This place is so terrible. Old, dirty and smelly. Omg also over priced on the old single load washer. The owner there is a old rude cheap guy don’t want to spend any money to fix up the place. Seem like no one taking care the place. The ground alway wet and dirty also a lot of broken down machine. NOT RECOMMENDED… STAY AWAY.

Visiting a friend in Alhambra, we decided to stop by here because it was empty and on the way to have some dinner nearby. I tried to convince him that Monterey Park was as unusual option and that this place was less than fitting (see pics). He was attempting to do a large comforter that just would not fit into his washer at his condo. Unfortunately, this serendipitous empty laundromat was really a big mistake. Several washers were out of order, the place stank of sweat and sewage, and filthy garage and human waste lay around the place. My next order of business was to report them to the Monterey Park health department for running an unsafe business.

three video game machines. one working tv. prices went up 50¢ a few months ago. manager is only on site during the day. most of the time, there is a janitor who keepa the place tidy. best times to wash is late nights as the rate of customers drop. not sure if the surveillance cameras still work or not as the monitors have been turned off. at least it is open 24hrs a day.

Came here for the first time today while mom was at a Drs Appointment.
Washing machines are overpriced and ancient.
Dryers go for 10min, not 15 like someone else mentioned and you need like 5 quarters to dry 1 load.
This place is beyond useless.
Arcade machines aren’t even on, no one is around to help.
Find another place to spend an hour.
Not here.

OPEN 24 HOURS! They also have 24 hours surveillance for your protection.
SERVICE:
Hands down the best service! The employee was going around helping everyone when they had a few questions and needed help with the machines.
She was constantly working non-​stop from the time I got there and left. (About 3 hours) She was sweeping, mopping, scrubbing and wiping down the machines, and repeated. There wasn’t a moment where she stopped to take a break.
ENVIRONMENT:
There are televisions, vending machines, video game machines, and seating around so you won’t be bored while waiting. Time flew by quickly while I was there. The place is extremely clean. People are constantly coming in and out but it is never crowded at a specific time.
$ 0.75 for detergent. There is a change machine that accepts $ 1, $ 5, $ 10, and $ 20 bills. I felt like I hit the jackpot on the slot machine when I put in my $ 20 bill.
WASHING MACHINES:
Ranges from $ 1.50 to $ 5.50 depending on your wash load.
DRYERS:
$ 0.25 for every 15 minutes to dry your clothes. Be careful because the dryer is extremely hot when it is finished!
