Damn… From the moment i ordered the food this place ia wierd. The bowl is too small… The guys are stngy with noodles. The guy serving the noodles using the same globes to clean the table top and serving the noodles with his bare hands… The guys preparing food has no idea what they are doing… Great khans is a chain. I m surprised how can they didnt came to motice … The worst food ever…

Food was very bland. Tried to Season it as best as we could with soy sauce. Those bowls are ridiculous. You should see how people pile their food onto them and the noodles are all spilling out of the sides.lol. I told my BF to get Hawaiian or Mediterranean next time.

Everyone hates their job here! They’re stingy with the noodles! The men at the frying station are fucken jerks! They mix everyone’s noodles together I ended up with someone else’s noodles! Do not go here! Rather eat at Burger King! And to the tall brown hair cashier Amanda, if you’re unhappy to see people customer service isn’t for you!

After our meal my stomach felt really bad. First of all every food looked little old, especially rice and soup. And I didn’t want to eat squash, carrot and cilantro. But the workers kept rotating food on the giant pan so my food had a lot of cilantro and two big slice of carrot and squash. The stick they used for cooking looked old too! Never come back again.

I was greatly disappointed with this location. A bowl and small drink was $ 12.86. That is way too expensive for the amount of food they give you. Also, they only have about 10 different vegetables to choose from. I like the one at the Santa Anita mall way better. More variety and a bowl and large drink cost me less than the Montebello location. Never eating at the Montebello one again

One of the best places to eat at the Montebello mall food court! The food is absolutely delicious! First, you decide if you will get a drink or not when you order at the cashier since the bowls are pretty much the same size. Then, you grab your bowl on your tray and slide down the assembly line, but it is not the assembly line you may be thinking about. In this assembly line, you are building your own plate! How fun yet very productive. First thing is first, the protein or also known as your choice of meat, you can chose from chicken to beef or pork. Do not be fooled by the way the meat looks, it will turn it’s actual color once it is cooked. So you put the meat at the bottom of the bowl and then come the toppings. They have all kinds of vegetables so make your mom happy and pile up on the veggies! Keep walking down the line and you will find yourself in front of a food representative that will place a mountain of noodles on top of your piled up food! The scene is quite cool to look at. Then you can decide if you want sauce varying from, spicy, mild, bbq, lemon or garlic. After working so hard on the line it is time to give it to a cook and see your work of art be thrown on a giant stove near other people’s art works. It takes a couple minutes to cook(depending on how much you put in your bowl) and then it is GO time! Grab your new plate and take a seat at one of the many tables in the court and enjoy your delicious, hard working made food!

VERYDISAPPOINTED! I liked khan’s Mongolian food. I haven’t eat it since they closed down the one closes to my house so I came to this one hoping for some good Mongolian food. I will NOT be coming here again. First of all you pay $ 11 for just the entrée no drink. For $ 11 you can’t get your own noodleS, Ohkay I kinda get that. But you can’t even pour your own sauces!!! The employees pour them for you. The employee I had didn’t even listen or offer to the amount of sauce I wanted. I told him chili sauce and before I can tell him how much he poured a whole spoon full. Isn’t the point of Mongolian to make it your own. My Mongolian food had no flavor besides hot and dry! Never going back again!!!

This is place is pretty good for food court food. I don’t go to the Montebello mall much since I have moved, but when I do, I always have to get Mongolian barbecue. I have been coming here for a few years now and I prefer this location over Arcadia and Glendale. Price: Unfortunately, the price has been significantly rising. I believe it’s about $ 10 per bowl now. I recall when it was $ 7.5. I’m still content with paying $ 10 since it could feed my husband and I. The way you pack your bowl matters! It’s all in the technique! Service: Great! Majority of the servers are really nice and helpful. There’s two in particular that stand out — Amily and Nancy. They’re always so cheerful! I haven’t seen them in awhile though. The cooks are nice too, but they seem like they don’t enjoy their job. My only criticism is that the vegetables there run out quickly and it takes about 5 — 10 minutes for the servers to refill them. Not sure if it’s because they have to go to the kitchen to cut the vegetables…

It’s okay, too pricey for the quality of the food & they don’t give much noodles, you have to order extra for $ 2 more.

This is one of the worst Great Khan’s I’ve been to and I’ve eaten at 5 different ones. The yellow noodles are always soggy and aren’t fresh. There is also a very limited amount of choices in terms of veggies and sauces. They don’t have: mushrooms, baby bok choy, bamboo shoots, tofu, tomato and sesame oil, like they do at the GK in Arcadia… The soup also lacks good, hearty flavor… Great Kahn in Arcadia has the freshest yellow noodles and the most variety of veggies and sauces. Make a switch and see for yourself… :)

Have been here many times before and it’s been good. This last visit was upsetting every thing was fine until we got to the noodle station the girl that was putting the noodles on the meals was awful and not understanding at all.(had glasses and we think her name was Eveon. Somthing like that) She put the noodles on our bowl off center and loose causing them to slip off and land on the community tray. We let her know that the noodles had fallen(this was 30 sec after she have put the noodles) I asked if we can get replacement noddles then she said no… I asked how come if the had fallen off. She said if you want more noodles it will be 2 dollars more. She said you can just grab the the noodles with your had and Put them back on… Really !? We come here often … But thanks to that employee… We might go else where next time.

WORSTPLACEEVER! Cashier used same gloves to pick up food. It took her 20 minutes to give us noodles. And they didn’t want to refund my money when I was tired of waiting. We left our bowls there full of food and cashier didn’t even go out there to get them. DONOTEATHERE! Unsanitary.

The second five-star review in a mall food court? I must be crazy! Be fear not, I’ve passed all relevant psych analyses with flying(albeit«normal») colors. Mongolian BBQ is a beautiful thing when done right. I don’t see the hate for a place, maybe people just automatically disregard anything located in a mall food court. But for a cheap price, you can get some high quality meats, veggies, and noodles stir fried to perfection. The price of an entrée is about $ 7.75. You get a seemingly ordinary sized bowl, but it’s all in how you arrange your foods. Meats need to curl over the edge to maximize food. You can stuff the thing pretty high, and each time we’ve done it, it was more than enough to fill the two of us(and we can eat a lot!). Great value, and the food is what you make of it. Cilantro comes out amazing, and put some extra garlic in it. Also, the lines are really long… but it’s worth it.
