Wow. What a fantastic experience. Leah is extremely knowledgable in anatomy, and therefore able to truly pin-​point problem areas. I suffer from sciatic pain that is sometimes so bad I can’t even get out of bed. One session with Leah and I was feeling better, more relaxed, and also able to move in ways I wasn’t able to the night before. I rebooked her immediately after the first session, can’t wait to book again.

I was already feeling tight and stiff before my trip from Los Angeles to Monterey so you can imagine the state of things after the drive! Feeling desperate for some relief after a restless night’s sleep, I looked on Unilocal and found Leah. I was trying to book a last-​minute massage and Leah was very accommodating. I know she has a busy schedule so I’m not saying that she will always be able to make room for someone at short notice. I just mean that she was already looking out for me from the first phone call to the actual treatment. She took time to attentively listen to me about my issues and made me feel very comfortable. The massage was relaxing and nurturing and I felt so, so much better afterwards. I have some acute back and muscle issues so I’m usually not a fan of a massage that just relaxes in the moment. Leah had a gentle, form and informed touch that went beyond making me feel good during the treatment. My body really got the help it needed and I am sure the massage helped me endure the drive back down to LA in a way I couldn’t have managed without Leah. Thank you!

I have finally met a massage therapist that massages my body the way she wants someone to massage her body. Leah reads my body with a trained and gifted healing touch. Leah also works on my husband, who tends to be on the picky side, Leah gets five stars from two people who feel lucky to have found her!

I have had 1 too many horrible massages in Monterey, and then I met Leah. I found her on Unilocal (thanks to all you other Unilocalers!) and I was eager to get a massage the moment I spoke with her to schedule an apt. You can really tell that she cares about her clients and wants to make a difference. A person with great customer service is a gem in it’s self these days. But, it doesn’t stop there, Leah is a great massage therapist and knows how to find those tight/​aching spots and knots on your body. She is also always learning new information and practices. Each session is little bit different, which is always a nice mix-​up since she has the ability to get to those tender spots with various massage techniques.

Leah is wonderful at what she does. I have received 2 massages from her and they were by far the best massages I have ever had. She is very easy to talk to and provides great customer service. I emailed her on a Sunday morning after having some lingering neck pain to check her availability not thinking she would be able to see me that day. Within 30 minutes she had emailed me back and we scheduled a time for that day. I was so thankful that she took time out of her Sunday to accommodate me without any notice.
She has a wonderful presence (a combination of strength, serenity and sensitivity) that made me feel at ease and is very in tune with the human body. The highlight of my massage was the way she would flow from the back to the neck and shoulder area, changing pressure along the way. After the massage I ended up buying a package of massages from Leah. Let me tell you, I have been offered many packages from spas, nail salons, etc. and have never signed up… until now. I didn’t even hesitate, the experience was wonderful and I couldn’t wait to go back!

Leah was amazing. Her knowledge of anatomy and holistic approach were everything I needed to get over deep shoulder knots and neck pains. She adjusted pressure and asked if it was okay to touch specifically painful areas. I felt that she was in tune with my body. It was so worth it. I wish I lived closer to see her more often.

I am an Acupuncturist and I receive a lot of body work… I am very picky and find most massages don’t seem wortht he cost. Leah is one of the BEST therapists I have ever received from. She is intuitive, strong, compassionate, highly skilled, not just a massage therapist but A true healer…

I was referred to Leah Rowe, cmt for a back problem I was having. She worked with me for only a half hour and yet pinpointed the problem immediately. I left feeling so much better. She knows the muscle/​bone structure and knew what needed to be worked on. She knew I was on a budget and indicated she would work with me in order to get me pain free. Best massage I have ever had, I will be returning whenever possible

I recently moved from SF and was looking for a great therapist. I believe she is a great one and just finds the tense area and gently but surely takes care of them. I like the oils she uses too. Essential oils that I love.

I just moved to the area and was so fortunate to find Leah. She knows what she is doing and really finds the areas that need work. She also applies the right amount of pressure and understands the human body. I’m very picky when choosing a massage therapist and would recommend her to anyone! She’s also certified in prenatal massage, so if you’re pregnant, she’s the best choice.

I feel so grateful to have found Leah for prenatal massage. As a therapist it is increasingly difficult finding someone that really works with the body with such synergy. She is very intuitive and brings lovely awareness to me and my little one. Her space is safe, professional, and she uses the highest quality of lotions and essential oils.

Well, I’ve used up all three massages in my package and my shoulder is feeling more mobile and the constant throbbing doesn’t occur anymore and no more waking up in the middle of the night with the pain, so I’m very happy. Happy enough that I’ve booked a 1 ½ hr massage with Leah next week so she has time to check if any other parts of me need some work.
Since I first came to see her, Leah has been thinking up creative ways to reach the deep tissue where the knots are located in my shoulder. Even though she has thoroughly dug into the most painful parts of my shoulder, somehow I never feel sore the next day. I suppose part of that would be because she is receptive to feedback as to the level of pressure she is applying.
For anyone looking for a relaxation massage, the office and the rooms are quiet, attractive and tranquil. Combine that with Leah’s very soothing touch and her gentle personality and I think she can probably match some of the best ‘spa’ massages. If we can ever get through all the knots in my body, maybe I’ll get to find out for sure, lol.
Oh yeah, and they have their own parking lot around the corner from the office on Carmelito so you don’t have to search for a parking spot, bonus!

For one being very picky about massages, I highly recommend Leah Rowe. She has a magical touch, full of healing, peace and tranquility. I think she starts working on you the second you walk through the door. She is very intuitive :)

Leah has a beautiful touch paired with a deep sensitivity, making her a wonderful massage therapist. She really offers a safe and loving environment in which to relax and release tension.

I’ve received massage from Leah on numerous occasions throughout the year. She has a very special touch, intuitive, caring, mothering, and intellectual. I’d recommend Leah to anyone who wants to receive from trusting hands.

Leah has come to my rescue many times. My profession puts quite a strain on my neck and shoulders.
