Val Termotto, DMD

This is a great place. They have two offices, one in Monterey and one in Salinas so the hours are even more convenient. Dr. Termotto was super friendly and easy to talk to. In my first appointment, as a new patient, I was able to have x-​rays done and a cleaning and Dr. Termotto practically did the whole thing! He is credible and honest. In the past, with other dentists, I usually just see the dentist for 5 minutes. The front office staff is extremely professional and friendly.

I love Dr. Termotto! He is a great dentist, reasonably priced, and he is interesting to talk to. He has done some fillings for me with no problems and lasting work.

Ditto on the previous reviews. I had a local dentist take over my old dentists practice when she moved, and told me I needed fairly extensive work done to fill a cavity on a tooth that had a bridge attached, plus redo the bridge or add an implant for the missing tooth that the bridge covered. Totalled about 4 to 5 Thousand dollars.
I went to Dr. T and he looked at it, said «no problem» he could fill the small cavity without removing the crown, which he did. The intial visit was free, too.
The man is honest, does good work, operates a no frills, no BS practice, and has very sweet staff working with him. No pressure to do this or that here. He tells you what you need to do, and looks you in the eye.
Dentists are the only medical professionals who get training in marketing, and I have been to a some locally that make you feel like you are on the car lot buying a car! Not here!

This man is the BEST. I was not a patient yet (saving $ to go) and my back molar cracked all the way on Saturday. I called his office and the message gave a # to call for emergencies. well I thought I could wait till Mon. and by 2PM on Sunday I was in real pain so I called and Unbelievable he answered the phone.(I figured it would be a service).told me to come in when they opened and he would work me in.
He did work me in and had to extract my rotten tooth, took him 45 mins because it was crumbing and he had to dig it out.(I felt nothing) and he was so sweet worrying that I was numb enough and chatting to make me more comfortable.
His staff are also very nice and real. like him, not phony nice, but real genuine kind people.
I am 65 and this is the most wonderful medical professional I have ever been around. I consider myself very lucky to have found him.
Just the BEST!!!

So here’s my experience with Dr. T —
First, he is open at night.
This means that you don’t have to cram your dentist appointment in during your lunch hour.
Second, Sabine the receptionist/​dental hygenist, will always try to squeeze you in and fanagle things so you can get into an appointment slot.
Third, Dr. T is honest. I went to him to get a second opinion after a certain dentist in Ryan Ranch told me I had eight cavities and his office was literally calling and harrassing me to come in and get my fillings. Dr. T told me I had none.
Please see him if you want someone honest dealing with your teeth and gums.
