Very impressed with their excellent service, large portions, and tasty food. The restaurant store front is in a shopping center and doesn’t look too attractive from the outside. However, don’t let that fool you. I was in the area visiting friends and we wanted a good place to enjoy lunch together. This was our first time, and now it is our ‘go-to’ place for chinese food whenever we are the area.

Great food, great owner, great staff… A true recipe for success. This was our first visit and looking forward to coming back. The shrimp in curry sauce was awesome and the wife loved the fried rice and 3 flavor soup. The food was also reasonably priced and the restaurant was really clean with plenty of space for a big party.

Best Authentic Chinese, especially if you order from specialty menu, in the Claremont/Montclair/Upland vicinity. Braised pork belly, choked cabbage, bean sprout with either leeks or green onions, and spicy Ma Po tofu!

Went here for the first time today, I was actually next door buying frames when my daughter started crying that she was hungry. There were several places to eat within the shopping center but after looking on Unilocal,we decided on this place and they did not disappoint! The restaurant was empty, went about 4:45pm, and waited a few minutes before anyone came out and noticed we were standing there waiting. Once seated we asked for recommendations and ordered salt and pepper pork chips, beef chow fun & string beans. Everything was absolutely delicious! The restaurant started filling up quickly for dinner but the entire time our server was on top of it. We will be back.

First time here and glad we went! We were almost deterred because the place was packed and there was a wait. Turns out they were also short staffed, but everyone seemed to be doing the best they could, even the host was cleaning tables, taking orders, and bringing the drinks to the tables. We ordered: crispy beef in spicy sauce, tangerine chicken, salt and pepper pork, beef low mein„ and chicken fried rice. All were delicious! The crispy beef was nice and crunchy. The tangerine chicken had a nice floral note to it. Salt and pepper pork could have used a little more salt and pepper though, but maybe that’s just me. I loved the beef low mein. The sauce was on point, the noodles were cooked perfectly. All were huge portions, and prices were decent that for my family of 6 we spent about 15% less than what we normally spend at a sit down restaurant. The service was a little slow, but they were short staffed and slammed when we went, but the chef came around asking the patrons if hey enjoyed their meals. We will be back to try more of the menu.

Very clean place. The servers were friendly and the food was freshly made. Lunch specials from 11am-4pm. Ranges from $ 7 – 11 bucks for a whole lot of food. The lunch gives you your choice of an entrée, eggflower or sweet n’ sour soup, an eggroll, and a salad. I got the honey shrimp which was very filling and glazed with a sweet sauce. The pepper and salt porkchop was perfectly cooked and had a crackled pepper taste as it was cooked in jalapeños with onions. If you check in, you get a free cheese wonton appetizer that comes with 6 pieces and plum sauce.

I worked at a family owned Chinese restaurant for 4 years and after they closed down in 2006 I have not found another place as good until now. You can tell this place uses fresh veggies with their dishes and the meat portions are generous. The bar and server station could use a little face lift but the food and service is fantastic.

Placed a pick up order, when we arrived there was no one at the front desk. We waited for at least 5min before a t waiter came to assist us, then waited 10min for them to bring out our order. Aside from the long wait the food was delicious! We would go back again, hopefully it won’t take so long next time.

Just left and had a great time! Came in at about 5, and we were the only party waiting. Got seated after maybe 5 minutes and a bit of a wait too for our order to be taken. I understood that they were understaffed with it being Chinese New Year and all. The restaurant is very small and intimate. My family and I don’t get to go out together that much between work and everything, so it was great to be able to sit down and just enjoy that time talking. The food was good and really hot. I love the $ 4.95 add on of foil wrapped chicken, egg rolls, soup(egg flower, hot and sour, or wonton), rice(white or fried) and cream cheese wontons. Highly recommend the Beef Lo Mein, Sweet and Sour Fish Fillet, and Garlic Chicken. The noodles were flavorful, and the chicken skin was nice and crispy. There were minor things like all the unbussed tables, only getting bussed when someone was about to be sat. Also, the tables are set quite close together. Overall, my family and I had a great experience and hope that we can come and try more of the menu soon!

Drunkenness, highness, hungry, vegetarianism, really nice waitresses, clean bathroom, automatic no MSG. This place was delicious. Can’t wait to go back. Omg– were back! I love this place! The choked cabbage is amazing. It has a familiar yet mysterious flavor. Also, get the Ma Po tofu, and the eggplant, and the peanuts… Omg, delicious :)

I’m back! Went here again today, it being my 4th time. And it was better than ever! They were busy, and the wait was only a few minutes, but that’s great! Busy means they are still kicking, and will so be the next time I come by. I ordered my usual. Baby Bok choy, combination Lo mein, and their hidden secret, The hot, braised shrimp. Oh. My. God. It’s just like a dish I had back in San Diego. Spicy, garlicky, shrimp in a red sauce. Amazing! Steven was outstanding in his customer service. Jessica was her usual, amazing self when she stopped by to say hi. This hidden gem shouldn’t be so hidden. It’s truly great, fresh, cooked to order, Chinese food. I’ve seen some negative stuff on here and don’t get it. Some people just seem bored and want to post bad stuff. This place is really wonderful. From the great food they prepare fresh every time, to the customer service. If you do have any issues, why would you complain on here? Instead of addressing it at the store level. Where I’m sure they’d be happy to make it right for you. 5 stars in my book. Check it out for yourself. Me? I’m so looking forward to my next trip!

Had a wonderful lunch! Restaurant staff were attentive, polite and ensured we had the best service. The food was excellent and the price even better. I brought a cake for my daughter-in-law’s birthday, and our server was quick to provide plates and all we needed to enjoy the cake and the celebration. Thanks a lot! Will be back for sure!!!

QUALITYQUALITYQUALITYQUALITYQUALITY it’s so hard now to find quality Chinese food. I am a repeat customer which says a lot. My order always goes as follows: Kung Pao Shrimp –5 stars Hot and sour soup-5 stars Low mein noodles 5 stars Fried rice — 4 stars The only reason someone would NOT give this place a 5 star is for service. They are understaffed but I really don’t mind especially for the price and quality. Oh and THEYDELIVER!

Impulse decision for Chinese food one night with my boyfriend. Best decision of the night. Modern décor, very open and elegant inside. Prompt service and the food wasn AMAZING!!! We both tried something new, which was huge for us because we typically order what’s familiar especially dining at a new place. The crispy tangerine beef, hot and sour soup, fried chicken wontons and the egg rolls are a must try! My 2nd experience was delivery! Even better! I ordered off GrubHub… If you’re in the zone for Chinese, choose this spot.

Wow, just fantastic for our first visit. I can tell, very easily, we’ll be ordering from here again! The food was just amazingly good! This is NOT your typical Chinese fast food restaurant. This is an upper-scale dining experience at location or home. We ordered simple for our first time. Chicken Chow Fun(wide rice noodles), Pork Fried Rice and Pork Dumplings. We had it delivered. Took just over an hour, which was reasonable for us. Delivery fee was just $ 1.50, but prices vary. Arrived by a very helpful and courteous delivery driver. Let’s be honest, not all delivery drivers are friendly or happy people. OK, first our appetizer. We ordered the Steamed Dumplings,(ground pork), for $ 5.95. Soft, doughy steamed, moist dumpling filled with lightly seasoned ground pork. These were a miss for us. The dumplings should have been fried for more flavor since flavor was lacking. The ground pork mixture was very flat and was too lightly seasoned. Needed more spice, herbs, salt and pepper. The dipping sauce helped some, but the internal flavor should stand on its own. These didn’t. Although, they were nothing special, the quality of these were excellent. They just needed more flavor and pop. Next up, the Chicken Chow Fun for $ 7.95. Wide, fat rice noodles grilled with a tasty sauce, bean sprouts and large chicken chucks. Just fantastic. The sauce was amazingly tasty. The noodles soft but with some chew. The bean sprouts added that slight crunchy mouth feel. The chicken, was epic. Large to small chunks of perfectly prepared, moist, tender chicken. Grilled crust on the out side, soft, tender and juicy inside. This is not your typical dried out, fast food chicken, folks! Trust me! Just glorious! Finally, the Pork Fried Rice for $ 6.95. Once again, a very mouth-watering, tasty sauce with fried rice, peas, carrots, egg, green onion and strips for tender, juicy pork. Fantastic!!! I always order pork fried rice when I eat Chinese and this dish, is by far the best pork fried rice I’ve ever had! The sauce, just perfect. The rice was fragrant, floral and fried perfectly. Excellent chew and mouth feel to them. Made you crave for more, more and more after each bite. The pork was amazing, but very lightly seasoned. It was moist, juicy and in medium-large strips. This is not the finely diced, dried-out pork pieces you are used to getting elsewhere. Oh, no, no, no. But, that said, I thought the pork was under seasoned and should have had more spice and flavor. Still excellent, though. For our first order, we were blown away. Just excellent high quality food, prepared and delivered to perfection. Some improvements can be made, most were I pointed out above, but do not let that scare you away! The portions were large enough and prices were reasonable. We got 4 meals for what we ordered and we’re big eaters. Just a fantastic Chinese restaurant and the best we’ve had in years! You must try it, at least once or it’s your loss! Don’t forget to check out my pics! Eet smakelijk! :)

After shopping at Ontario Mills with some visitors from out of town, I was exhausted after outlet shopping the weekend away. We had already left the shopping mall and started heading back to the LA area and we were starving. My friend found this restaurant on Unilocal and we were all curious about the high rating and random location of this little quaint Chinese Restaurant. As we drove down the freeway, my sibling had recommended this restaurant, because of all the great reviews. The 4.5 star rating had me absolutely baffled? How could a restaurant in a tiny little strip mall be this good? I knew I had to go undercover and check it out for myself. When we got to the restaurant it was pretty quaint and well packed. We ended up ordering several different dishes on the menu. Including the following: 1. House Pan Fried Noodle– Sizzling and similar to Pad Thai in a way, and full of robust and tangy flavors. It was a pretty decent dish and we ordered it with Shrimp. 2. Spicy Eggplant– This was a GREAT vegetarian dish. Eggplant sautéed with bell peppers and onions in a savory brown sauce. It has the right amount of spice, without burning your tongue and some garlicky ginger kick to the sauce. 3. Tangerine Chicken– This was similar to Orange Chicken you find at many Chinese restaurants. It was a little sweet, but not too sweet. The chicken was stir fried with veggies and I think chunks of pineapple or some other fruit? It had a crispy crunchy coating with tender meat on the inside. 4. Shrimp with Spicy brown sauce– THISISTHEBESTDISHATTHISRESTAURANT! Shrimps sautéed with scallops, green onion and in a brown thick sauce. It was a spicy and savory Shrimp dish that tasted heavenly on top of brown rice. 5. Rice — We ordered the staple white rice and brown rice, and both of them were pretty good. This is a restaurant that serves meals«Family style» so you order several dishes and everyone shares. I hear they have a great lunch special, but I don’t work in the area, so I don’t know if I will get the chance to try it. One retired couple was sitting next to us and they said this is one of their favorite restaurants in all of the Inland Empire and its worth driving from Upland to get great Chinese food. This is a great place to visit with family, friends and to top it all off, they deliver! If you are in the IE area and looking for a good Chinese restaurant, then you may want to check this place out.
