Fresh juice in Monterey Park?! Whaat?! Finally a drinks place that is NOT boba! I came here with my GF after a day out and she wanted something refreshing since it was a really nice and hot day in SoCal. This place is actually inside Kiki’s Bakery in case you were wondering. They have various drink mixes in their menu but you can pick and choose whatever you want as well. We got Kale, Apple, Orange and Celery and it was pretty delicious — it made me feel healthy. The guy working behind the counter is pretty friendly. Cash Only! And parking is always a hassle in that little plaza!

a big MEH, rushed over here on my short lunch break(it’s located INSIDE kiki bakery, the counter further back) only to find 3 workers who paid no mind to me as i waited in front of the counter after i got someone’s attention & ordered the«mix any 2» fruit/veggie drink, they informed me that ONLY the menu drinks #1−3 were available which means they have a small selection of produce on hand –number 1: it was good but for almost $ 5 i would rather have been able to customize! NOTE: CASHONLY

King of Juice is a pretty cool spot, introducing the wonderful world to LA’s favorite new fad: juicing. I never really juiced before and I always find that I get better juice at places rather than making it at home. Maybe I’m making it wrong. I really like their green juice — which is their apples, ginger, carrot, celery, and something else. I forget! I love all their juices here & it’s a reasonable price. This is so different from Pressed Juicery because the owner makes it fresh. You can even watch him make it! His fruits and veggies are always in stock and I think there’s something about watching people make your food because you know exactly what is going inside. I actually had two of their juices here in one day! I had their green juice, then I had their beet juice an hour later. I heard the red one is good for detox so get that if you need a little detox! It is located in the same store as Kiki bakery. Eat some carbs, then drink some juice to down it all. Perfect.

Buy 2 get one free special gets you(3) 16oz juices for under $ 10. Can’t beat that. I usually get similar juices at Jamba that run for about $ 6 – 7 each for a 16oz. King Juice chops up all the fruits/veggies in front of you and then sends them into the juicer. Add ice and enjoy.

It’s not the best I’ve ever had, but its a pretty sweet deal compared to fancy pressed juices which cost about $ 7 a bottle. It is located in the back of KiKi’s bakery so we parked in the back parking lot where there is ample parking. You can get three 16 oz drinks for less than $ 10 if you check in on Unilocal. Two of them have to be the same, but the third free one can be different. They don’t take too long to make the drinks. We got two of the Green Power Juice #1 and one of the ABC Juice #3. The menu was mostly all in Chinese, but I consulted Unilocal reviews to figure out whats good. I liked the Green Power more than the ABC cause I’m not that big of a fan of beets. My boyfriend liked both drinks. We’ll try other juice places before coming back here, but I think this place is pretty good.

I recently discovered King of Juice maybe a month ago and since then i’ve been so relieved because finding them SO close to work and home. Here at King Juice: your juice is made fresh to order, and ONLY $ 4.25 for a 16 oz drink– the pricing is compassionate and cannot be beat. The other plus is this juicebar is inside Kiki Bakery. Very friendly, professional service. Lastly, I’ve been several times a week for the past few weeks and they have not ever had any inventory issues w/fruits and veggies like other juicebars in the area seem to have. They are always well stocked w/fruit. Inexpensive, and reliable. :)

I had a dental procedure which prohibited me from eating solids for a few days so I was on a liquid diet which involved a lot of juice. I am so glad that I came across King of Juice. Fresh juices usually cost an arm and a leg but the ones here are under $ 4 and I was able to get one free when purchasing two and checking in on Unilocal.I tried the ABC and the Green Power and both were amazing and not gross in a vegetable/beet type of way. They oxidize quickly so make sure to drink it right away. Cash only!

Inside the Kiki Bakery is this little juice bar gem. Juice bars are so LA and this one is really good. The barista was super nice. He was kind enough to introduce the drinks offered. They have several SIGNATURE drinks and I went with the Apple, Beets, Celery and Ginger. You can’t really taste the ginger, maybe because I enjoy the taste of ginger and all the other ingredients in my drink made it super yummy. You may want to try the signature ABC, same as above only the ginger is replaced with lemon. All in all, I would definitely come back for a splash of healthy after all the food devoured in MPK.

A pretty decent juice bar hidden in the Kiki Bakery(just walk into the bakery store and you won’t miss the King of Juice counter). You have the option of choosing 6 signature combinations($ 4.25 each) or you can just create your own juice(4 different bases — apple, orange, celery, and cucumber with 11 different add-ons). Once you’ve order your drinks(and don’t forget to show Unilocal check-in deal), the staff will toss all the fresh vegetables /fruits into this juicer(doesn’t look like a cold-pressed juicer) and there you go! *Yelp check-in deal description: «1 Free juice buy TWO exact same juice»(translation: three drinks with only two choices). *** Green Power(Apple, Kale, Celery, Carrot — $ 4.25): Can’t really taste the bitterness from both kale and celery(so that was good) and the overall drink was slightly sour(mainly due to apple).(3.5÷5) A-OKC(Apple, Orange, Kale, Cucumber — $ 4.25): Tasted a bit more concentrated than Green Power. I liked Green Power a bit more than A-OKC. Nonetheless, I still think the drink wasn’t too shabby.(3.5÷5) *** The taste itself was slightly above average. 3.5-star for the drinks — but bump up to 4-star due to the Unilocal check-in deal. P. S. — There are few tables you can sit and enjoy your drinks

This place is hidden under a bakery so it took a while for me to find the place. I had orange, apple, celery and kale. The juice turned out to be really good and i liked the apple flavor in there. However, it was too hard to find parking there and plus this place is super hard to find so i doubt if i will come here often later on.

Ehh, used the Unilocal deal to obtain 3 drinks, it’s a buy 2 get 1 free deal but the third one has to be the same as one of the first two! So don’t forget to check in guys! So basically, the only reason why I even found this place was because of Unilocal, other than that I don’t see any sign of a sign or a banner or anything. When we walked it and saw the counter for it EVERYTHINGWASINDAMNCHINESE. Do you only want Chinese customers? I can’t understand squat and I’m ¼ Chinese! So essentially, I could only order what was in English. which was the first three juices, but ALAS he said I could only order two if I wanted the free check in juice. So I asked him which was the most popular or the best and he said the first one(Green Power) and the third one an Antioxidant. Onto the actual juices — the Green Power Juice #1, tasted like your average juice — it didn’t blow me away at all, it was good but nothing special about it. Luckily we got two of these because the third one was pure nasty.): The third one was this red juice that was super sour(which I usually love, I LOVESOURSTUFF) but this one just threw me off, my boyf had to drink most of it because I wouldn’t touch it after one sip. For 9 dollars for three small juices INCLUDING the Unilocal Check In Deal? I don’t think that’s worth it. Also, they took a pretty long time to make my juices, and we were the only ones there. But that’s just my complaint ’cause I’m an impatient person.

If you are coming here for the first time, just look for Kiki Bakery. I circled around for a bit because I didn’t realize this place shared a space inside the bakery. There is a small sign on the window but it’s difficult to see unless you’re right in front of it. There’s street parking along Garfield and shared parking lot behind the building. Front entrance is on Garfield and back entrance is by the parking lot. The fresh pressed juices are fairly standard when compared against many of the ones in OC and LA but there aren’t too many of these places in this area. Price seems slightly lower than most other places and you only need to get 8 stamps before you get a free drink, instead of 10. The ingredients are typical and include some combination of apples, beet, ginger, kale, celery, lemon, and carrots in most of its menu items. You can also create your own juice by mixing any two items. Most of the juices on the menu are $ 4.25+tax. I have tried all four items on the blackboard menu and my favorite is the Daily Special Juice. I thought the daily special meant it changes from day to day but I think this is the actual name of the juice because it’s been the same every time I came in. It has apple, beet, ginger, and lemon. Not only does it taste the best, it also costs less. It’s just $ 3.75+tax. Antioxidant ABC has almost the same ingredients except it has celery instead of ginger, but the ginger makes a big difference for me. I really don’t like beet, but the combination and quantity of ingredients in Daily Special Juice are perfect. It’s sweet with a light floral scent and doesn’t have that earthy taste from beet. This is pretty much all I order now when I come here. Service has been prompt and courteous each time. I usually see the same guy working here. I think he’s also the owner. I noticed he always washes his hand before making juice, which is a definite plus. This should be expected but I’ve caught some places that don’t. There are other drinks like hot tea and coffee but I just come for the juice. Some of the items are written in Chinese so I can’t read them. Menu is somewhat scattered. There are other items beside the ones on the blackboard but I didn’t notice them until recently.

I think I’m going to like this place! I had the detox drink, inside it had beets, celery, apples, and ginger. It taste pretty good. The price is decent for a good natural juice like this. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. Can’t wait to go back for more! P.s. This place is located inside Kikis bakery. Also, just a heads up it’s cash only!

I used to live in the OC but now in live in the 626. one huge difference– the OC is crazing about juicing, acai, and pitaya 626– boba, boba, and more boba I love my share of milk tea but honestly i’ve really missed my juices and acai bowls(which i have yet to find here in monterey park or surrounding areas) This place was pretty hard for me to find but i’m glad i eventually found it :) TIP– it’s located INSIDE kiki’s bakery I got the«green power» which came highly recommended to me by the guy who worked there. it had celery, carrots, kale, and apples. sounded gross to me at firsy but oddly refreshing and delicious! it was about $ 4.35 with tax and everything which is pretty average among these healthy juice places :) i will definitely be back! also they give out stamp cards so buy 8 drinks, get 1 free :)

I like this place, but I honestly can’t say that this is the best or amazing juice place that I’ve ever had since I’m spoiled by Kure Juice Bar. QUALITY: As far as juicing goes, it’s made to order and the ingredients are pretty fresh. Execution-wise they do it well and the ingredients are pretty fresh, but the combinations are very basic such that whatever ingredients they list on their menu, you’ll taste straight up individually. Again, their drinks are very straightforward and basic. Frankly, I think it’s good to have these establishments around as a healthier alternative to the whole boba culture. Ideally though, I’d want to see more elaborate recipes.

Juice cleansing has been popular in LA for at least a couple years, but the trend has not quite reached Monterey Park yet. King of Juice is the pioneer of healthy juicing in MPK, a city where sugary boba drinks and syrup-flavored teas have dominated the Asian scene for over a decade. The last time I stopped at a local boba shop, the owner informed me that all drinks are flavored with syrups and powders because it is the type that customers prefer. Even the watermelon juice was prepared with artificial ingredients! It’s unfortunate that the youth are still consuming high calorie drinks these days. King of Juice aims to be the opposite, by squeezing fresh fruits and vegetables through a cold press juicer to extract healthy and refreshing potions. Their juicer is not a centrifugal juicer that may be common in households, where a fast spining blade generates heat and oxidizes the nutrients contained in the blended ingredients. King of Juice uses an Omega slow juicer that yields juice with pulp and retains most of the ingredient’s nutrients during the process. Their signature drink is called the ABC(apple, beet, celery, tomato) that supplies our bodies with antioxidants and boosts immunity. There are other drinks that incorporate kale, celery, and beets which help with digestion and detox. The most important feature of this juice bar is that only natural ingredients are used, all fruits and veggies are sliced only to order, and there is no additional sugar added to each drink. It tastes natural. The daily special is $ 3.75, competitively priced with milk tea at Half and Half. Juice bars are a win-win business in my opinion, and I hope that they expand in the MPK area. For customers, juice bars make it convenient to drink the daily nutrients needed and to maintain overall health. For business owners, cold press juice is equally as profitable as milk tea with fewer competitors in the area. Fun fact: Do not panic if your pee is red after consumption of beet juice, it’s natural, it’s not your period.
