Great place in little ol Montello. Every time we come to the bar it’s warm and inviting. This is my favorite place in the area to watch a game.
The food is good too especially the pizza. The thin crust is my favorite.
Spending a day here is especially fun because the view of the lake is amazing and there are games like horse shoes and volleyball you can play. There is also a beach and a bar on the beach that’s open seasonally.
Recently we just stayed in one of the log cabins for the weekend. They are cozy and have all the essentials. It’s lovely to wake up with such a great view and a bar/​restaurant just steps away. Also we brought our boat up to go duck hunting and fishing. Lake access was easy and there were plenty of ducks and fishies to be had :)
We will be back many many times.
