Cressie Mae Hoops

When it comes to hooping Cressie Mae is where it’s at! I have had her hoop for about 3 months now and in that short period of time learned more than i ever did with my previous hoops (yes ive had 2 others! none of which compare!) in the 6 months prior. Not only is it beautiful but it is durable, easily collapsable and fun to use. Cressie lives breathes and embodies art, dance and love in everything she does. Watching her hoop is a fantastic journey that encourages you to learn and grow on your own. Not only is Cressie an incredible hooper, she is also an avid fire dancer/​spiner. Whether it is fire hoop, poi or fans she is joy to watch that makes them all come alive! I have also been fortunate enough to have Cressie paint my face and seen the work she has done on many others. Cressie truly turns you in a work of art, as she does with everything around her! Cressie is like a little sprightly forest nymph flitting about gracefully and sprinkling happy-​dust everywhere. She may be tiny, but she can HOOP and DANCE, and she’s also a great teacher. The other day she was generously offering free hooping lessons in Dolores Park, and I love hooping and I love free, so I decided to check it out. Cressie was looking all cute in sparkly stars face-​paint and I asked her for some tips on a particular move and she gave me several great ideas that took me from chicken-​dance to Indian-​goddess in no-​time-​flat. Some complete beginners stopped by and she had them up and hooping in minutes. Everyone was smiling, having a great time, and learning some new moves. Cressie also makes these super cute rainbow hoops and hoops in custom color palettes, as well as collapsible hoops. Though she is very modest, Cressie is an accomplished dancer and performer. Cressie Mae is seriously what’s Up. Not only is she seriously talented at hula-​hooping and making fun quality collapsible hula-​hoops, but she is a genuine joy to be around.
I purchased a custom made rainbow collapsible hula-​hoop from her before my trip to Tennessee and not only did it travel on the plane with ease, but it received a never ending slew of compliments wherever I went.
I’m already looking into buying some more hula-​hoops from her — to give to friends and to keep in stock for upcoming beautiful days at the park.
