Primavera Pizza. Wouldn’t say this pizza rocks… but, it’s not bad for Montauk Pizza… good while kickin’ back with some brews, when you’re out camping.

Pizza was amazing. My fiancé and I got two slices each and had a beer by the Montauk Brewing Co. Go for the Grandma slice, you won’t go wrong!

Amazing pizza. I had a slice of the plain cheese and Margherita, my fiancé had the grandma and the Sicilian and both had beer by Montauk Brewing Co. $ 4/slice.

We were in town for an art show, and asked where we could get some real NY pizza. This is where everyone recommended. We got a slice for lunch and it was awesome, so we decided to go back for dinner. They were so busy, but we waited patiently for take out. 25 minutes. They got our order wrong!!! We ordered a round pie and got the grandma pie and they left the pepperoni off!!! The pizza was still good, but wish they had gotten it right.

We ordered a pie of grandma pizza, spaghetti with bolognese, and spaghetti with garlic and oil. All of them are so fresh and good! P. s. Outside seating or takeout.

Very nice people and great pizza and other Italian specialties. Been coming here since they were called«gianni’s» and through its various name changes, and always remained loyal to this place when craving pizza in mtk

The pizza from Primavera is a few rungs below mediocre. The dough was like playdough, the cheese like wax. As we were eating it, I looked over at my girlfriend, who was picking at her slice. «What are you taking off it,» I asked her. «Everything,» she said, «and I don’t think I’m eating any more if it.» We haven’t tried the other pizza places for comparison, but it’s hard to imagine anything being worse than Primavera. Maybe everything else is just as bad, but seriously, it would be impossible to find worse pizza.

Grandma slice was as good as everyone said, wish i got more than one slice. Chicken cutlet sandwich was equally as tasty. Considering the limited options during offseason i would go back during peak season.

Pizza here is to die for… It is a tiny little place, no room inside for seating… it’s a pickup and go kinda place. There are only a few picnic tables outside if you wanted to eat outdoors on a nice day. I ordered a large pie with meatballs, and half a dozen garlic knots. The meatballs were well made, so soft and full of flavor, and the pizza was cooked just right, not too overcooked but with the right amount of crunch from the crust. The garlic knots were garlic-y and just so yummy and soft. We also ordered two of their giant chocolate Cannolis for dessert(they also had what looked like vanilla bean cheesecake slices) not too sweet filling and crunchy chocolat-y shell. Perfect desert. This is the type of place I would drive two hours from the west end of the island for. 5 stars.

I stopped by this place last week while on vacation. I usually drop over to PP for a pie with my family. We always liked the nice outdoor seating. Looks like you are in your own back yard. This year, while the pizza was good, the wait was horrible. It took about 40 minutes to get our pie. The counter person was supposed to call us when the pie was ready. We had to go inside a third time to find out the pie was laying on the counter! Talk about poor communication! Don’t know if we caught this place on a bad or super busy day, but 40 minute delays in mid afternoon leaves a lot to be desired. Buyer be ware! g

My major complaint with Primavera was the customer service(or lack thereof, rather). My family and I were trying to place an order of pizzas for pick-up one night and we had a very difficult time with the woman on the phone(she was distracted and frequently interrupted/set down the phone, did not know the menu). When we asked for the total price of our order, she said«We don’t give totals, we’re busy; look at the menu yourself» and hung up on me. I called back and was quoted $ 84.13 for the four pizzas, which i was told would be ready in 40 minutes. However, when we went to pick up our order at the time we were told, we were kept waiting at the register for well over 20 minutes and then were charged almost $ 115. Our pizzas were ready when we arrived, but no one would ring us out, for no apparent reason. No staff could be bothered to give us the time of day or explain why there was such a discrepancy in the price quoted vs. actual price. The pizza would have been tasty, if it hadn’t gotten cold while we were kept waiting for a price hike and a side serving of bad attitude. I understand being stressed in a busy restaurant — I’ve worked food service, too; I get it – but this experience left a bad taste in our mouths and we won’t be ordering from here again. Not worth the price or hassle, even if the food has the potential to be really good.

I’m shocked to see that this place actually got some great reviews. Came here for a few slices a couple of years back and the pizza sucked. Either we hit this place on an off day or the other reviewers don’t actually know what good pizza is. Sorry folks

Rocked my world. Fresh pizza, maybe the best in NYC. We went several times over a 4-day weekend: Calzones: Kick ass! Salads: Fresh as they come. Sandwiches: gigantic and over-stuffed. Do yourself a solid and grab some bites. No indoor seating so it’s either eat it outside on picnic tables or take it home(or to the beach).

Their Unilocal page says they deliver, and they don’t. Let’s be serious pizza restaurants should deliver, if not, at least update the online info about your business.

This is the absolute best place for Italian in Montauk. They have the best recipes and have the BEST customer service. Penne a la vodka is out of this world and their sicilian and grandma pizza is the bomb! Enzo and Jose are awesome! My boyfriend and I eat here several times a week and we’re always greeted with a smile. Cannot beat this place!!!

Simply Stated; Best Pizza in Montauk Grandma slice is very good, plain slice is good, knots are solid, specialty slices are good, Margiarita slice is good. Everything I’ve had is very good and the price is reasonable for Montauk.
