Finally a great Thai spot on the east side of Los Angeles! My family truly enjoy this spot the food and service is fantastic! we order the Pad see is so good! it has a nice combination of beef, noodle and vegetable with a slight char flavor that i don’t get from any other place that offers the same dish. all the other dishes my family order are cooked to order and very tasty as well. The prices are slight above normal but the portion is pretty standard nothing over-sized or huge. the service here is top notch and very friendly.

I have explored many dishes here and have not been disappointed. The red curry, tom-yum soup and fried rice are delicious. I also recommend the spring rolls, the peanut sauce they serve it with is delish. The service is also very good, staff is super friendly.

I’ve ordered take out twice now and both times the people seemed really nice. The food isn’t that good. It tastes like Thai food but with less flavor. I would like this place if it had more flavor because they deliver. If you want really good Thai food I would recommend Thai Paradise. Their flavors in the yellow curry and pad see ew are way stronger. Overall okay food not the best so I’ll give them 3 stars

How can this place have good reviews when their hours aren’t even correct?!? Are people even really eating here? Or they using their friends for these reviews?! Drove by once since we were in the neighborhood and according to Unilocal, they were Open but NOPE! Store was closed! And just right now, we called a few times to place a take out order but NOANSWER! What gives?! Either fix your hours of service so we know or close this page up if you’re no longer in service! For that, we’re done with this place.

Really good, authentic Thai food. The tom yum soup is spicy, sour and perfect for a chilly evening. Today we had pad thai with chicken, basil fried rice, Nawa kabob and Nawa tod mon. The kabob and tod mon were okay and would probably be really good if eaten there because by the time I got it home they were warm but not hot. The pad thai is flavorful and they put the bean sprouts off to the side so they stay nice and crunchy. Fried rice with chicken and basil was very good with plenty of chicken. The staff is friendly and efficient. I called in the order and it was ready in 20 minutes as requested. The soup container was neatly packaged with the lid taped down to prevent spilling.

Great Thai option in the area. Love their Pad See Ew noodles. Tried them in both chicken and beef. The Pineapple Fried Rice is also one of our favorites. All dishes we have tried come with a good amount of meat. If you are in the Montebello/Monterey Park area this is a must try place.

I love this place the food is AWSOME I went when it first opened and it was my mom’s birthday and they gave her a sticky rice and mango. the restrooms were small but clean I recommend the tall Thai teas. The environment was good they treated us like family and food didn’t take that long

Dropped by since it was on my way to the hair salon. Figured why not let’s try it. We had the fried rice lunch & pat thai. Fried rice was very good. Pat thai… didn’t like it never had it before so didn’t know what to expect. This Pat Thai tasted like ketchup. Is that how it’s suppose to taste? I did ask the waitress does the Pat Thai usually taste like ketchup? She said oh I don’t know ??? Ok… Left it at that. Service was basic Another thing that was off was the cleaning cart in the middle of the floor. Will I come back yes if I’m in the area.

Great service, our server was super sweet and checked on us often. We ordered the Pad Thai and Pad See Ew as lunch special and the portions can easily feed two people each! Too bad I’m not from the area I love Thai food and I would come here often. The only thing I was disappointed with was the fact that they didn’t have any boba that day but overall I highly recommend it!!!

Nawa Thai Cuisine has wonderful food that I was very satisfied with. Unfortunately though, the service greatly damaged my experience with them. On their website, it states that they deliver to any area within 3 miles of their restaurant. I called 45 minutes before they closed and ordered for delivery. The woman on the phone told me that they wouldn’t deliver to me because it was too late. No apology for the inconvenience or further explanation. I drove to the restaurant to get the food(ten minutes after I ordered), and ended up waiting for an additional 25 minutes. I honestly don’t think they placed the order until I got there and paid. I’d recommend the food, but the experience of getting it was a headache and almost didn’t feel worth it.

Hmmm each shop has its own different taste of the same dish. So it’s hard to say it’s bad. I guess since their shop doesn’t specialize in boba, it was too mushy like it’s been in the fridge for too long. The service was good. It had enough parking for everyone. The environment of the shop is ok because of the clean up cart is out in the restaurant next to the cashier and boba togo.

I found this place on Unilocal while staying nearby at the Hilton Garden Inn in Montebello. I drove to eat dinner on a Sunday night. I was the only one in the restaurant but that was actually kind of nice. I had an order of fresh spring rolls and a bowl of tom kha gai. The spring rolls were good, but the peanut sauce did not seem that fresh to me. The soup, however, was very good. Nice and spicy too — the way I asked for it! The soup was prepared with straw mushrooms, which I like, but I didn’t taste much galangal, which I also like. The décor in here was a bit lacking, with fake plants. And there was kind of a mishmash of lighting and styles. But if you overlook that and focus on the food and friendly service, then it’s four stars. Yessir.

A friend and I stopped in here for some lunch in the middle of a bike ride because we were starving! We wanted something other that Mexican food which isn’t easy to find in this area, but thankfully this Thai place happened upon us. The service was friendly and helpful, the menu is great… lots of options and great photos to go along with the food descriptions(which always helps me decide). The restaurants exterior and interior could definitely use some sprucing up, the windows had graffiti and some unusual holes. As far as the dinning itself, we ordered the Vegetarian Pad Thai and a seafood soup which I definitely recommend, and the Thai Iced Tea was perfect!

Came here as it was the closest non-Hispanic cuisine in the area. PADTHAI with chicken — not the best I’ve had — tasted like a blend of ketchup and the peanut pad thai sauce — definitely more noodles than protein ratio — at least there was enough noodles for me to have 2 other meals! SERVICE: Our server came by a couple times to see how we were doing. It’s nice that they box your leftovers but since we were in a rush we just did it ourselves. ENVIRONMENT: seems like it used to be a diner that they converted. The place is quite spacious but the décor could use a bit more work. Nonetheless was seated spaciously and was able to enjoy my meal. Overall, decent pricing with the typical Thai varieties. The food didn’t impress me and I doubt I’d be coming back soon. If I was in the area and looking for Thai food, I wouldn’t mind coming back again.

This place has the best Pad Prik Khing(one of my favorite Thai Dishes). That’s pork, chicken, shrimp, beef or a combo of these meats with green beans all in a red chili curry sauce. pretty spicy! The women in the kitchen are Thai and they cook everything according to their northern Thai recipes. That equals amazing! My favorite dish so far though is the Tom Yum Noodle(egg noodle) soup. It’s your classic tom yum broth with egg noodle, Fish ball, bean sprouts, crushed peanuts and ground pork. They also add in some cilantro. You can order this hefty bowl in medium spicy or very spicy. Other notable mentions are the teriyaki beef(sort of sweet) with sesame seeds, broccoli, sliced carrots and cilantro. This is also served with a whopping mound of steamed white rice. Their Pad Thai is really a jewel as well, a little on the sweet side! Pad See Ew is also well executed. They have all of the popular dishes as well such as Yom Yum soups of a variety, Chicken, pork or beef satay, Chicken Teriyaki Plates AND even salmon with basil leaves! Wow. Pad Kee Mao, AKA drunken noodle, is very popular here for the spicy food fanatics like me. Fried rice? Check. Chow Mein? Check. And finally, their curry! Omg their curry! It’s some of the best around. Seriously. Green curry being my favorite. It’s unlike the typical curry you’d expect at any other Thai place. This place has it all, and at a fairly decent price! Most everything on the menu is around $ 8.50. Their Thai iced tea and rare Green Thai iced tea is really good… that green Thai iced tea reminds me of green tea bubble gum lol. Those are $ 2.50. Very reasonable! This place is relatively new to the area, they’ve been open for just over a year. The service has always been really great, always attentive to the guests. They have delivery(within 3 miles) and it’s free with a purchase of $ 25 or more and even do catering! Free Wifi(ask for password). All in all, If you’re looking for authentic and fresh great tasting Thai food in the Montebello/Monterey Park area, look no further than Beverly and Wilcox’s big neon orange colored Nawa Thai Cuisine! You will not be disappointed.

New Thai restaurant in Montebello! This one is close to home so we had to try it. We’re doing take out today, but the restaurant is bright and clean. Seating is limited(about 50). The layout of the restaurant is interesting. It doesn’t utilize the space they have efficiently. A huge counter serving as the hostess stand sits as the center point of the restaurant with the tables parked up against the exterior windows. Lots of wasted space in the middle. Patrons awkwardly stand in the middle of the restaurant waiting to be seated(or waiting for to-go orders like me) as there is no formal waiting area. On to the food. We were given a 20 minute wait time for pad see ew, crab fried rice, garlic seafood, fresh egg rolls, and fried egg rolls. Pad See Ew — Was OK. I’ve had better. It could’ve used more soy sauce, but at least it wasn’t greasy like other places I’ve been to. Crab Fried Rice — a bit on the bland side. Could’ve used a bit more salt for my tastes. Garlic Seafood — This one was actually pretty good. It was the most flavorful out of everything we ordered. From this part of the menu, you pick a sauce and then a meat. Our Garlic Seafood consisted of shrimp, fish, squid, and imitation crab. That was the only thing holding this dish back. Imitation crab is NOT seafood. Fried egg rolls were standard faire. Crispy and not too oily. The«fresh» egg rolls were not fresh. We asked if they could make them without pork and were promptly informed they were pre made at the beginning of the day. You could tell they were refrigerated as the rice paper was cold and rubbery. Not very good. Overall it wasn’t a bad experience, but I will say I’ve never had bad Thai food. I wish I could like this place more since it’s so close. I’m willing to give it another try. For now, I’ll chalk it up to them being brand new and still adjusting.
