The best granola I’ve ever had, by far. No added sugar, just honey and a helluva lot of great stuff.

This is my first visit to this lovely new bakery. I was pleasantly surprised at the good balance they strike between modern and comfort, with music that suited but did not distract. The gingers nap cookie was large but not overpriced for the value. I was surprised it was quite filling, the ginger was perfectly balanced and the cookie left a lingering soft sugar cookie taste behind. Something that went well with my coffee but would be well suited to tea also. The cheddar quiche was the big surprise, though. The buttery crust was better than I have ever had outside my own kitchen, and the mixture smooth and flavorful without too much cheese or egg. My sister who doesn’t even like quiche ate almost half of mine. They warmed it up for me for free and the wait of 10 min for them to do so was worth it. I will be returning.

I live right next to this place and loved it. No need to go across town anymore. The lemon bar was delicious as the peanut butter cookie and the apricot cookie lol! Hit the spot on our way down to the park. Friendly staff. What a treat it was and prices were reasonable. Wish I had a pic but they didn’t last long.

This place is So amazing!!! Everything I tried was delicious, fresh and super moist. I tried the apricot scone, I don’t like apricots, but was being polite and I ended up LOVING it! Bought one for breakfast the next day. I also tried the peanut butter cookie, my son had a chocolate chip cookie and my daughter had a brownie. They were all delicious! We bought a small lemon loaf cake as well and it was devine! It still tasted good 3 days later. The owners are super duper cute and the associate was very helpful. You must try!!!

Went in for quich; didn’t have any. So got key lime pie and carrot cake. Both were great. The cake was dense and moist. I missed cream cheese in frosting, and my husband missed nuts in the cake; but we still liked it a lot. Key Lime was great; crust wonderful too. Very cute place; clean too. My husband is finishing cake as I write, and is saying; this is really good. Gave it only 4 stars because of no quich.

Starbucks on David/Lighthouse was starting to get a little too crowded for me, so I was looking for an alternate place to get my daily dose of java. What a gem I found!(I just wish they were open longer into the evening like Starbucks.)

We stumbled upon The Perfect Crumb because we were running behind and our standby coffee & treat spot was closing at noon. What a stroke of unexpected luck! This bakery is spotless and beautifully decorated, but the happy atmosphere made us feel comfortable enough to have two kids(5 and 2) along for a special bite to eat. Between our group, we enjoyed lemon bread, an apricot scone and coffee cake — all warm and delicious! Coffee was piping hot and hit the spot. Service was super friendly and patient with the little ones who had more trouble deciding(because what kiddo wouldn’t want every frosted morsel in the case?). I am always so happy to receive good service at hip spots. No pretentious vibes, here! We will definitely be back, and will spread the word among our local friends. What a nice addition to the area!

I went in yesterday, again, because I wanted a fresh-baked loaf of bread to go with dinner and thought I’d give it another shot. Though there weren’t many options, I took the nearest thing they had and it was SO good! I can’t remember what it’s called but it starts with a C and was a braided loaf with poppy seed on-top. It has the coloration of a brioche and almost tastes like one too but is far less sweet and airy, so it’s truly more like a slightly sweet dinner roll(but oh so good!) It was only four dollars for a large loaf and honestly, between two of us– this morning we had a 2 in by 6 in piece left… so I hope this bread sticks around and now I’m even more eager to try more of their bread and desserts in the near future!

This is a very charming local bakery with delicious baked goods. I ate their carrot bread, which was really really good. I was supposed to share it with coworkers but ended up eating it all myself. I also ordered an oatmeal cookies and ate all of that, too!

Went for the Grand Opening and got some cookies and Macaroons. Have to say they were pretty tasty.

My husband and I were really looking forward to a new spot to get some sweets and a cup of tea. It’s super cute in there, but were quite disappointed with the pastries. I got the cinnamon roll, which was dry and tasted old and wasn’t sweet at all. My husband got a croissant which was average. We’ll return to try out something else and hopefully this was just a fluke.

I recently went to the bakery and bought their lemon cake, granola, key lime pie, and bread. The lemon cake was delicious, moist, not too sweet or too tart… just perfect. The granola was the best I’ve ever tasted — a nice mix of seeds, cranberries and nuts with a mapley sugar sweetness I really liked. The brown seed bread was moist and light with a tender crust and nutty crumb and their Key Lime Pie was to die for — need I say more :) There was a really nice place to sit down and eat as well.

I had their lemon bread, from their old Salinas location. It was good, but not great. The green apple muffins, which I bought more recently at the Pacific Grove farmers market, were okay, but really not any better than what you can find at your local Safeway or Costco bakery, IMHO.
