Quality of food has really gone down hill. Just picked up my usual (Beijing Beef, Beef/​Broccoli & Fried Rice) at first glance the food looks like it has been sitting a while. Usually the broccoli is fresh and green… But here I have it dark green as you can tell the sauce has marinated itself right into it. The Beijing beef is hard and crusty from being under the heat lamps for a while. And the Egg rolls are soggy, not crisp and crunch. If it wasn’t for the convenience of the place being blocks away… I would rather head over to their competition, Tasty Goody for better portions.

A rather exceptional Panda Express location. Food is always fresh and even when trays are low the employees are more than happy to cook a fresh batch for you as long as you don’t mind a 5 or so minute wait which is nothing at all to be honest. Panda is casual dining not fast food and please keep in mind not all items are always available upon arrival since this is a lower volume store but the fact that items are made fresh upon request is amazing, you can’t beat fresh food.
Another great addition is if you don’t like waiting an extra 5 or 10 minutes you can always order food online or over rhe phone and they have it ready for you at the time agreed upon or once you walk in to ensure your food stays hot. A definate try if your in the area and want some chinese food.

Typical Panda quality of food (kinda greasy yet somehow satisfying). Except this time, when I went to this location, the noodles were all short and there was a large veggie to noodle ratio (not cool).
Also, the fountain drinks were very watered down at this location. Not sure if this is an ongoing problem or just unlucky for me that this was the case the one time I’ve been here.

Had a bad experience here. The employee that served me was not kind at all, and was clearly frustrated that I request my noodles to be in a plate by there self and not with a meat item (vegetarian). Will not be back.

Eat here at least twice a month i have noticed a drop in quality and portions. and they always skimp out on the teriyaki sauce.

This location was very friendly and also very clean! I came here around 30 minutes before they closed and they still offered to make a fresh batch of sides that weren’t quite full portions. I also liked that the vegetables were very crisp and tasted fresh, it did not seem wilted and soggy as if it had been sitting out for hours.

Hadn’t gone to a Panda for a long, long time, because it seemed like everything they had and every time I went, the heat lamps had basically dried out and hardened all their food. Well they must have revamped their menu or changed out those bulbs or rethought their philosophy because this last visit was nothing like previous experiences at a Panda Express.
We got there about 10 minutes before closing and they still made some items fresh for us. There was no eagerness to kick us out of the dining room, no trying to rush us to order, no telling us they couldn’t make anything that wasn’t there in a bowl. They told us 10 minutes to make something fresh, we said yes, and they were more than happy to make it for us. Dining room was immaculate, staff was friendly, and I have nothing but good things to say about this location.

So this location states on their door that they open at 10 am. At 10:10 am I try to go in and buy food and the doors are locked. I see employees inside working and they see me. I was another 10 minutes and try the door again, still no one opens the door they apparently didn’t need my business today.
How very rude of a business to see a customer on the outside and not so much as even bother to let them know that for some reason today it is not business as usual.
I have tried this particular location twice, both times were bad experiences. Next time I will try the one in the Montclair Plaza.

Considering where its located, the restaurant is clean and nice.
Staff is friendly, however the portions they give here are not as much compared to other Panda Express locations. Taste is consistent. For some reason, this location doesn’t always have the steamed vegetables prepared: have to wait for them to make it (and can take awhile).
There are a number of homeless people who sit in front of this restaurant, so be cautious.

Only reason for the 1 star is to write my review. Totally sucked for $ 10.10 worth of nothing. Portions are child size for the price and for some reason today was the worst nice to know they have an 800 # to call and complain.

Average mall food quality. My issue is with the staffs attempts to up sell. Either they are mathematically challenged or brats that can never be told that they are wrong. 2 plates with 3 items are $ 7.88 each, a total of 15.76. Buying 4 individual cartons at $ 3.25 for a total of $ 13.00. Yes I know you want to fill the plate with rice and noodles but I don’t want rice and noodles. No, sorry even after taxes added I’m still ahead. Sell me what I ask for as you are doing me no favors telling me that you are saving me money when you are not.
