Bottom line: This was an excellent experience and I will return on a monthly basis.
I saw Tracy to help treat some shoulder issues. As an athlete, I was hesitant to spend the money on massage as a regular tool to help in recovery. After this visit, my mind is changed completely. Tracy helped alleviate many of my symptoms and was deeply knowledgeable about her profession. I walked away wondering why I had not come sooner. I look forward to the next visit.

Tracy did a great job! Pressure was great, felt nice and relaxed after my massage. Would recommend Tracy to anyone!

I first began seeing Cedric five years ago at a different location shortly after having major knee surgery. His knowledge and background in sports therapy no doubt aided in my recovery. It is because of this coupled with his professionalism, expertise, and adroit skills that I chose to follow him to Peak Performance Massage when it opened a few years ago. Not too long after, I experienced an unfortunate car accident, and I turned to Cedric for help. He, alongside my physical therapist, were the only individuals from whom I sought treatment. And, when my insurance stopped physical therapy payments, it was Cedric who has able to continue in my recovery process. I saw him on a weekly basis for various types of massage, and it is without question that his competency and know-​how to instinctively address my body’s issues that I was able to recover at a much quicker rate. As if all of this were not enough, Cedric’s kind nature and genuine concern for his patients is evident from the moment he says hello and inquires about his clients’ needs. Unlike other massage therapists I’ve encountered, he takes the time to truly listen and offer guidance that is in the client’s best interest, not his own. In fact, even though I now live in New York City, he still continues to touch base with me to see how I’m doing; and, as you can imagine, he’s one of the first appointments I make when I know I will be back in the area! So, if you’re in the market for a phenomenal massage, either for relaxation or for therapeutic purposes, in a warm, clean, and welcoming environment, then it is without reservation I recommend Cedric and Peak Performance Massage.

I have horrible knots in my back because of reaching too much at my old job. I’ve been driving all the way to Marin to see my old MT because I was certain I would never find anyone as good as she (I just relocated here a few months ago). I finally decided to try someone local and went with Cedric based on other Unilocal reviews. I got the trigger point therapy and I can say without question it was THE BEST massage I’ve ever had. He got right into those knots and the pain around them. No fluff or frills, just down to business. I felt INCREDIBLE when I left — no pain at all. I am soooo picky about massage and rarely get them. I cannot say enough good things about my experience and I will continue to go to Peak Performance regularly!!!

I saw the reviews on Unilocal and thought I’d give Tracy a try — and boy am I glad I did! I had hurt myself and was having back spasms and in a great deal of pain. Tracy knew right away that the problem wasn’t my back, but tight muscles. I’ve been going in to see her every few weeks and feel so much better.
Tracy is an excellent masseuse. Very good with deep tissue and great at communicating so the pressure is just right. Easy to get to location with plenty of parking.
If you’re looking for a day spa environment, this isn’t it, but if you’re looking for a quality massage, then look no further.

Tracy was the BOMB! She worked me from toe to head, giving me the best deep massage I have ever had. She also knew exactly where I needed to stretch and assisted the stretches. This was my 1^st time with Tracy and I would definitely recommend her. She’s also very strong, which is helpful when getting a deep massage or extra pressure where needed!

Just tried the kinesio tape for my planter fasciitis with Cedric. One of the days I was wearing it I actually forgot that I actually had planter fasciitis. Such a simple strategy but very effective and worth every penny! I will be back!

Cedric is the best sports masseuse in Monterey county, he is highly recommended! His location is clean, quiet and private. You can relax and escape!

I have been in Monterey for a year and just now found Cedric. If you prefer deep tissue he is the one! He is strong and finds all the hot spots needing attention. I am so glad to have finally find him.

I am very, very picky when it comes to massage! Most therapists don’t use enough pressure or don’t have much intuition on where to work (in my experience). Cedric is amazing. He’s a talented therapist, is strong, knows how to use the right pressure and is a kind person to top it off! He has helped me with pain, stress, tight muscles and other issues from dealing with a chronic disease. My life is better the weeks I get a massage from him. He’s awesome! I’ve never had a massage from his partner, Tracy, but have heard great things about her as well. Peak Performance is great!

I am visiting Monterey Bay for the weekend and wanted a deep tissue massage. I found Peak Performance Massages on Unilocal and I have been super impressed with Cedric’s skills. He found immediately my tight spots and was able to work them out. I left Peak Performance with no more feelings of tightness or pain in my neck and shoulders and my posture improved visibly. Best massage ever. I will definitely return when back in the area!

Cedric was awesome! Had a 90 minute massage and it was amazing! I’ve had some really terrible Groupon massages around the peninsula — this was by far the best masage I’ve had (groupon or not) in a long time. Even given the fact that it was a Friday at 5 and i was likely his last client of a long week.
I’ll definitely be back — and paying regular price — for work with Cedric.

Got a couples massage (two groupon deals) with my wife for our second wedding anniversary here. Both my wife and I came out feeling refreshed and very happy. The two mesusse’ we had were great. My wife got her massage from Dianna and I got mine from Tracy. Tracy had a great grip able to work deep tissue in my back that really relieved a ton of pressure i had been feeling lately. She also is very talented with feel. They put on nice music during the massage and had the lights turned to a relaxing level. All in all it was exactly what my wife and i needed to start our mini-​vacation in Carmel.

Thank you Cedric! All of last month was full of too much driving, cleaning, rushing around. Feeling more human again, ready for my week. Love your new place, by the way!

I’ve been a Cedric fan for years & he just keeps getting better. He always asks what’s happening with my body, but he invariably finds hotspots I didn’t even know existed. Intuitive, healing hands. Five stars, for reals folks! And the studio is comfortable and roomy. A major improvement over Massage Envy, although I have to say there is no place like home and Cedric does out-​calls as well. It’s all good. Catch him anywhere you can!
