Absolutely A 5 Star Barbershop. It’s about 5 minutes from where we live, and it’s so convenient to get an appointment. Called him up yesterday and got an appointment first thing this morning. The shop is less than a year old but the vibe here is refined with positivity. No sagging pants allowed, no profanity, and they embrace people from all walks of life. The shop is very clean, and from the discussions I had with him, he has concrete upcoming developments to make it an elite barbershop within its location. I look toward to going back there in two weeks to get another shape up, at an ideal and reasonable price. Not only have I reviewed this place on Unilocal,I have told a couple of my friends about it, and I look forward to hear what they have to say as well. And if your reading this and need a haircut or knows someone who does, I recommend this place.

I was so tired of taking my child to barbershops with their filthy conversations, nasty movies and crappy parking. So a friend recommended Mahir’s Barbershop. WHAT A DIFFERENCE! The guys are courteous. I don’t feel ‘out of place’ as a woman. It is really family-friendly! He takes the time to get to know his customers and treats them with respect. Parking is on the street, and you will almost always get a spot.

This is an excellent barbershop, it is a traditional shop. Two barber’s the old chairs, and interesting dialog on topics that range from sports to politics, and anything else you would like to talk about. The barber’s are very skilled, and take pride in what they are doing. It is not a «get’em in and get’em out» type of shop that is more concerned with numbers. These barber’s are more concerned with the quality, and how the customer looks and feels about the haircut. Mahir will come in early, stay late, what ever it takes for his customers. Above all it is a shop where young men in the community can not only get a haircut, but also get an education. Some even earn a few dollars by sweeping and doing small jobs and errands for Mahir. This shop is much more than a hair salon, it is an asset to the community.
