Elements Day Spa

I have been a client for 10 years. Eyebrows, facials and skincare. Kari is the best. A beautiful environment complimented by expert care. Kari is a professional. It’s no surprise when in casual conversation I find that someone I know is already a client of hers.

My once a month indulgence and Kari is always amazing. She really cares about her customers and takes the time to explain about how are aging body works. After a recent ankle injury, she was able to massage out my leg and made my entire ankle feel better. She even showed me stretches to keep my ankle healing. As always, thank you Kari.

This is an update for my recently posted yet OLD review! By now I have been a client for YEARS! This should say something, I am very picky! Elements is a great spa, and Kari is simply amazing. Whether you live in Monterey and want a skin care solution for the long run and for your life style or want a real treat during a visit, you will not be disappointed!
Been there once and planning to return soon! Kari is fantastic! She is knowledgeable and truly cares about improving the health of your skin. She won’t sell you a bunch of products just because. I have had enough mishapps with my skin that I like to research what I put on, and Kari’s recommendations are right on track with the key ingredients Dr. Baumann recommends (from Skin Type Solutions, which as a book was great but as a site has now sadly become a retail site). Cute spot and two excellent skin care lines. Kudos!

I just moved to Monterey from NY and was looking to get a facial to revive my dry skin from the NY winter. Kari was so sweet and knowledgeable and really made me feel like she cared about the issues I was having, she talked to me about some products to use and avoid and told me about a kit she carried at e spa that she thought would be great for me. It was a little pricey at 100 $ but since she had given me a wonderful facial, I decided to purchase it. The products have been working great and Kari even called me to see how my skin was doing since the facial! When I told her that some of the products from the kit had run out a little earlier than the months usage that they offer, she told me to come back in to the spa and she replaced them with no charge!
I am so happy with how professional and caring Kari is that I will absolutely continue to go back go her. After having such a terrible experience at Che Bella/​Studio 519 (you can find my review on there) I am just so happy to have at least found a spa to go to for my skin care needs. I highly recommend Kari to everyone!

KARI !!! I love Kari! I’ve had facials throughout my life in various places from L.A. and Palm Springs to Pebble and Monterey. A friend whom has great, glowing, seemingly age-​defying skin credited Kari at Elements, by and large, to that fact.
I made an appointment and have never had such a WONDERFUL facial and heavenly experience. From the quaint and cozy converted house in the historic El Estero area of Monterey to the warm, calming and charming room to Kari’s expert technique and such yum yum yummy smelling (and organic — I believe) products to the fabulous neck and arm massage Kari performs while you’re being pampered.
Kari, herself is so sweet, delightful, funny and kind you just want to book a facial every week just to be her friend. Elements is the ONLY place I get facials and every time I have one booked I am so giddy and excited — like a child going to Disneyland.

Kari is incredible! My eyebrows are incredible and my skin always look great since she started working on it. Not to mention the Day Spa is so relaxing with the music and the ambience. I would highly recommend to everyone!

Kari has done wonders for my skin. Honest and a true professional. Cozy place and she carries a great skin line. Fabulous massages too!
