The best yakisoba ever and the service is outstanding! It’s been too long I was looking for a good yakisoba and I feel so lucky I found it there. I’m always in a hurry, so I just give them a call and in 15 minutes it’s ready to pick up. Everything is so fresh and so delicious. Love it!!!

Stumbled upon this place walking around and had some great rolls of sushi boy was I in for a surprise because I knew that I would have such a delicious time. My girlfriend and I loved it, but I wouldn’t say that I wouldn’t love it if I didn’t know anything about it ;-)

Everytime I go to Monterey Bay, this is my go to place! The menu has a lot of options so it’s hard to choose what to get. Everytime I go I’m really hungry and I just wanna try everything on the menu! Since I’m so far from this place, I believe it’s no big to splurge on eating here. Customer service: slow cause it’s usually packed and a lot of people order too much food. Not enough servers too. Food: Self service for water and japanese taste ice tea. There are cups to just grab and tumblrs for water or ice tea. — katsu donburi: pork was just made right, not too fat and the skin was quite crispy! There’s a lot of egg pieces on the pork, so it made the entrée more yummy. The sauce on it is kinda unique, which was very interesting and flavorful. — curry chicken udon: broth is so good and not too spicy either. I felt the portion wise was unfair, so much udon and only 4 little pieces of chicken. Really? The taste was super good though. — takoyaki: this place has the most delicious takoyaki ever! And for a very cheap price too. I always order the 10 pieces one. Very squishy when biting into it also. This appetizer did come out slower than the main entrees, but doesn’t matter cause it’s so savory. Always great to save the best for last.

Amazing food and many options! Sushi is great and the prices are awesome. Always friendly staff and helpful with food modifications. Great candy, beer and tea selection. Enjoy a filling lunch with out feeling the unhealthy guilt of most places. Parking can be hard at times but well worth the wait and walk.

I got the veggie ramen(not vegan) and it was incredible! Also got a spicy tuna roll and they serve real wasabi, woot! They have complimentary hot and iced tea, which is delicious, and the servers were all very warm and wonderful. Can’t get any better! Their menu is a bit overwhelming but that’s ok. And they have plenty of authentic desserts and seaweed salad etc. The atmosphere is very casual and cute.

Way too slow with the food! Not as good as it seems! We had both sushi and sashimi bento. The rice is not really tasty. The fish is not as fresh as it should be. The soup is fine. The dragon roll is ok, but because of the lack of speed, the tempura was too cold when they serve it. Creative ideal with the food! However, not successful with the taste. Didn’t get a chance to try other stuff. It maybe better then what we had.

We have visited this small restaurant every time we come to Monterey — it is a Find! Very small, lively but inviting. They gave a very large menu and everything we have had is delicious and inexpensive. The service is very friendly and outgoing and the customers are mainly young people… making for s lively atmosphere. Highly recommended if you like Japanese
