Tina came highly recommended from my best friend. I’d never had a bikini wax before meeting her because to be quite honest, it scared the heck out of me! Well, now I know I had nothing to worry about. Tina was fantastic! Aside from being beautiful, she’s professional and efficient! She took great care of me and talked me through every step. I felt very comfortable in probably one of the most awkward of situations. Oh, did I mention I was pregnant at the time?! That’s right ladies, just because your sporting a baby bump does not mean you have to sit summer out, lol! Thanks again Tina!

I started going to Tina about 2 years ago when she was still in San Dimas. I was a first time waxer when I started with her, and she has basically ruined me for anyone else! Tina is precise and takes her time to make sure there isn’t a single hair left. She made it a point to make sure I knew she was sanitary and was using a new stick every time… no nasty double dipping! I’ve strayed and tried places like European Wax Center and their quality of work was no where near Tina’s. I’ve referred a few people to Tina and I hope they are just as satisfied as I have been. I definitely recommend Tina to anyone looking to wax!

tina has been my waxer for the last FIVE years. she is amazing! i typically get a brazilian, which the spa calls the full bikini.
pros:
— tina is an amazing waxer. why? because she really cares about making sure you get the best wax possible. she is pretty meticulous plucking any strays after waxing. if you’re not happy, she’ll be more than happy to fix anything, though in my last five years i think i’ve only had to ask her once to redo one section.
— clean! the first wax i had with her, she pointed out she always uses a new stick to dip into the wax, never double dipping. she also brings out fresh towels before each client. clean!
— call ahead reminder. someone always calls and reminds you of your appointment the day before. with our busy lives, we all need a reminder call!
— comfortable table and calming music
cons:
— tina books up fast! especially during the high summer season, so plan ahead! book your appt a few weeks in advance
— high demand. occasionally you do have to wait because tina is running behind. i really suggest people to show up on time for their appointments! tina is so nice taking in people who are late! but, i can’t go to anyone else for my waxing needs, so i’ll just wait
— new location in montclair; the san dimas location is now closed. it’s a bit further from me, but like i said i cant go to anyone else! also, it’s suite 218!
would i come again? YES very regularly!

This is an example of a business owner going above and beyond to make sure their clients are happy. There is simply no way you can have a bad experience from Tina or her staff. If for some reason, things DON’T go as planned (and I wouldn’t even know what that looks like cause I have yet to experience it), she would make certain to fix it and have you walk out a happy client.
The owner is accommodating, professional and truly takes pride in her work. It is for these reasons that I have been a repeat customer for more than a few years and will continue being her client as long as she is in business!

Those of us who have experienced her already know exactly what I’m talking about. But for you newbs scrolling through ‘bikini wax’ search results with alarming ease, this is for you:
1. Cleanliness should be your first concern when letting someone manhandle your whoo-​ha. Having a slightly OCD waxer is certainly in your favor. Consistently sanitized instruments, clean sheets, towels & workspaces and absolutely NO double dipping. In fact, your little passion purse will actually come out fresher than how it went in.
2. Comfort levels are my number two concern. I need to retain some semblance of poise while I’m spread eagle under bright (although not offensive) lights. Here’s the thing: you kinda forget about the awkwardness when Tina is waxing you. Seriously. She’s so disarming that you just organically fall into conversation (or peaceful silence) and you hardly notice that she’s ripping out your curly-​cues in small chunks. She’s incredibly genuine and non-​judgmental and both of these are executed with professionalism and grace.
3. Technique. Quick, gentle & smooth sound good to you? It’s uncomfortable, sure, but not nearly as painful as you’re imagining. This is another aspect where Tinas OCD is beneficial to you; she is efficient, thorough and skilled. She takes great pride in her work and girl gives a DAMN FINE bikini wax.

The security on this building is a tad bit dramatic.
Sometimes, Tina runs late.
It’s because she’s so dang thorough with every client, making sure there are no loose ends. This girl does not know the meaning of half-​assed. So, please be patient and remember that this thoroughness is also extended to you and that attention to detail is part of what keeps us all coming back for more.
She books up quickly.
If you’ve got a specific date and time in mind,
best call at least 2 weeks in advance,
4 weeks if it’s your honeymoon or vacation

I first came to this place when it was located in San Dimas. The staff is super friendly and everything is very clean. I was really scared because this was going to be my first Brazilian wax, however Tina was awesome. She was quick, professional, and made me comfortable and at ease. She talked and kept my mind off of the stinging sensation. Since then, I continued to drive further to get waxed by Tina.

Have a gift card for a massage that I got as a gift a few months ago. I called in today to schedule an appointment and they do not do massages anymore. The lady did offer to book an appointment for a facial instead but with sciatica acting up I need a massage! Very disappointed!

I highly recommend this place! I have been a customer of theirs for a couple years when they were in San Dimas, mainly for bikini waxing. To my surprise, their old phone number no longer worked… So I had to find out they had moved their business to Montclair in September, via Unilocal.I have tried other bikini waxing places in the past (ie: Asian nail salons, Face to Face in Covina) & nothing compares to the work that Tina does. I found these establishments to be a bit more clumsy, a little bit more rougher and have the need to try to rush you out of there to attend to the next person. Not with Tina! So of course, I was willing to drive a couple more miles for her service. The reason being is that: she makes you feel at ease and comfortable, does not rush you and makes sure there is no stray hairs lingering in the front & back door (you know what I mean ladies) … Also, you don’t feel sticky from the waxing afterwards. I like the fact that the establishment is clean, hygenic & that she does not double dip… So you do not have to worry about getting an infection here. Needless to say, they have a customer for life!
P.S: I have also had Ashley (who is now in SF), & Letty (who also does a great job, but I did not see her there today). My friends have done their facials & they say they do a wonderful job as well.
Linda at the front desk is very courteous & answers the phone promptly. I was able to make an appointment swiftly.

I have been to multiple places to receive waxing hair removal and by far Tina is my favorite! Her thoroughness, cleanliness, and great personality always makes me feel comfortable and welcome. I drive almost 25 minutes not including traffic to get waxed by her that’s how much I appreciate her business, and her prices are more than fair (this is coming from a college student)!
Tip: it is located in a building slightly like a doctors office next to car dealerships and is located on the second floor all the way straight to the back.
