Edible Arrangements

My husband got me an edible arrangement and it was beautiful, fresh and delicious! I hear it is under new management and everything was very smooth when my husband placed his order.

I came in and met Andrea. She is very kind and bubbly. She was super helpful. She helped me a lot on what I needed when it came to a good anniversary gift for my parents. I’ll be coming back for sure!

I normally wouldn’t take the time to even do this, but I felt I needed to in a way warn other customers. I am actually happy I did come to Unilocal because after reading previous reviews I see this has happened before and this EA location really needs to step up their customer service. I placed my order online so when delivery day came my order was incomplete and missing things I paid for. The only way I even knew this happen was I randomly asked the receiver what they delivered. Then when I called they asked to deliver it the next day. I’m sorry her birthday isn’t tomorrow it’s today that is why I picked that specific day for delivery. Then when asked about my refund the worker begins to tell me I don’t know if that will happen! Long story short had I not asked I wouldn’t have know I didn’t get the items that I paid for!

I have to say I was very impressed when I went into Edible Arrangements, everybody was very friendly as soon as I walked in. I made a small order for a friend due I wanted to see what this was about because I had never bought anything from there. I was so impressed I bought a larger order online had them deliver and it was awesome. For people that know me know I do not eat fruit, but I ordered an arrangement for friends and they loved it.
It doesn’t get any better then this. Thank you for a great in house and online experience, I will be buying more gifts from you soon. :)

I read the reviews but I decided to give them a shot. WOW TALK ABOUT GREAT SERVICE. The staff is knowledgeable in arrangements, friendly, and listened to what I wanted. I’m very pleased on my order. My loved one was amazed by the arrangement. Better than buying flowers because you can eat this delicious, juicy, fresh made to order arrangements. I’m a customer for life.

I love Edible Arrangements. However this store is absolutely horrible. Don’t expect timely delivery nor customer service. They keep on lying and delay the delivery date and they don’t own their mistake. I agree with Jahan J’s comment. The store manager Quie was extremely rude and not professional at all. Timothy answered the phone first and he claimed that he is one of the managers then when Quie answered the phone she dismissed it. My experience with this store was so bad and I am not going to order anything from Edible Arrangements. Very sad indeed.

Barely can give them a star. Don’t call in an order because people there don’t know what they are doing. I had to place an order directly because I wanted a graduation base for for an arrangement to be delivery on Thursday. I called on Tuesday. The woman I spoke to said she was the store manager or owner. We discussed all the details of what I wanted. I gave her my number and the person who the delivery was going to. We discussed possible time for delivery. Everything seemed good to go. Let me point out, this was for my Godson who I couldn’t be there for his graduation. I wanted to make up for it with chocolate covered fruit and balloons! Well, nothing delivered! I called fist thing the next day. The guy first couldn’t find my order. Next a manager
got on the line and said «yeah, you deserve a refund». I deserve a refund!!! Of course, you didn’t delivery anything! Lastly, the owner got on the phone — was rude and said well I will refund you, sorry. Then proceed to tell me she is only in a few times a week. And she doesn’t know what happened nor did she care to understand why? She hurried me off the phone — didn’t want to hear how disappointed and mad I was. I truly feel as a business owner, first spend time in your business and know what your employees are doing and saying. Next, a little customer service and empathy would be nice. And perhaps offer more than 6 chocolate strawberries «as the best that I can do, and you pick them up». I don’t live in Monterey but she didn’t care. Some people really need a course in running a business and how word of mouth and reviews can hurt them. Also, the franchise probably won’t be happy to see this either.
BTW– I do not want anything for free. I just wanted a sincere apology and the respect of being a paying customer. Sadly none were given!

I literally created a Unilocal to write this review to warn people to not order online from this store in Monterey in particular. I love Monterey, but something is not in line at the Edible Arrangements store. I’m from Monterey area, and I now live in LA, college student at UCLA, and I wanted to give my mom a special treat for Mother’s Day 2015. It was the least I could do. I ordered a $ 83.57 arrangement online, to have it delivered on Sunday. It was not cheap by any means, but of course, mom’s deserve more than what money could ever buy. I continued to ask my mom if she received anything all day yesterday, and she finally emailed the Edible Arrangements store. They were incredible rude to her, on Mother’s day, and said, «Well, we ran out of fruit, so it might not be on the truck, I can’t tell, and if it’s not there by 9PM, we’ll bring it tomorrow» WHAT THE HECK is the purpose of the next day delivery? The purpose of buying this was to get my mother a nice little treat to enjoy on Mother’s Day!!! Not the day after! It’s not even «Not on time» She never even received the goddamn gift. I just want a refund, but these reviews are saying that I most likely won’t get a refund. I’m going to try anyways because they ruined a gift for my mother on Mother’s day, and that’s unbelievably disappointing.
I am trying not to sound like this was the worst online service ever, but, quite honestly, it was. In addition to this order, I had one more. They delivered it without my «note» so the person who received my present thought it was anonymous and did not receive my note of appreciation.
What is with this store. Come on. Represent Monterey better people! Customer service is everything!

I highly recommend this place. Ive ordered from them several times and they’ve always exceeded an have went over and beyond with their customer service for me. Their chocolate dipped fruit baskets are wonderful and AMAZING also a great and healthy way to give that special someone something that is worried about their diet or just someone who enjoys fruit. Love them will order from them anytime !!!

Do not do business with these people they are shady. Bad customer service, all they want is your money. Your order will arrive late and when you try to get a refund they will argue with you instead of helping you figure things out. These people are shady. My gift got to its destination around 5pm when i ordered it around 9:00am. Fruits are bad and rotten. Go somewhere else to get a gift, i wouldnt recommend this location. Horrible customer service, rude people.

I see that I am not the only person to have issues with this location. Long story short, I had to speak to a supervisor in their customer care department to get my refund, which has been over 2 weeks. I never write reviews but I am a frequent visitor of Unilocal and I thought I should share my experience. They never delivered my arrangement and when the supervisor from customer care contacted this location, they lied and said I had called the store and said I would pick the arrangement up (I never said that). I spoke to a manager at the location (AFTER I was told that they said I was going to pick up the arrangement) by the name of Virginia and she was VERY rude to say the least. I am disgusted with this place. This is the short version of my experience. I will never work with them again.

Received as a gift from this location, and truly it IS the THOUGHT that counts. The gift itself was awful. Not sure that choc. dipped apples have a fighting chance at tasting delicious, and they didn’t. Strawberries were bruised and soggy, yuck. Save your money, get a true friend something else.

I decided to get a box of chocolate dipped fruit as a business gift. I did not order online as I was in a time crunch. I drove to the store a little early to ensure I got there when they opened. The associate was running 15 minutes late due to traffic.
When I ordered my gift box, I was advised I could not pay with credit card because internet was down. There goes using the company card for the business gift. No biggie, I have cash. I order the item I want, 20 minutes go by and the associate comes out to tell me they do not have any strawberries left. It would take at least 20 minutes for them to arrive. I swapped them for bananas instead. Order is finally ready and I pay cash. Upon asking for a receipt, the printers are also down so I can not get one until the following day. I need one to get reimbursed from my job.
The associate was nice throughout the process, however the experience was overall really bad. To top it off, I grabbed the manager’s business card and sent her an email that day, NEVER RECEIVED A REPLY. Funny thing is she had to email me my receipt.

When I am in Monterey, I visit this edible arrangements for their smoothies! My favorites are the refresher fruit drink and kale smoothie.

Couldn’t have asked for better service or quicker delivery! Thank you for making it happen. I made an online order for a same-​day delivery today at 7am and the arrangements were delivered at 10:30am. I didn’t expect it so early but I did love that it did. You’re amazing, Virginia :)

I went in last minute to send my daughter an arrangement for the same day delivery and the staff there were very helpful and helped ensure my arrangement was delivered that day. Kind staff and fresh fruit. This will be my store preference for gifts going forward. Plus they have smoothies!

Fresh and delicious! Very friendly staff. If you are looking for a healthy yummy gift or just looking for a snack for yourself, stop by this shop. I highly recommend. You will not be disappointed.

It is clear that the staff take pride in their work by using fresh fruit. The shop is always clean and inviting. I was so happy when they opened a shop in Monterey. Finally we have a healthy option for all to partake in. That’s hard to find when the latest crave includes cupcakes and fried desserts.
So let’s show our support for healthy clean living. Reach for the fruit pass up on the sugary fatty treats packed with preservatives!

Love this store! Always inviting and they have arrangements ready for pick up if you need a last minute gift. The fruit arrangements are fresh, delicious, and beatiful. I have ordered arrangements for delivery as gifts from this store several times and always got good feed back from the recipients.
I was pretty surprised to see such poor reviews. This store offers more than just arrangements, they have smoothies, fruit parfaits, fruit sundaes, and individually dipped fruits if you just want a quick snack.
I often stop in on Tuesdays during Farmer’s Market just for a smoothy. The smoothies are made with freshly squeezed juice, agave nectar, and ice. They are very refreshing.
I also noticed there has been new faces in the store recently so I inquired and was told the store was under new management and hired some new staff. The staff stated they were excited about upcoming events and new ideas for this locally owned and operated store.
I will definitely continue supporting this locally owned and operated store and will recommend them to others.

Bought a $ 70 arrangement to be delivered (online, so there is no chance I botched verbally the date via phone). They delivered a day early – fruit is quite perishable, you know. My friend arrived to receive a wilted, rotted arrangement. No problem, I thought – I’ll call to ‘make it right’! Nope. Rude staff refused to acknowledge the mistake, and so here’s my first negative review I’ve ever offered online due to the staggeringly bad service this establishment offers. I’d suggest that creativity is a good quality in a gift, but to steer clear of this place if you are looking to express yourself – could wind up disappointing and gross.
