First we felt a bit ignored– we waited by the counter to get seated. After a few minutes the waitress showed up, apologized and took us to the patio. She was super friendly and just didn’t see us entering at first. I had a crab sandwich and fries. It was probably the best sandwich I have ever had and ever will have. Food and drinks were here so fast, I think she wanted to make up the time we had to wait before:) The view is amazing and it wasn’t too busy.

Service was good, pop refills were taken care of quickly, we were checked on enough but not too much, food came out fast. Our server was pleasant and helpful. We ordered a lot of things to try out since this was our first time in. Sadly, we did not get anything nearly as good as it should have been for what we paid, except for my son’s fish and chips and the mixed vegetables(not sure if these were fresh or frozen, hard to screw up veg and these were good). The calamari was okay, but a little undercooked for my taste. Not a huge deal. Everything else was from a package or a bottle, though. No house made dressings or sauces, the sliders were made with a hamburger patty cut into 4 uneven pieces rather than slider sized patties. The meat in the sliders was cooked a little over but flavored well enough. The chicken tenders were straight out of the freezer as were the sweet potato sticks(fries). The cheesecake was a small piece, too dense and lacking in flavor. Not worth the 4.99. The brownie Sunday was a better value for dessert, though I think the brownie was probably frozen/purchased from Sysco or some other food product provider, not from scratch. Brownies are SO easy to make and inexpensive to do. Sadness. For the high prices on food and drink,($ 3.50 for a fountain drink(?!) our expectations were not met, and the fact that so little is made from scratch in their kitchen is very disappointing. We might return for drinks and trivia sometime since the trivia was fun, but as far as food goes, should be better for the price. Maybe lose some of the less popular items on the menu, guessing some of the apps could go, and make more of the foods and condiments in house. It will save you $ and then you are providing a better, fresher product to the customer! And if you need a brownie maker, give me a holler! I’m sorry to have so many negatives about the food, but pleased about the service and atmosphere and looking forward to another trivia night sometime.

Food was good. Pub food, but the service stinks. Waited way to long for any service at all. Food not good enough to bring me back due to service.

We came in on Friday for lunch and sat at the back. Our party of 4 split two fish and chips and each person got a bowl of clam chowder. Two days later and we are still talking about how good it was and worth the drive. Our server from Chico State was very sweet and personable, in fact all the staff we encountered were pleasant. We will be back here soon for more seafood and great views of the boats and ocean.

I ordered the cod sandwich and a bangers with mash. The mash and gravy was good and creamy but the banger was bland and needs to be researched for a better flavor. The cod sandwich with chips was the better of the two meals. The cod was huge the bread was fresh and the chips were tasty. The place needs to find a better tartar sauce theirs tastes straight from a bottle. I had take out so i cannot comment on restrooms or seating.

I don’t suggest this restaurant. It takes forever for someone to help you and then doesn’t take the order correctly. Ordered crab and shrimp sandwich and it had too many shells. Also asked for a salad instead of fries which was offered and they charged $ 7.00 more. And basically the whole time there we were ignored.

Nice place. Great Location. My Friend and I stopped in on our way back to the rented condo after buying some fish at the local fish market. The beer was tasty and they had a very nice selection. We had the Fat Lip, Dragon Slayer, Shipwreck, Big Sur Golden, and the Pendragon Strong. All the beers were served at proper temp by a very nice and knowledgeable waiter by the name of Jessie. She really knew her stuff when it comes to beers. And the place was not very busy at the time — but sometimes that is when you get the worst service. But Jessie did a GREAT job of taking care of us without being intrusive. We only had beers — no food because dinner was on ice in the car But I will be back in Monterey again and when I go there i will visit the London Bridge Pub and maybe have some food too.

No stars. A very poor excuse for a pub or restaurant. Crab cakes obviously prepare /frozen; all filler with nary a lump of crab to be seen and tasted of the previous 40 things fried in it. Waitress’s dumped half my drink on the table.. Dismal atmosphere at 8 pm

Great place right on fisherman a wharf. Took my family for my nephews 8th birthday. Staff was great and really helpful. They lit the candles and brought out the cake while we sung happy birthday. Our waitress was great with the kids, wish I could remember her name. The Fish and chips are really good, but my wife won’t stop talking about the BBQ burger she had. Delicious she says. The clam chowder is also good. The fries are big steak fries. The atmosphere was cool, they have couches to sit and eat at, lots of TVs and a couple of different rooms to choose from. We will definitely come back next time we go back to Monterey.

We ordered the calamari, fish N chips, and the Westminster cottage pie. The calamari and the fish N chips were delicious! The calamari was tender and fried to perfection. The cottage pie was ok. The mix of ground beef and veggies and stuff was not super flavorful. The restaurant has a nice outside dining area. A couple of tables have a fireplace in the middle. So gather your friends and enjoy the fire in the breezy, chilly night.

Ordered 3 clam chowders in bread bowls and a hamburger. Total came to $ 80. For pub food it was fair but at $ 3.50 a soda the pricing was high. Also, the waitress asked us what we wanted to drink before we were given menus. If I’d known the drinks were so expensive I at least would have ordered something with alcohol! I’m a native Californian so I’m used to tourist prices but this was a little ridiculous. …for the quality. Also, no water view at our table and the restaurant was empty… Should have taken that as a sign.

We really enjoyed our meal and service. Fettuccine Alfredo, fish and chips, wings and Parmesan crusted cod is what we ordered and we are every last bite on our plates. I’d come back for sure.

Great place! Neat location right next to the Monterey yacht club, and just a few minutes walk from the wharf and cannery row! Never been to England but this truly has an authentic feel to it. The décor is just right: rich and earthy, lots of brick and wood and leather upholstered furniture. There’s a lounge up front, and a pub at the back. There’s even an outdoor seating area for dining or just enjoying a draft beer or three. Speaking of beer, they have a pretty impressive selection on draft and in the bottle. English classics and some damned good American offerings as well. The fish and chips were fantastic. Off the chart. Be sure to try the spicy thousand island dip with it! Don’t pass this place up! Give it a shot! You won’t be sorry.

Sigh* If I could come here everyday for the rest of my life, I would. I walked into the Pub and honestly wasn’t expecting it to be great but I was hungry so whatever. I ordered their calamari, shrimp wrap and westminster cottage pie, all three were absolutely delicious. Also ordered their bloody mary, SOSO good. I am giving this place 10 stars. Nice outdoor seating– another bonus!

When we walked into the Pub, we noticed that the carpet needed cleaning, and the small patio just off from the entrance was a bit dirty, but, the staff seemed to be very friendly. We had my support dog with us, so we sat at that first outside area. The menu was done well, and the prices are comprible with other eateries. We ordered our drinks and I got a sandwich and hubby got a steak, and we shared the calimari. Food came out fairly quickly, and looked good. We became aware that the restaurant had a doggy menu, as well, since I was sharing my dinner with my dog. She ordered the burger. The food was good and not overpriced. Other than the first bad image with the carpet, the place was nice, and a good place when visiting the area, to get a bite to eat.

My family and I just conveniently came to this restaurant because it was the first appealing one that had appeared. The food was very good for all of the three orders; the salmon, clam chowder, and the chicken tenders. The price was reasonable considering how large some of the portions were. I unfortunately forgot to get our waiter’s name, but he was extremely friendly and helpful, continuously refilling out water and asking if we were okay. Would totally return once in the area; I miss the food already!

Great beer but very disappointed with the fish n chips. Touted as the best in the west, or? Mushy and weird texture. It’s ok, not the best.

What a difference a day makes. We went to this pub two times because we loved it and we had Kimberly as our waitress. She was fantastic. She understood the menu, she was quick, and she was very accommodating. On our way home on Monday we decided to stop for lunch because we were just addicted to the shrimp wrap. Jessica ruined it for us because she was a total jerk the entire time. Kimberly was nowhere in sight. Jessica open the door at 11:30 and you would swear she would rather not have a job. I can’t prove this but the miserable look on her face showed it all. We asked her if we could sit outside and she said«sure whatever». When it came time to order we asked for shrimp wraps and I asked for mine without avocado. She said it never comes without avocado because it’s already mixed in. Now I had eaten here twice before in the last three days and I know it comes without avocado. She almost rolled her eyes but I couldn’t tell for sure. Miserable I tell you. She brought our wraps with french fries. I said we wanted side salads. She said oh you have to tell me that. There are 4 or five different choices that come with the shrimp wrap and it was our job to tell her instead of her asking us which of the five we wanted??? She just assumed we wanted french fries which we haven’t eaten in 20 years. She brought the meals back to the kitchen with a scowl on her face. Moments later they came out with our side salad. She never once asked us how our meals were or if we want to refills on our drinks. We did want our check right away because we were on our way home and we didn’t want to have to look for her to get our check. She dropped it at the table and that was it. Plop! No thank you or anything like that. I gave her 15% and not a dime more and she didn’t even deserve that. Kimberly where were you? While we will go to the pub again, if I see Jessica, I’m running like my butts on fire.

Personally, I love a place with great English beer selection and has soccer on. Only bad thing about this place is the tiny TV’s. This may be by design, however, I believe that would boost sales and moral. Good is tasty and reasonably priced. Can’t go wrong with fish n chips with some vinegar!

GREAT views! And for that, this place is worth a stop. The food and ambience are on point as well. Try the fish and chips. You can’t go wrong with it. When we went, place was pretty slammed but the servers did very well handling the rush. I would definitely come back. Solid food and drinks. Try the«Carmel Wheat» beer as that was really good.
