I was introduced to Architect last May by my sister and it was one of the best things that’s happened to me. Classes include intense sets of cardio, strength training and plyometrics that leave me dripping in sweat and sore but always wanting to come back because of the amazing trainers that lead each class. Adrienne’s energy is infectious and she makes you feel confident, energized, focused and loved. It’s like you’re receiving one-on-one training while you’re in a room full of people. Sarah teaches Thursday & Saturday Circuit Griit classes that spruce up the schedule and target different muscle groups in different ways. She gives constant encouragement and motivation when you’re ready to tap out. The best part, though, is that when Sarah is teaching, Adrienne jumps into a class with all of us and when Adrienne teaches Sarah does the same. Adrienne and Sarah are ultimate fitness tag team and I am 100% positive that I won’t be able to find a better workout anywhere. Whether i’m at the 5:30am class or 7pm class, it’s always a party and it always feels like home.

I met the staff from Architect and they gave me and a friend a flyer for a free class. We finally took them up on the offer this past Sunday. Thank goodness Monday was Labor Day and I didn’t have to work because my muscles were extremely sore. My thighs hurt so much that I had to walk down the stairs backwards all day yesterday!!! This is the epitome of a full body work out. As I sit here today(3 days after the GRIIT workout I can still feel the soreness in my muscles, but in a good way). My friend is a marathon runner, who is training for this year’s NY marathon. I’m a shorter distance runner and a tennis player. I consider myself fit, but this workout would take me to the next level in fitness. It’s a 45-minute class with cardiovascular and strength training. Adrienne was the instructor and she was great; not too overbearing, but more hands-on with us because we were new. There were 8 people in the class, both men and women and all ages. I really enjoyed the class and I’m not a gym type or sports team person. I prefer individual workouts and individual sports, yet I’m considering joining Architect Studios. I was impressed that she knew everybody’s name and it seemed very personal, even though it was a group class. Thanks Adrienne for kicking our a$$es! :)
