This is a great wine store not just as far as montauk is concerned– it would be considered great anywhere. The selection is vast and diverse with real depth in Burgundy, Champagne and American wines. Tommy will never steer you wrong or upsell you on something you might not want. You can get great bottles for under $ 15 but you can also spend north of $ 100 if that’s what you’re looking to do. Good liquor selection with fair prices rounds out the store. Nice job Tommy and crew.

Right in the center of town is this classic ‘old school” wine and spirits shop with a friendly«beach flavor» to it. The owner was nice, friendly and very accommodating. I milled around found many comfort brand yet with them I found amazing vintage French reds that could rival Sherry Lehman and for 30% less than Lehman would charge. The selection was vast pretty much everything one could need for any occasion, pricing very fair for being all the way out here in Montauk. The layout of the store was a little cramped with inventory everywhere and a bit dated. Yet, at the end of the day shoppers are here for product and pricing and here you will find it along with a great guy who owns it. I found a great Cotes de Provence rose and a solid Alsatian Pinot Blanc both in the $ 11 dollar range and are perfect for afternoon pours and pairing with the seafood.

No cold beer? That was the minor flaw. They did have cold champagne and a great selection of wines. Counter help a teensy bit dour, but we were not there to hang out in the store. Prosecco, OUT!
