Very Happy I found this place. I a small nursery with excellent customer service, everyone very knowledgeable. We have been looking for a tree and this was the only place that was able to help us get exactly what we needed. They deliver.

Went there for the first time today. I had called earlier in the week to order some trees and was very happy to learn that they could have them at the nursery in just a few days. They received them on Friday as promised, and called me to let me know they were ready. We stopped by the nursery today to pick them up and the staff was so nice… we got a warm welcome the moment we stepped foot into the nursery and enjoyed browsing. I will definitely be back and probably will be ordering all my plants through them from now on. Every single plant in the place was healthy and beautiful, and the property looked well cared for. I recently had a not so great experience at a different nursery in Salinas so I was very happy today at Drought Resistant Nurseries — the whole transaction, from first phone call, to their follow up, to picking up and paying today was so effortless.

Excellent service, realizing that I was helping my 81 year old grandfather plant a tree that had a permit deadline the drought resistant nursery did everything they could to help me with this mammoth tree. We are so grateful and will always send business their way. The tree will be an excellent place for the great grand kids to have a treehouse in some day.

Évaluation du lieu : 5 Seaside, CA
This place is a real find. It stocks all of the drought tolerant plants you see in one of those Sunset books showing the perfect garden for a world where water is scarce. This is not your down and dirty Home Depot nursery section, where the employees usually have no clue about what they are selling, much less the site to put it in, or how much or little water it needs, or how much or little sun.
Instead the Drought Resistant Nursery has a core of very knowlegeable employees who actually give you intelligent suggestions. If you live in the sand hills of Seaside, they have the unique plants for that environment, as well as the plants for the clay like soils often found elsewhere on the Peninsula. Fleur?(sic) is a jewel of a nurseryperson who always has a clever solution to unique needs. Their stock of salvias is expecially broad. In the long run they will save you money by reccomneding plants that will thrive and survive, rather than the often wrong choice from the Home Depot type of place. As our water gets increasingly scarce and expensive, this is the type of business that I hope will do well. Let’s keep them going. A little off the beaten track between the Naval Postgraduate School and El Estero. Always a fun place to visit and get ideas.
