Where to start… first of all, dr. sunde is not only exceptional at his level of skill but he «takes his time»… i elected for neck surgery… i am 72 years old and my neck has bothered me since i was in my 50s… it was pretty bad … i’ve always known that i would only go to dr. sunde as i’d asked around for years and finally took the plunge … let me tell you, i was very concerned about the the level of pain i should expect as i have a very low tolerance for pain and a high tolerance for meds … in other words, my sensitivity to pain is higher than most peoples… dr. sunde took care of that and i actually had no pain during and after the procedure… dr. sunde also makes house calls … he visited me three times at home and one of those times was when he couldn’t reach me because my phone was off the hook due to playful kittens and he was concerned… it was most comforting to know that he truly cared about how i was feeling… this, by the way, was at 9:00 at night… dr. sunde did a remarkable job on my neck… the results are way beyond what i expected… i am so pleased with the results that there are no words … no more looking for just the right scarf to hide my neck … now i can wear a necklace too… i also must comment on dr. sunde’s hand-​picked staff… maureen, meagan, catherine, and leticia… all professional, caring and friendly … it’s just a lovely atmosphere and it’s clean !!! if you are a candidate for cosmetic surgery, consult with dr. sunde… you won’t regret it … he is the BEST!

Dr. Sunde has been winner countless years for Best Plastic Surgeon of the Year in Monterey, and honestly, he deserves it. He was recommended to me by my family physician and two physical therapists as well, to correct an uncomfortable issue that I had lived with for years. After interviewing another surgeon who was quite nice as well, I decided on Dr. Sunde because I felt that I was in the presence of someone who is calm, cool and collected and would not take any unnecessary risks. Fast forward 7 months, and I can tell you that I am very very happy with my results. I also feel I should mention, Maureen, Dr Sunde’s office manager who always was there for me if I had a question, and believe me, some of them were pretty silly. I always felt that I had the entire office behind me if I ever needed them. I highly recommend Dr. Sunde and his office, they are the gold standard for any area as far as I’m concerned, not just Monterey County.
