I have known Pete Lavoie for a number of years as an art consultant and he did framing more or less on the side. His work was always so good and I was surprised he did not do more. Then, when he opened his own shop, he soared. I collect a fair amount of art — more than I should, but always have Pete frame it for me. He has an absolutely amazing eye for detail and a knack for choosing the best frame style, color, and accents to make any painting, from the inexpensive print to expensive original, look oustandingly beautiful. As an art collector, I have found that a piece can look dynamically better with the right framing. I can say, without a doubt, that Pete at Stacks Custom Framing has raised the value of my art through his framing wizardry. I trust his taste implicitly where I do not choose a thing in the process. I send him the art piece and ask him to perform his magic and I have never been disappointed. His work is just that good. Overall, I cannot recommend highly eniugh to any art collector or anyone seeking to find the best frame for anything.
