Happy Nails

Started off loving this place, however the last time the owner didn’t do my nails another lady did and she did not understand a single of my request and she was extremely rough! Will go back but onl of owner does my nails because she does an awesome job!

2÷10÷16 Update: Went back last night to give them a second try. Also made an appointment, was attended to right away. Service was great & they did a lovely job on my pedi. Will continue to come as location is 1block from my house. Do love that they close at 8pm & are open on Sunday’s. Tonny, thank you for following up!

First time coming here, I found it on Google need a place near my job I can go during lunch. It’s literally 2 mins away. I walked in and was seen automatically without waiting. I also was appreciative of the first timer 10% off. Lady did a great job on my gel nails. I’ll definitely be returning for my fill.

Be prepared to wait if you don’t have an appointment. Great service, they’re all so nice! She was very willing and up to any ideas I had. Love it will return!

I found out about this place because I had to get my nails done ASAP and I was short on time. I had just finished getting my hair done a few doors down and I decided to walk over to this place; knock out two birds with one stone pretty much. Hair done, nails done. Well I was very relieved once I stepped in there. The place was very clean. I complimented one of the workers because the place was very neat. I was not expecting it to be that way, honestly. The people working there were very nice!!! They greeted me with a smile. I got a mani and pedi done. I really liked the way the guy (I didn’t get his name, but he’s the only male working there). did my pedicure. He was very precise and detailed. He also took his time. have gone back two more times after that. I recommend him for pedicures. Prices are reasonable. Manicures are ok, but I recommend the pedicures here. Nice atmosphere with kind and courteous people.

The service here was not just a simple pedicure. A great massage that relaxed my muscles after a previous leg workout I had done was awesome. Everyone is so attentive and caring. Love it!

I love the service they give here, not like other places you go to and the lady’s are rude, liz the owner did my mani and pedi and I LOVED IT! Although she had 3 other girls waiting she took her time with me. Very satisfied with the service, recommend this nail salon to everyone

Great place, they ran out of the color I wanted but I chose something else. I got acrylic on my toes and they did a great job. I didn’t get any weird looks or comments like you would at most places when you ask for that service.

I been looking for a nail spa place that has pedicure with the massaging chair and this place had what I wanted. The lady did my pedicure PERFECT & CLEAN! Took her time cutting and cleaning my cuticles. Some places that I go to rush through my pedicure and the out come of it looks like I never got a pedicure done. I also got a full set by Tina, she IS AWESOME, she took her time asking me what I wanted and did it the way I wanted it. When everything was done I gave Tina and my pedicure lady a big tip it was well worth it. THEY DID MY NAILS AND TOE PERFECT FOR MY PRE-​WEDDING PHOTO SHOOT! THE PICTURES WILL TURN OUT GREAT!

I’ve been here maybe a total of 4 times over the past few years when in a rush and not able to make the time to go to a nicer/​cleaner nail salon elsewhere. I was always satisfied enough to return in these types of situations. On Monday evening, I realized I was in desperate need of a pedicure and was unable to make it out to Manhattan Beach where my favorite salon is located. I decided to get a quick pedi here and am SO sorry I did. The owner is nice enough and small talked about the weather and current events while a male staff member I had never seen before performed my pedicure. He seemed to be pretty thorough and I had no complaints until he began to really hack into my cuticles and cause a great deal of pain. This has happened to me before when getting pedicures and though it’s uncomfortable, I’ve never thought much of it because my toes have always been fine within a day or two. Unfortunately, this time was much different. By the 3^rd day, I was a great deal of pain and began to see the signs of an infection on my big toe in addition to the skin growing back over the toe nail in an unnatural way. I attempted to the remedy the situation on my own by soaking my foot in warm water, drenching it in hydrogen peroxide, and applying neosporin multiple times per day. Nothing worked and I ended up going to the emergency room on Saturday.
To make an already long story short, my pedicure at Happy Nails ($ 15 plus tip) resulted in a $ 100 trip to the ER, excrutiating pain, antibiotics, and the inconvenience of now having to keep my foot dry for days (i.e. leave my foot out of the shower) and complete the hot water/​hydrogen peroxide/​neosporin régime 3x day for the next 5 days. I am hoping to go back in to speak with the owner this morning to inform her of what has happened but do yourself a favor and STEER CLEAR OF THIS PLACE!!!
