Carol C-​love this shop. All kinds of vintage stuff. Great selection of mirrors and stained glass. Furniture stacked to the ceiling. Artwork and frames, glass and China, costume jewelry, and good stock rotation. They also buy from people, and were helpful when dealing with estate pieces and silver.30Yrs says it all.

I’m a growing fan of Garage Sale Antiques. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve passed by their storefront eager to check out their stuff, but never really took the time to visit. Call me lazy but I’m always zipping by their storefront coming eastbound on Claremont Ave. Garage Sale’s entrance is on the west side of the street. When I had finally had the chance to stop by two weeks ago, I had stopped by yet again last weekend; that’s how much they’re growing on me!
Their shop is filled with items all the way up to the ceiling. Bedframes, chairs, lamps, picnic baskets, cake stands, fine china, vintage and antique furniture. Its not organized, nor are the aisles spacious, but that’s what I love about it. You’re hunting and digging. In comparison to all the other shops in town, It’s not high end prices which personally is better for my wallet. I had bought a large cookie tin ($ 5) which I now use as a sewing kit, and an adorable gold trimmed flower tray made in England which I now use for my jewelry (also $ 5).
Everyday the sidewalk is filled with different items. For those who wish not to leave empty handed, bring cash.
