all.

The price to play pool was really good. It’s a big size area both upstairs and downstairs.
Drawback is that the ceiling over the pool tables is a patchwork of unpainted plaster. It’s time to update the restroom we are no longer in the 70s.

I went here for the first time with my boyfriend and his friends last night.
The pros:
–Free parking in the back, plenty of space, no headache. :)
–Reasonably priced drinks, even a water bottle is just 2 bucks, much better than Hollywood clubs when it comes to cheaper drinks.
–Friendly security guys. (But also is doing their job).
–Abundance of pool tables for a decent price.
The cons:
–Horrible music selection.

. I like how they have a dance floor as well. I get to shoot pool and dance sensually all in one night. Doesn’t get better than that.
Only con is that the dance floor isn’t busy. Saturdays they start charging $ 6 cover after 9pm.

This place is located in Downtown Monrovia. My friends and I use to visit this place frequently in college because they offer very competitive prices! It’s a mix of everything, pool tables, bar, dance floor, and lounge. They seem to cater their music toward hispanic patrons, but heck, you’ll have a good time regardless.
I was at this place on a Friday night. If you visit this place later at night, there’s a cover charge. Since we were here early, we just walked straight in. For a pool table the whole night, it’s just $ 18! What an awesome deal! The pool hall is very big so you don’t have to worry about it being crowded. This place use to be very smoky but they must have banned that because I didn’t have a problem with the air this time. If you’re there before 8pm, you also get cocktails for $ 3! We left the tab open so the waitress dropped by many times to check on us a refill our drinks. I didn’t visit the bar or the dance floor that night but it looked very quiet. It is not a ship as it use to but it was still early into the night.
As I mentioned before the staff here is very friendly, they continuously check on you. The space itself was decent. It wasn’t entirely clean, but then again, I have been to other pool halls and they’re not super clean either. Parking is easy to find and you won’t have any issues. I love that you don’t have to pay for parking around this area! It’s located in a very great area… lots of bars, restaurants, shops, dessert spots, and a movie theater.
Overall, I like this place because of the price and service. I would recommend people to check this place out if they’re in the Monrovia area and looking to play some pool.

I highly recommend this place for a date night because you stay here all day, play pool at a flat rate, drink all night, and on fridays and saturday nights this place gets transformed into a nightclub. Because I’m not a huge fan of cheap alcohol, I give his place a ³⁄₅ for alcohol. The music can be more up-​to-​date to attract a younger crowd so I give this place’s ambiance (⁴⁄₅), the pool flat rate (⁵⁄₅) cannot be beat due to its low prices. The location plays a huge part too because every friday Monrovia has a Farmer’s Market too, so location I give it a (⁵⁄₅) because the Farmers Market is conveniently located to 4^th dimension.

Decent joint, but shiesty. Been here a few times for the billiards. The ground floor has plenty of pool tables and a foosball table. It’s a decent deal when you come at the right time, but the food isn’t good by any means. It’s oily and taste like crummy cafeteria food. Probably the worst food on Myrtle. Most recently I went here because my partner bought one of those online deals for pool, pizza, and a pitcher of beer for a $et price. It was a good deal to draw us back in, but the service was shady! The server pushed an extra pitcher of beer on us; brought us a pitcher we did not order. Ugh. Those pitchers aren’t cheap.
Venue is large. There’s an underground dance floor with a bar. Pretty low-​key place. There are projectors and plenty of flat screens to watch sports.

It’s been a long time since I’ve been to The 4^th Dimension. It is a huge venue, dance floor downstairs, pool tables upstairs. Many couches to lounge around on and big screens with the game on.
Happy hour all night Monday and unlimited pool for $ 14. That’s a steal for a night of fun. Cape Cods and Dos Equis and about 5 rounds of hang time around the pool table catching up on lost times. Don’t forget the country music. Good times to be had here.
It’s not fancy or trendy, just a casual place to shoot pool and have a few drinks. But parking was convenient. the people are nice and its comfortable.
