This is a 24 hour establishment that I’ve been going to for a couple decades and I loved the fact that I can head down there at 11pm in the evening when I’ve got that sudden urge for donuts. Most of the time, the service is great and they’re really nice, though this is usually during daytime hours. I called earlier to make sure the place was STILL24 hours and no one answered the phone. I noticed from my townhouse that their lights were still on so I chanced it and headed over. This is the first, I’ve visited Sunshine donuts in the late evening and I was helped by a male employee who didn’t acknowledge my presence because he was busy talking on his blue tooth earpiece. And when he did finally come out to help me, he was still talking on his earpiece so I when I placed my order, I had to repeat myself several times. His demeanor was indifferent. It made me feel like I was wasting his time trying to hurry so that he can focus on the personal phone call that he was on. The customer behind me noticed his demeanor as well. I would have given this 5 stars if it weren’t for the employee whose time I apparently wasted.

Yummy Thai Iced Tea. 32 Oz for $ 3 is a bargain. Not too much ice which is great. Alot of people ordering sandwiches so I will order that later this week, with my Tea!

The donuts are ehh. The croissants are delicious especially the one with ham & cheese inside. I’d would buy it every day but then I’d be a chunky butt. I honestly wouldn’t recommend the boba milk tea or the boba Thai tea. Major thumbs down! The employees greet you when you come in and they’re friendly but there English isn’t great so you might end up repeating some words to them.

Sorry, Can’t say I agree with the other posts. The chocolate covered twist tasted like an egg roll and the café mocha tasted like watered down plastic. Save your money.

DELICIOUS! is what I have to say about their ham and cheese croissant with jalapeños and a LARGE Thai tea boba! There was a time I was eating this mouthwatering combo 2 – 3 times a week before someone bursted my bubble saying I getting big hehe :(. Anyway, the service here is very nice, their donuts are delicious and their prices are very reasonable sometimes they even hustle you more donuts than you need for less money! Also, their smoothies are good too!

I’ve lived around the corner from this place for years and have never went there… my kids walk there all the time. So at work we have Donut Thursdays and it was my turn to bring them in. So I went on Unilocal and read the reviews. I have to agree with the other reviews. The young girl working was very friendly and fast. It was so busy in there, and she was able to multi-task. I brought the donuts in to work and they were ALLGONE within 30 mins. The price was awesome. I ordered a dozen donuts and a bagel for less then $ 10. That’s a deal to me! They have it all there; sandwiches, boba teas, cigarettes, swishers, chips, candy, condoms, scratchers, the whole 9. Its a one stop shop. The only thing is they only accept cash BUT they have an ATM machine in there.

Sunshine Donuts you have won over my heart with your sandwiches. The owner lady(one I mentioned in previous review) started recognizing me each time I went in there, and now we are chums. Just the other day she was telling me all about her and her daughter’s lives in America. Very sweet lady once you get to talk to her. Get their tuna sandwich. I am proud to be their duke, and will fight any and all of you peons that try and take my title. I am woman hear me roar! *Arf, arf, arf*

I was super super –almost fainted– hungry and glad I found this place. This small place was crowded with customers. People came in and out non-stop. Cantonese songs were playing when I walked in there. I was the only Asian customer @ this donut shop, most of them were Hispanic. They sell smoothies, sandwiches(pastrami, roast beef), cup noodles, phone cards, lottery, ice cream and even cigarettes. They have ATM machine there so you don’t have to worry if you have no cash with you. I got myself my favorite plain sugar donut. It was kinda yum. 3.5 stars! Sunshine Donut is kinda yummylicious!

Ah, nothing like the sweet smell of fried dough with the aroma of coffee brewing up to wake you up and commence a tough twelve hour work day! I’ve lived in Montebello for quite some time now and have never stepped into this dounut shop until now. Wow! I should have come here sooner! Everything looks and smells fantastic. You could smell the sweet scent of the dough and strong aroma of coffee almost a block away from the street of Poplar. It seems that this place is a local favorite. I saw a lot of regulars come in and the workers knew them by name and what their usual was. I bought, for my coworkers, the variety pack for about $ 7, and two bagels with cream cheese(which were made fresh, toasted, and smothered with cream cheese just right!). This place also sells sandwiches(which seems great for breakfast or lunch) and are very economical priced(not going over $ 5), and they also have ice cream and boba teas. Once I got to my office… my coworkers attacked the donut box. Therefore, I would like to say that these donuts were really delicious!
